Local Weather：Weather Forecast

Paid for full version so I could have the radar, but the graphics are spotty, and green/blue areas (rain/snow) often disappear, rather than show their progression. The current temp is accurate, but it almost always shows temps of 56 at 1pm, 58 at 2pm, even though it's not getting out of the 20s. There hasn't been an update to fix this, which I was really hoping they would've noticed by now. Please fix this, some of us paid for these features.

My original review was AWSOME! BUT...after one use, it would not let me use the radar at all and annoying adds started popping up! If that had not happened, my original review was... So far, this is the best weather app I have found (and I have tried a TON of them)! I love the look of it and the ease of use and that is gives me all of the weather information I could ever want in a super easy to find layout.

Great and easy to use, although the percent chance of precipitation can be off. It will say 5% in the morning for example, and when I notice it raining later that day, suddenly it changed to 90%. But very dependable if you need advance notice. Other than that, the display, temperature, and other functions are way better than other weather apps I've used before.

these guys are allowing very deceptive antivirus software programs to use scare advertisements telling you "you have a data breach" that comes up when you turn on your phone and you can't get it off of your screen without struggling to get to the home button. this is a very bad advertising, this weather app is very bad! The worst of the worst!

Forces you to play the demo version of a game every time you start the app, and it is not possible to get out of the demo except for finishing the game. the app itself looks slick with lots of features, but who wants to play a game every time you want tk check the weather?? therefore unusable because of the ads, uninstalled. not recommended.

Pretty good. I know what's going on with the weather and for how long. No bloat wear. No unexpected pop ups ,and distractions. You might be ready to go through the door, be on a schedule, and have annoying popups that not only distract you, but take up your time, mess up your launcher, and your appointment time, schedule. Who needs it when you have a simple up to Date Weather App like this one. No hassle, just weather.

The app is excellent and accurate for the weather, far more than a couple other apps I've tried. Tons of details. Perhaps even more importantly, the adverts are significantly less intrusive and obnoxious. The only thing I wish I could change is the widget options-- I'd like a larger clock and a more transparent background. But those are negligible gripes for an app that otherwise works great.

Great weather app! I finally got fed up with TWC app. The ads were annoying and they wanted a lot for a monthly subscription. So, I tried about 5-6 before finding this one. At first, I was a bit annoyed by the ads here as well, when I found out I could pay a one-time, less than a cup of coffee subscription and never see ads again, I was hooked! Thank you!

Unless you pay, ads pop up and you can't bypass that. I love the app except for that reason. I know you need to make some compensation, but those ads are way too long. I'm a little leery of paying $4.99 for an app when I can't find that much information about the developers. I dealt with ads on Weather Channel app because it didn't take forever to go the the weather page. I left them after the new update because it was horrible, so I'm shopping for another choice.

App started out great...nice graphics and easy to navigate. But the ads are incredibly annoying. Everytime I navigate to a new screen, one comes up that says "Final Step". I can close out easily enough, but it's a hassle. But worse was another one came up when I went back to Themes...it was a bible app that took a long time to finish, but then got me stuck in an endless loop to download it. No way to get out. Had to close app and reopen. That's a deal breaker!

I have been trying to find the perfect weather app over the last week or so and decided to try this one. Everything was looking good and thought I found the right one. That is until we had some bad storms coming and I wanted seer which direction the storms are going(at us or away from us). tried putting the radar into motion and nothing. only way you put radar in motion, you have to upgrade to premium. is $4.99 a lot- NO, but when others have it for free, why pay for it. went back WeatherBug

Installed yesterday. I'm impressed enough that I purchased the app to get rid of the ads. Very nice app. Good info. I have been looking for one that showed the dew point prediction. Dew point is the real indication of how muggy it feels. Something I'd like is a smaller widget option. A small circle showing the temp and a icon for current conditions would be perfect. I don't need to see the time.

Nice level of information and layout but you use this type of app for accuracy and that's where it gets fuzzy. It appears you can select very specific locations but the data is not necessarily specific and potentialy regional so temps can be wildly off in rural areas where the data may be coming from the largest nearby city. It would be nice to know which weather station's data is being used for the selected location. Also the widgits don't seem to stay put once installed. Disappears next day.

I downloaded a few apps at once to go along with one I pay for and this is the only free one I kept. This app seems to be right on with my weather, the notifications for rain, really signal if it's going to rain, which most that I downloaded did not. I'm hoping it is just as accurate for tornado season. I love the interface and all the options are easy to find and understand. I also love the seven day outlook and decided to add it to the widget.

The app provides good information. The ads are severely intrusive. So severe that when I clicked on a weather alert that had been issued, a full screen ad video popped up. Had to wait before the close X appeared. When I closed it, it took me out of the app to the play store download area of the app that was just advertised! I had to force close the app to go back in and read the alert. I was trying to test run this weather app before paying for it, but forget it. I'll find something else.

200+ vendors and partners want it use your data for "legitimate interest" and no option to deny all. Just going to uninstall. *edit for developer. I didn't mention ads. Was talking about cookies and data access request. I know I could spend the 20mins or so going through each option for each vendor /partner and turning them off but thats not something I am willing to do. I doesn't say what info it is wanting access to so it will not have any.

it's been difficult finding a decent, free weather app for Android. Weather Underground is gone. Accuweather used to work, now it doesn't. I thought this would work, but it only took a quick minute to realize it's terrible. The 'free' version is unusable with obnoxious ads that downloaded a ton of unwanted game apps on my phone. I don't like being strong armed into a purchase. Horrible app in the 'free' version.

So far best weather app! Colorful, useful, and choices! I wud like 2 see more widget choices esp size, make it customizable in everything be great! Putting temp nums up in notifications bar to run along w/ the screen being closed was awesome! I would love to see is no ads. There's overlap and its hard to read. If weather is raging I need to find the info quickly. I love how the backgrounds change as well as the widget according to weather and time of day. Best of all accurate weather reports

All the glowing reviews must be using the paid version. I clicked on the icon to play the radar loop and it prompted me to upgrade to premium. Living in Florida, I need to know where the thunderstorms are coming from and how fast they're moving. Both Weatherbug and my local TV station's weather app have this feature in the free version. Unacceptable and uninstalled.

Forecast seems to be pretty accurate, however the non paid version has an ad the moment you try to access, which is inconvenient...I just want the weather, I don't want to wait 15 sec to 1 full min to see it. (There is a one time fee for no ads forever supposedly.) It also runs in the background even tho I have that setting turned off if you select exact location when using app. ETA: I have since clicked on no location access and it stopped running in background.
