Okay app, okay service. However according to the policy, you are entitled to a pro-rated refund on a subscription cancelation. I canceled the day after being charged my final month and they set it up for "review" that conveniently lasted the rest of the "subscription period". I spent almost $100 and only used one service, one time. Thats not how you should treat a customer that youre advertising so hard to for a new subscription.

I've used the app before in past years and it worked great, but I've been trying to download it again for a couple weeks and it only freezes with a spinning loading icon and never did anything. I have to force stop the app every time to get out as I can't do anything else. Very disappointing. UPDATE: App downloaded and opened successfully today, after multiple tries over the past couple weeks. I did not make any changes/ updates on my phone, but today it worked. Glad it's fixed.

Needs to provide all information and reasonably let you make requests regarding reopening of cases/file complaints, ect. Dont close cases unreasonably. Ive had the same case closed 3 times after repeatedly submitting repeated information and can verify. Had a mishap. It got fixed asap. App works great so far. The only downside is not being able to re-open/resubmit requests/documents via this app and / or without calling in to customer support. Overall, It's more convenient.

Great service while living in California, good service in Michigan. Now, with the new app, I have not been able to log on, even after being on the phone with customer service for almost an hour. LS needs a ticketing system. The poor rep was trying to help but had no idea about the app not working for multiple ppl as I found in the reviews. AND, thi matter still has not been resolved!

Just learned reading in the app phone calls and letters on your behalf is a once free per year thing. If anything is going to prevent a big expense and your customers from getting pushed over by big companies or entities, its having this piece of the service. It really should not be limited and looking through whats included its so specific I dont know if I want to keep service at this point. Price increase announced and no way to cancel without calling that I can see.

This is a review more about the app than the service- the app doesn't work. I literally just watch the initial loading screen spin forever and it never properly loads. I've used the website to some effect but I rather liked it when the app actually worked. I'm running a Pixel 3 and yes, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, the phone, all sorts of things. It just doesn't work.

I am making a real estate purchase and was told I'd be referred to a law firm and hear back in 3 business days. That time has passed and I received no communication. So I'm going to have to look somewhere else. Luckily the stakes are rather low and I still have time, but if I cannot count on this service when the stakes are low, I fear what will happen if the stakes are high.

Buyer beware bait and switch! I signed up with this company to give me advice and help me start my handyman business over 10 years ago. I even fell for their pyramid scheme/multilevel marketing scheme. I then didnt need anything from them and was running my business. thinking I was paying them for sort of a retainer when I may need some legal advice or protection in my business. turns out over that time they eliminated the plan I signed up for and put me in a non business plan. im screwed.

Unfortunately, my experience with LegalShield and Glantzlaw Firm has been extremely frustrating. After weeks of waiting, my trust and estate planning documents were still not completed correctly, despite multiple calls and emails requesting assistance. The lack of communication, follow-through, and resolution on both parties has been disappointing—especially for something as important as estate planning. I would not recommend this service based on my experience.

I got in contact with them and was assured numerous times to be contacted right away about my legal issues. but even with paying 79.99 I got nothing.

while the app is pretty bad, the service is a joke. The only nice person you'll talk to is the receptionist at the law firm you get assigned to. The way they talk and treat you, without saying it, the lawyers attitude just screams "legal shield doesn't pay us enough to waste time on whatever you need help with, don't call back". And good luck canceling the membership. I would recommend listening to the lawyers and don't waste your time.

While the advice you get from a lawyer might be sound the app itself is a scam. It takes MONTHS to cancel your account and they WILL overcharge you. It doesn't matter if you've cancelled "in writing" All they do is send you email after email saying "they're working on your request" and you get charged month after month. And even when you follow up you get another email saying "They're working on your request." it's less hassle to go to an actual lawyer. USER BEWARE!

the app helped me get in contact with legal services when I need it but they make it so complicated to cancel the subscription. you have to call customer support then go through an automated process that tells you how to cancel your subscription then after calling you also have to turn in a written request to cancel. and after all that they "encourage" you to make sure they received your written request while still charging the membership fees

I installed the app eight times tonight, and it didn't install despite all the messages that the app was compatible with my system. I found it in the Google apps and tried installing it through both Chrome as well as through the MS Edge Browser to pull and fine the Application and to pick the install button. I did many searches for it after the installation. It simply wasn't there. It does not work. I will try tomorrow on my tablet, but I have little hope that the installation will be any better. It is a non-functioning app for even the installation.

I cancelled my service back in September, as the app states you can cancel either by phone or submit your request by written letter. I cancelled by phone and 3 months later, I'm still being charged. This is a VERY shady and illegal scheme. DO NOT use this service! EDIT: Since your app said EITHER call or in writing, I called. You all have the recording and I have the screenshot of the options in your own app. Charge me again and I'll have GOOD legal representation to take your company to court.

Erin the virtual assistant is useless. Just keeps referring you to call customer service. Customer service is horrible. No one there seems to be up to date on modern technology. Their suggestion seems to always be check back in a couple of days to see if, the problem is resolved. Plus the service hours are really inconvenient if, you have a job. Needs a lot of work in my opinion.

App worked fine and customer service seemed decent, my issue was when I set up a consultation that I was never contacted during the alloted time. Based on that impression of my prospective representation, I canceled my membership and either hoped to find someone else or I would just have to give up on the issue that I needed help with.

I have been trying to uninstall this app for months. Nothing works! Can't log in anymore so i want to delete it. It tells me to call customer service. I am no longer an active member after the lawyer quite my case and told me to take my case to small claims. I did and settled. Now i want the app gone. Too many glitches it just updates on its own. Don't want it don't need it. The company or this app has done nothing for me except a lot of frustration. FYI they use to be called PREPAID LEGAL.

Deceptive practices and hard to cancel your subscription! Beware! I had Legal Shield for several months when I ask to help with some fraud case. Lawyer called me just to say that in order to help me I need to upgrade to a business plan. They make you to jump through hoops in order to cancel your subscription too! It has to be done in writing.
