Description

Identity Theft Protection is made easy with the LIFELOCK IDENTITY app and a NORTON 360 or LIFELOCK plan. These plans offer various features to help protect your identity, such as the LIFELOCK IDENTITY ALERT™ SYSTEM, which alerts you if your personal information is used in credit applications. Additionally, the plans include dark web monitoring, which continuously scans the dark web for your information and notifies you if it is found. In the unfortunate event that you become a victim of identity theft, the plans also provide access to US-based ID restoration specialists who will assist you in restoring your identity. Furthermore, the plans offer a Million Dollar Protection Package, which covers expenses related to identity theft, including legal fees and stolen funds. The ADVANTAGE and ULTIMATE PLUS plans offer additional features such as easy access to credit scores and reports, allowing you to monitor your credit information on a daily or monthly basis. These plans also include the ability to lock your TransUnion credit file with a single tap, providing an extra layer of security. Transaction monitoring is another feature offered by these plans, which keeps an eye on your bank, credit card, and retirement account activity. It is important to note that NORTON 360 plans without LifeLock only include dark web monitoring. The LIFELOCK IDENTITY ADVISOR plan includes dark web monitoring, breach notifications, and merchant resolution management, but does not include the Million Dollar Protection Package or additional alert features found in higher-tiered plans. It is also important to remember that while these plans offer comprehensive protection, no one can prevent all identity theft or cybercrime. In order to receive credit reports, scores, and/or credit monitoring features, your identity must be successfully verified with Equifax, and Equifax must be able to locate your credit file with sufficient credit history information. If these requirements are not met, you will not receive credit features from any bureau. The credit scores provided are VantageScore 3.0 credit scores based on data from Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. It is worth noting that different types of credit scores may be used by third parties to assess your creditworthiness.

NEW REVIEW: Unfortunately, the App has been very disappointing the more I've used it and "updates" have been done. It constantly errors and won't load Alerts in says are so urgent, has limitations on what it "thinks" account numbers should look. OLD REVIEW: So far so good. Great way to keep an eye on my credit score and personal accounts. Love the alert feature to that's me know of any inquiries into my credit or new credit cards or accounts. Feel I my interests are being looked after well.

when it send me an alert via email and or phone call, I go to the app to view the alert and it just says "webpage not available" so ... thanks for the alert that I cannot see. not sure what the point of having this is if I can't see what you are alerting me to. neat. also when I try click review activity from the email you send, it never lets me log on. I need to go through the app directly. while not the end of the world, it's inconvenient to say the least.

I can't even sign in to the app. Update after update, it keeps loading me back to the sign-in screen, they never fixed that. For almost a year, it's been like that. Uninstall, reinstall, cleared cache, cleared data, everything. Nothing. absolutely nothing works. I wouldn't even know if worked beforehand, because I've had the app for as long as I had this phone; since march of this year. I can't tell how easy it is to use the app, or my experience for the ads shown, because i can't use it.
