Livly Island

I adore this game, so much customization, and the livly's are adorable and unique. It's absolutely playable without actually having to pay which is big. Love that. Though it's a bit frustrating that you can't get rid of things you don't want, I know it's gacha style but I wish you could sell or get rid of things you don't want, because even when you exchange you can only swap duplicates.

great but greedy this game has become more and more predatory. I started iffy as free to play and now have been paying the monthly subscription for over 6 months and it no longer is enough. limited time events used to be more spread out now they're back to back. one of the most recent events was very scummy and people spent hundreds of dollars and recieved almost nothing for it. they said "rome wasn't built in a day" in response they have been less generous as time goes on.

Edit from 4 stars to 1: Normally this game is amazing, but I have to say support staff is lacking - to put it politely. Made a rather large purchase that I did not receive and their staff only utilized canned responses and offered no help or support. Resorted to a charge back, and will no longer support the game. The greed of the devs is crazy, and you see how bad it is the more you play. It's a shame, as it has so much potential and is truly a fun and adorable game.

It's great! there are some point where it might be harder to collect GP (the currency for the gachapon aspect which you can also get with real 💰) but you can still earn a lot from leveling up and even from visiting friends. also, it's a very peaceful and safe feeling game, people are so nice even if you don't speak the same language! you can give each other gifts or trade, and it's also just cute to have such neat creatures and so many styles for everyone! is gud gam. but it takes lots of space

I was hesitant to install this at first, seeing this being a gotcha game. But I'm glad I installed. even though there's a gotcha element, it doesn't really influence gameplay. There are outfits and decorations you can collect from different sets, and you can choose which aesthetic or theme to go after. You earn plenty of coins to buy these with, even without real money. Overall it reminds me of Tamagachi and Neopets crossed with a dress up doll game, but the pets poop gems

I love the simplicity of this game. Cute creatures and cute clothes. Definitely one of the most fairly priced games I've ever played. Lots of ways to earn currency and there's a trading system. Please, make it so we can trade items we don't have dupes of! That would make it way easier for everyone to get what they want. I wish we could open our own shops and submit our own designs. That would make me give this game 5 stars

This app game is calming, gentle, friendly place! The cosmetics you could need money to get, but complete beginner quest and you can get a good amount of free currency from the development (called Labatory). I am greatly liking the environment and the tranquility my island brings to my life, thank you Livly Island crew! Only complaint I have is the park is hard to follow! I don't know where to go.

It was a great game to play, however if you ever loose access to your account it is impossible to get back. You will need to know absolutely everything, date and time you joined to last logged on, last time you got and when you got it, where you frequently played the game, etc. They listed 11 impossible things to remember. I even provided a player would could verify it was my account and they still denied me. So if you ever log out, make sure to have your records if you ever want to play again.

I've been playing since, mid-February 2025, & already made such sweet, nice, & amazing friends!! This is the best, fake pet, game, I've ever played, lol. I will say, ya do have to buy, premium currency, 💲💱💲if you want fun decor/clothing. The app is smooth, cutesy, & updated regularly, & the devs are ON PROBLEMS, SUPER QUICK! The app is, Japanese based, but has a really great translator option, so you can talk to your friends.

for a gacha game, its really nice that I don't feel like I have to "win"- no one set makes the game more playable. most of it is aesthetics based. trading is also available if you get dupes. most gachas last 6 months, giving time to decide on what to pull. also, new sets every week which can overwhelm, but if you dont like the set you wont "need" it. some drawbacks- long loading times and crashes; some gachas are limited, and items can be priced very high; in game currency takes long to save.

the game overall is great. it's fun, the pets are cute, there's a wide variety of accessories, and the community is friendly. HOWEVER. the main currency of the game takes months to stock up on (to any useful amount), and everything that can be bought with it is SO EXPENSIVE. and since items can only be obtained through trading or gacha, you could spend a month saving up enough coins to do a ten-item pull, only to not get the item you wanted. it's very fun, but also very frustrating...

Absolutely adorable and fun game, only the notifications seem to be having trouble, unless it's for an event or an ad for something new in game. I have all of my notifications turned on, I've double checked and turned them all off and back on, but I'm still missing my tree during harvest. Update: A year of playing and notification issues have not improved.

It's cute, but you can only get 3 coins for every 10 points, so unless you play obsessively or buy the VERY overpriced in-game currency, you can't get anywhere. And- there is literally no way I've found to get your progress to a new device. They say there is, but I tried for a month. No help to be had. I even subscribed for 2 months. Total waste of money. It's been more than a year. No improvement on getting help fixing this issue yet.

I decided to try this game after seeing it in my "suggested games" tab. so glad I did. it took a bit to get hooked because I didn't quite understand it at first but now I am at 302 days and love it. the events are great, it's easy to gather GP, and even though there's a gatcha pawn factor, I found it doesn't really affect me or get me "addicted" to the point of wanting to spend my paycheck. sets are super cute and they stay for a while so there's plenty of time to save GP for draws. <3

I created my character and wrapped up the tutorial and then it gave me a parameter error and suspended my account with not other notice. This was my first time playing the game. Very disappointing, this game looked super cute. Edit: I'm not sure if this will be seen but I cannot open the game to get to the menu. As soon as I open the game the banned notification pops up and it closes. Is there another method I could reach at?

Normally this game feels pretty grindy as a mainly f2p player, but I dont really mind it. I enjoy the simplicity of it, watering my friends trees, feeding my pets, playing dress up with the items im able to get with the currency i make. I've made peace with the fact I wont be able to get everything i want. But this new event truly feels like a slap in the face. It is greedy beyond measure. The lack of a pity system is cruel. The way duplicated items work is a mess. I am so dissapointed.

Great slow pace game. No adds, which is the best part. Not only that, but while you can do in-app purchases, it's not necessary. However, I do have to say that some of the users are rude. And i'm not entirely sure how they're dealt with. They have a report option. I reported one of them but I wont know if it really did anything. The app is great. Users can be rude as in any other social setting

absolutely love the app, it's a pretty simple and fun game, it works ok on both my devices surprisingly and it's easy to figure things out. my only complaints would be that I wish we could trade none duplicate items too, that would make trading & getting rid of items I don't want much easier from the gacha pulls we don't like. I'm incredibly upset I lost my account simply because the app deleted. my password isn't working so all my progress was gone. maybe if it had another save it'll be 5 star

I have been having fun with this app for about half a year now! The outfits and backgrounds are so cute and lots of fun to put together! Easily holds my attention although I don't do in-app purchases. There are lots of fun events to look forward to every month! One improvement I would request is if they could implement the auto translate button also for friend names, island names, and the titles of the livly art pieces. I always wish I knew what these things translate to!

I've been playing daily for a year and a half. As time has gone on and as you progress in the game, they make it incredibly difficult to collect in-game currency without spending real money. If you spend real money on their subscription, have issues with it, and contact support about it, they'll tell you to just spend your in-game currency to fix the issue because support won't do anything. How lovely.
