The app has slowly degraded over the last ~4-6 months to the point of being nearly completely unusable. Most times I will open the app and the login screen just...isn't there. And IF I can log in, doing nearly any action gives a generic "try again later" message. All I can do is see my account balance, and nothing else. This is after multiple reinstalls of the app, and trying on multiple devices and Internet networks.

This system is worse than the previous one. Two major billers won't link for over a week, you just get an error message, and there is no ebill capability for Verizon Credit card- which there was before. For the billers that do link to an ebill, you have to go into a separate screen to see what's due, and then flip back into the payment screen and remember the amount due because it's not listed where you actually pay the bill. Additionally, there's no way to see what bills are due by date.

Why on Earth would a bank release an app that isn't compatible with a wide array of Android operating systems? That's got to be an error. Nobody is that dumb -- right? And, this newer version is impossible to find in the Play store. I can only find it using links from Liberty's website. Only the older version ever appears in any search results. #badrollout

The fact that you got told you had to install a new app in the message of the day screen, and that they made everyone change their passwords even outside of the app, points to a major data breach. If they changed their backend they could still have updated the app in Google play to either download the new one on top or tell you in app, not in the message they load over the internet. If they have basic computer security everyone's passwords are still safe (liberty just can't use them anymore)

This app is absolutely terrible. I have a new Samsung S23 Ultra and the app constantly logs me out as soon as I login and I'm forced to login again. It's insanely frustrating. I am a web, software and data developer/engineer and would NEVER be comfortable releasing an app like this, especially seeing that it's a bank app. I would fire the dev team immediately and hire better people! Very poor! I'm so aggravated at this issue that I might even consider switching banks.

Notifications/alerts does NOT work! It worked on the old app. Uninstalled the app, reinstalled, notifications is approved on my phone & Liberty confirmed everything was done right, yet, they have no answer as to why it doesn't work & can't help further. Had to log in through the computer to arrange the order the accounts showed up instead of arranging/dragging them from the screen itself. I don't like all the white, like most say, no dark mode option? Hate the new app!

I have no clue what went wrong, but the app kept loading and reloading saying it had to verify that my "browser" was secure. I kept tapping the human verification button and it kept asking me for it again and again. Restarted the app a few times, but to no avail. Fix your app!

Idk if it's me, but I absolutely hate this new app. I can't log in to the mobile app, keeps saying invalid password, but it works on the web site. Also, I can't access my fast balances. Plus some other issues. Now I need to find time to call customer service and try to figure it out. Plus the new app is just ugly

Overall it's good. No major issues other than design, I agree with others this bright white has to go! The blue liberty or dark mode screens were much better previously and the bubbley look of the features is ok. Before it had a sleek, professional, soothing vibe. This - well its certainly different vibes, it will take getting used to.

Quite a leap forward! I love the new UI, but there ARE still some quirks. Firstly, this app is DESPERATELY in need of a dark mode. Second, I would love the ability to rearrange the order of accounts on the main screen. Third, notifications refuse to work no matter how many times I set them. Otherwise, scheduled Xfers are fine, but I can't speak on billpay, as I don't use that service. The new credit monitoring feature is also nice. Looking forward to updates and improvements!

Not a terrible redesign. But dev team... It's 2023. Dark mode is NOT an optional feature. This needs to be fixed soon, before you mature the app and it gets more bloated. You don't want to have to bring in a dark mode feature after you've layered on a bunch of updates/modules/etc. Also, why can't I customize the view order of my accounts? Seems like you can still hide accounts from view, but no option to order them differently.

The redesign functions better than the previous version, but I'm still disappointed. I don't like the layout, I don't like the bright white screen, and biometric still is about 50/50 whether it'll let you use it.

I really do not like the new UI / screens, especially the bright white background as opposed to the dark blue it used to be. Also the app feels 'bubbly" and like it's trying to seem hip / cool which as a younger person, is kinda cringe for a banking app. I liked how straight forward, neat and organized the last app was. Whoever thought this was a good idea should be fired lol... -edit- after seeing other reviews, almost all of the 5 star reviews are clearly either fake bots or liberty employees

Overall the new app is fine. It's just very ugly in comparison to the old app. There's no dark mode option or any real accessibility options so God help you if you open it in the dark. It's like they downgraded their look thinking the previous look wasn't "high society" enough, what you're left with is a bright white screen that just hurts to look at. The people who designed it should take a hard look into stadium lights and see if they enjoy the experience.

I wish it could be no stars, this design is annoying, sloppy, visually unappealing and it doesn't even work. I installed the new app and it won't let me log in I have to go through the online website. It wasnt broke why fix it.

The app is so bright even with my brightness down, nightmode on and the anti blue mode on. It's physically painful. The app actually seems fake. If I didn't click the download link sent from the bank I would have thought it's a scam. I would actually give it less stars if I could. I don't understand why they needed to change absolutely everything about the app. I understand they needed to upgrade the app. But this new app is awful and really needs to be revised by a new design team.

I love this version of this app! I do way more things now that I don't have to go to the bank lol. I can deposit an check, move money around, setup deposit from one account to another, etc.. This app made my banking so much easier.

So much better than the old one! This UI is much easier to use and user-friendly, the look of the app is sleek, and I can still easily manage both personal and business accounts, transfers, Bill Pay, etc.

Push notifications do not work! A theme/color option would be nice. I do like the ballace Snapshot option over the previous quick view. Overall a downgrade from the prior version.

the new version of the app is more limited than the previous version. I enjoyed being able to see my pay check as soon as it posted. now I can't see it until the day of. other small things like that that were not changed for the better.
