Lingo: Guess The Daily Word

Great game but the ads are out of control! Sometimes I find myself not playing simply because I don't want to mess with ads. I don't mind buying a game to get rid of ads, but monthly subscriptions to remove them irritate me! There are enough versions of similar games that I'm willing to search others in order to have a flat fee to buy the game instead of a monthly subscription.

overall good game, but after reaching golden letters and some diamond the game just drags. you need to earn coins but takes for ever to earn. I even saved up diamonds to 320 just to get 180,000 coins I mean it's just so slow and have just given up now.

I found the game decent. Ads are frequent and can be difficult to close though. The option of unlimited tickets for ten minutes for watching an ad is good however you use 3-4 minutes watching compulsory ads during this time so you only really get 3/4 games in before it runs out.

I left a three star review recently. I played the game again after a break of a few months to see if things had improved, but actually it's worse. And the issue -THE ADS. Unfortunately they make the game almost unplayable. I'm sure the ads would actually have more of an impact if they weren't so frequent, or so long. I'm sure nobody actually sits and watches these ridiculous ads, and I'm even more sure people we wouldn't purchase products based on them.

Basic word game with an obscene amount of advertisements. Only like the show in name only, no other similarities.

So far so good. a little bug that sometimes closes the game down but overall a good game for free if you know how to play. It could do with a mode that replicates the game show though.

Would be good but ads are so excessive. What annoys me the most is when I'm presented with an option to give up or watch an ad, since losing my streak, I just click give up, but then it will still show me an ad anyway before letting me play another one. yes this one is skippable after some time, but if I wanted to watch an ad, I would've clicked that button and not lost my streak? It would be a fun game but its enough to put me off.

Thoroughly enjoying the game. Super fun and anytime I get stuck, I can ask my mates and we would be sifting through the letters of the alphabet in our heads to get the answer, only to find out it is an obscure word or some simple word which can be amusing at times.🙃 😁 The downsides is that I lost all my progress on the app when I transfered my things onto a new phone and the amount of ads. Is it possible to add a save progress feature on the app so progress can't be lost? Thanks! :)

Could be a good game but too in your face. Big green arrows pointing to the next step to show you how to play are very annoying and condescending. Let me work it out, it's not rocket science. Give the choice of using a tutorial. Far too many ads and stupid pointless bingo between games. We just want to be able to play the word game. The music is also very loud and annoying. Couldn't see how to turn it off either. Uninstalled.

The actual guessing is fun, however it gets repetitive with words. The bingo after each game is pointless. And then when you eventually get a chest, you have to pay using diamonds to open, which if you don't have any means they sit there and extras get lost. There's also glitches when I choose the game I want, it takes a ticket but doesn't open and then I press and end up losing them and having to wait. Could be fun but needs progression to further rounds like the show.

Good but far too annoying with ad's, an ad before, during, after & even before you start a new game absolutely ridiculous. Lots of the words are repeated as if you only have so many words to choose from, plus lots of letters not even used. Needs to be a bit more widely used with letters & words. And lots of less adds, I understand ad's help make it free but the amount it ridiculous to the point I've not made 1 in app purchase due to the vat number of ad's. They are spoiling the game.

The ads are getting longer, much longer. Instead of 1 fairly short ad, I'm regularly bombarded with a double ad, neither of which are short. 1 ad is enough! The answer is to abandon playing whenever you see an ad & come back later. Long ads will backfire! The gameplay itself is good, but I rushed an answer, with an accidental misspelling & instead of offering me another chance by watching an ad, I lost a VERY long streak. What happened to being able to save your streak? I don't use it often.

Boring after a while as it takes forever to move on to the next level. Used diamonds to buy an extra bingo card and got all the correct numbers but only one full card registered, therfore a waste of diamonds! Words are repetitive. Keyboard is clumsy and picks up wrong letters. Way too many long ads. Can't see place on the scoreboard. Can't play against friends. Nothing like TV show which I love! Un installing now 😞

The actual Lingo game itself is ok, but there's too much peripheral nonsense going on e.g. collecting chests and bingo balls. I want to play Lingo, not bingo!! Also, the solutions are a bit repetitive - once you've played a few times you can start to guess the word even without eliminating possible letters because it's come up in a previous game, which makes it much less challenging. And there are LOADS of ads. Overall it's ok for passing the time, but could be much better.

I really like this, can't fault it except for excessive ads. I fully expect ads, it's only fair but unfortunately this has ridiculously long ads that you MUST interact with continually. Some even have the audacity to automatically open the Store app, then the ad continues once you get back to Lingo! With this sort of ad, the app deserves 2*. They're too much, too often. Getting rid of them would make this a 5* game. At least give a one time purchase option to stop ads. Subscriptions are greedy.

Way too many ad's, I have over 3000 coins can't buy anything it wont allow me to, even though I have enough coins! Can't open anything either. What's the point of the bingo, I do not know. The question I have is how do you switch of the noisy keypad in the game, I've tried everything but still it makes a noise meaning you can't play at night as wakes up your partner and is also very iritating. Such an enjoyable game made annoying by the most ridiculous annoyances! Sort the noisy keypad out!

Is this a beta version? So many things don't work. Lags heavily (for example when using a hint, so you select the same hint again and again, then all three happen at once but the time continues to run down). The coins received are already added to the bank before the graphic adds them (rendering it a pointless graphic). The stats are clearly inaccurate. Far too many repeated words, so the dictionary used isn't large enough. Unable to see where you place in the league tables, etc.

Great game, but not sure why the game suddenly decided I am -30 gems in debt?! You can't buy more gems with coins earned, which would surely be a logical option? This means you can't open any chests to claim any rewards, when you win a line in the bingo minigame at the end of each round you complete correctly. But, apart from this minor annoyance, it's a great game!

It's fun. Quite addictive. Until the ads burn you out. Ads after every 2 turns is tiring especially when they run for 30s or more. I even gave up 10min free games because it's just so tiring. Now, after 2 turns, I close app. Also, you cannot log in so your id is fixed and by device. U can't change your play name that's assigned to you. Try for fun. Ok for a while. Ps: consider adding a head to head. Now it's only the leaderboard.

Enjoyable game, but a few things ruin it a bit - not being able to just play as many games as you like - you have to wait for tickets to be refreshed or watch the same advert again and again for 10 minutes of play - the vocabulary is limited, have had quite a few duplicate words and the words febr - the letter keys on a phone are such that it's very easy to press the wrong letter, which becomes tiresome very quickly! - stats are wrong. Says I haven't got any right first time but I have.
