Came back after a few years. server is dead. the few players left are spread out over a bunch of servers. plenty of camps with 100+ players but only a handful of actives. maybe 5-6 active. and yet they're still putting all of their energy into pay to win items and outfits instead of merging servers. it's too grindy, and takes too long to catch up, and too little is being done to save this game. I thought about it, but I can't justify spending money on a dead game. 🤷♀️
Love this game! FPS style, zombie apocalypse, crafting, looting, storyline, interactions with live people and story characters. I mean everything is amazing! The graphics, are top notch, and the characters and enemies are really cool as well! Had a couple of bugs, like trying to put the extractor down still haven't been able to do this. But overall 5☆'s all th way!
I like the game but you have to do entirely too much stuff just to get something. I reached Manor Level 3 and unlocked the Uzi. Instead of just having it, I gotta build it which takes entirely too much stuff. Unlike other players, I don't pay for the best experience. Maybe you can make getting things easier for players that don't pay for things. Also I'm not sure if there's a story line. Other than that it's a cool game.
The overall concept and graphics is good, as well as the story. The reason I'm rating it so low, is because a few reasons. 1. this game is chopy and laggy af 2. Glitches constantly, especially when it comes to building and you dog companion 3. The main issue, however, is the constant disconnecting. I have 5g and no other issues of this on any other game. But this game is the most annoying son of a gun, when it comes to staying connected. And it randomly disconnects me from my wifi? Like 🤦♂️🤦
What we wanted but didn't know we wanted, it's not a finished product but it's a new twist on the survival crafting. If you enjoy the genre, it's there for you and as improvements are made and bugs fixed, it'll be even more enjoyable. This game also offers a lot of multiplayer features, less common in the genre- including cohabitation, teams, etc. It's not a perfect game, takes a little to learn the controls, but it's a great experience regardless.
The ambient audio is so soothing. the controls are great (for mobile). Only thing im confused on is why there isnt a page to show all badges and wealth you have accumulated (like a "wallet" page in the tablet you carry). I wanted to see how much gold i had aquired so far and couldnt find it unless i went to a shop. No problems so far, just a little tedious to get things done at times. Love the game. Thank You!
This Game is SOOOO fun, I love it, I am having a great time surviving in the world, you can build bases, craft, team up, and much more. If you don't like open world games, then this is not for you, but who doesn't! I can't really say anything else much besides even if your device is low end, you can choose the lower quality choice for less lag. There can be little mini times of lag, but only for maximum 3 seconds, and they don't happen often
After playing for about a week I realized this game is nothing but a repetitive grind. The progress is so slow it kills any fun. Do the same thing at the same times daily and get very little reward. Spend most of your time cutting trees. Limits on everything you do. Took me a week to get off the noob rifle.. and it'll take longer to get off this noob smg gun. Boring. Needs more variety in the early stages because it gets stale fast. Too long repeating the same exact thing over and over again.
I understand that this is a "mobile device game' , and I'm not knocking it. You've done an excellent job! Best iv'e played so-far. But, my only critiuqe would be that the gameplay is pretty much go where we tell you. There is no free explore, or finding things on your own. The whole game is pretty much non-interactive unless it's where you told us to go. There is no "free range". S..t any mo-fo can read directions, and put the square peg in the square hole
Fun game but kind of confusing. When you first start, you have to complete this path full of zombies at night while it's raining. It was hard cuz they dont allow to craft weapons (either that or I'm just a noob). So their is a hill kind of thing with many trees so you just have to walk along that area. Try not to fall. When you pass that it tells you to grab a weapon from of the ground. There are many from guns to knives, but dont get to excited the weapon ur supposed to grab is a bow and arrow.
Great game. There are a few minor glitches but overall solid and a lot to work with. Update: There is a LOT of material here. They have really created a mobile game that people want. The best part? No energy! You can play and explore for hours on end. It's like a Minecraft-LDOE fusion. Con: you may hit a roadblock if you don't want to pay. That's why I stopped playing and why my rating dropped.
People like to complain, thats all i feel when i read the reviews of this game. Only had it about a week, and can honestly say best game ive had on my phone. Period. Plenty to do, like crafting, fighting, scavenging, always more to explore. This game is tough though, especially getting used to controls and the way the game works. Customizable graphic options allow almost anyone to play. Im on Galaxy S9, my game looks like something from Ps3. Try it out, at least learn how to play first. Worth it
this is a great concept and it's a really addictive game. The main problem is i still can't chnage the language to English. I understand that it is not a simple task but still I hope we can have English soon. Also, I wish new weapons can be added. I think a powerful but low rate of fire weapon is still needed. I recommend you to add BFG-50. This gun is not that complicated and this makes it fit the theme. Please consider of my suggestions and thanks for the hard work you have done!
Well, it was good for some time only. The game runs on levels not skills. The zombies aren't even zombies. The guns don't work properly. The zombies some how contain some sort of intelligence to work an arm canon depending on it's type? Why is there one with paranormal powers? I expected better zombies not a terrible version of the flood mashed with ghosts. The craft items cost a lot of resource than they should. Pls lower the amount of space it takes up, some scripts in the coding aren't needed
This game has massive potential. 3d open world zombie game with crafting. runs great on my s25 but not excellent. lil buggy. lpop in textures and the audio is poorly optimized. like you're riding a motorcycle and hear nothing, but you can sometimes hear the rain. voice acting is good. story is interesting so far. combat is good. still in first missions. i hate the motorcycle controls. maybe its a skill issue. wish it were more like sprinting with axis control. I'll walk for now.
Excellent game! I love how I can built your home, and how you can craft your gear, healables, tools, weapons, clothes and food. The companion was a good idea, maybe consider different animals. It's a great game Netease! However, I would love the option to live on your own, like how we did in the Dev Zone temporarily, I didn't want to join a camp. Even though, joining a camp does help, I would still like the option to live on my own. Other than that, I love this game.
I was a little worried about how this game would play on a phone, & due to my experience with similar games, I almost didn't download it. I am glad I did! Game has console quality graphics, & the controls are easy to use. I am VERY impressed with this game. It's size is great, too. You must keep your hunger in check, as well as body temp. You hunt animals, veggies, & plants to cook & make food. Make weapons from iron ore, stone, & wood. As you advance new things open up for u to make and do.
I normally wouldn't give a positive review for a mobile game. That being said, LifeAfter is worth it. The game is a relatively decent third-person shooter with survival gathering/building mechanics. I have been playing with 0 financial investment (because I'm super poor) and so far it has been relatively painless. I haven't even noticed many ads. I have really been enjoying the way they handle camps (guilds/clans) and daily tasks. They encurage teamwork, and reward consistant activity.
great game, when it works. I really like the plot. and gameplay, but the controls are a little tricky, and all of the settings/help/guides are not easily found. instead of spending time to adjust those things, or fix bugs, they decided to add events and other fun things onto the game. which is fine, except, I would've prioritized solving problems. and the biggest issue I've had, is that I can only play while using wifi, it states"server connection error" if I attempt to play using device data.
When I first downloaded this game, I was worried it was going to be one of those apps that advertised to look cool on YouTube. But when I played on for the first time, I was wrong. It actually gives you a challenge unlike most mobile RPGs, meaning enemies that aren't easy, easier control over your character, and no auto guide for quests. Unfortunately there aren't many servers for players, which leads to lagging and crashes. but I feel this is where the goods out weigh the bad.
