Over the last few days the app insists I have no internet connection... it's the only app to do this. I've tried WiFi and mobile data - same error message. Uninstalled, reinstalled, several times - same problem. Nothing has changed on my phone!! I've cleared the cache, program data still not working. ☹️

Currently waiting a response from the Lidl application help service as requested. The item I selected was a free item and it was listed in the included items, but not credited, whereas, the other free item was credited correctly. I am waiting to see if it was an incorrectly entered item; or a maximum of 1 item; or if I selected the wrong item (note that I checked that it was an included item with matching code, name, and weight.). I will update the review with their response.

Most useless app ever. Half the time it's not working. Now we went to the till with things set out in the store as 3 for 9euro and no-one could figure out how to set the discount so we had to pay 2 euros extra. Also, you apparently have to activate every single offer so it's very misleading when it says a discount is for Lidl plus customers. Of course, you can't activate anything on an app that doesn't work properly.

Edited after the latest changes to the app: app now very slow in changing screens (e. g. from treats to offers). Much worse now, hardly able to use in-store. Good idea but would make much more sense if it gave you the digital receipt without you having to use one of the coupons. Doesn't scan if you're not buying any of the items 'on offer' - why?

worst app ever!!! What's the point of having an app if I can't see all the food items they have in the store and the price. I understand that u don't do deliveries, but having that will be easier for customers to budget. the only thing I can check what food they sell is through their brochure. the only thing u can use this app for - klantkaart -check receipt -webshop - discounts - shopping list (like literal shopping list which is similar to writing on a freaking paper) useless app

Almost useless - I only use regularly the receipts section. Very little info on products. Using the offers is hard. You can add products to a list, but you cannot go from the list to the product. The list products are marked on the offers lists sometimes, not sure when, definitely not if you view the list on another phone, same credentials. Their cash registers do not show reductions until you confirm the order. So still two stars, albeit for different reasons.

I really like this app. Of all the supermarket loyalty apps I use - this one is by far the best: clear, easy to use and nicely set out. I've given 5 stars, but I do have a niggle though. In the digital receipts area can the LIDL development team make it so that if you want to keep all your starred receipts but get rid of all others you can delete them in one fell swoop? Otherwise, you have to go into every receipt separately to delete. Time consuming and annoying. Thank you

It does not work. After the update to Android 17 Beta, it sais that there is no internet connection, when it is not the case. I have received answer from support but it is of no help. the problem us not with the account, as I cannot even try to log in. I know that this is a Beta Android version, but there have been several updates (of the OS and the app) and the problem persists. This is the only App with this kind of problems, and I have plenty of them installed on my phone.

since a week they no longer show the regular discounts, only the Lidl Plus ones. I can flip through the folder, but that gives no option to put anything on my shopping list. Since this is the main reason I use this app, it's pretty useless now. Sure, Plus offers are nice, but that's just a fragment. And the reason I give 2 stars and not just 1. Also, the shopping list shows no information about the product anymore, not even a picture. Makes it hard to find the exact item while shopping.

useless nowadays - there used to be some disscounts, but in the past year it's mostly for items that cannot be found in store (daily items like bread, cheese, food,etc) . also, the worst part is that i accumulated 3000 points, transformed them into a voucher of 50 lei, then to see that it can be applied only for shopping baskets larger than 500 lei. i lost it cause it expired in 2 weeks or so.

Rarely works when I need it to at the till, on the car park it's fine, in store it's fine...get to the till and it gets a glitch. 'Offers' given are a poor match to my previous shopping. unable to add failed receipts after the fact, been duped several times buying the 'Offer' only for it to fail at the till. Much prefer a physical card.

The app stopped working after I upgraded to Android 17 Beta1: it constantly gives an error message "no internet". Reinstalling the app makes it worse: setting 1 is the country selection and the app does not allow to choose a country because it doesn't see the internet, nor on 5G nor on Wifi. When is Lidl going to provide an update? This is a clear actionable bug.

Disappointed staff do not ask for the app.Should be part of training...How are you today, do you have the Lidl app. Its the only shop I know who operate apps or loyalty card that I find this problem with. Other shops can scan your app/ card after you pay or another day, Aldi can't or won't. A range of necessary groceries included in the discounts often aren't available. offers end too quickly. I love that it stores my receipts, so I don't need to save the reams any more. No more lost receipts.

App works fine for coupons and a quick look at offers (although it's a mixed bag all on one page). Viewing leaflets is cumbersome though. Zooming in is clunky and moves around too slowly. While zoomed in on a leaflet, when you try to navigate upwards, the app pulls down the refresh action, which should only happen when you reach the top of the page.

Always liked the app but a recent decision to remove the ability to search digital receipts is just not acceptable. Lidl promote digital only receipts (there is a setting in the app and also checkout person will always ask if you want a receipt). for groceries it's fine but for any special but which may have up to 3 years warranty this is unacceptable. either they support digital receipts with a capability to find them later, or they don't. DO NOT remove working features. It frustrates CUSTOMERS

The app gives a confirmation beep when scanning at the till, but that beep does not reliably mean the scan has actually registered. In my case, the app appeared to scan normally, but the discounts were not applied and there was no clear way to recover after payment. If the scan fails, you may also be left without an electronic receipt. My advice is to always ask the cashier to confirm the scan has gone through, and always ask for a paper receipt.

stupid policy of requiring each individual coupon to be activated gets this app one star. Even when you exchange points for a coupon you have to go back and activate the coupon. Surprise! You can't activate a coupon after you've scanned the app at the till even if you haven't paid yet. Next time this happens I'm leaving the shopping at the till for Lidl to put back on the shelf. Simple solution for the developers- just adjust the app to automatically activate all available coupons.

Either you are trying to scam people, or this app works pretty bad. Coupons activated, double checked with even with the shop assistant if I took the correct products - yes. the Discounts were not applied. Lidl workers don't know why!!! I don't like being scammed, and it's not about that 1 € I could have saved, but about the principle.

I installed it, for the reduced EV rate. it takes £40 charge off you, then doesnt connect... then it takes 5 days to give you back your money. This has happened to me on 3 sites now. I have also since learned, from other customers at the charging points, the app never works for them either. I will not be using this app any more, or lidle ev charge points.

App stopped working (wouldnt open) after several years of use. Even after updating, then deleting and reinstalling (tried twice). "Oops there's a problem" repeatedly. Customer service bot hopeless, only referenced "recent update" and advised to do what I've referred to. Very disappointed. Will cost me £10 or £20 not being able to open vouchers.
