Loom – Screen and Cam Recorder

I have the paid version and it was great, until a couple months ago. Now my android app is NEVER working. I had 3 videos I tried to record last week, all less than 3 minutes, and they still aren't uploaded. I use my phone far more than the desktop version and have since I bought the subscription. This is a huge part of my business and this is getting completely ridiculous. My app is updated to most recent version. Recorded a video longer than 5 minutes and it disappeared. No warning when coming up to 5 min. Whole video gone. Recorded videos shorter than 5 minutes. Failed to process every single time (did 3 videos before I realized I couldn't play anything back). It doesn't do its basic use case correctly. Very disappointed; wish I didn't have to leave a 1 star but this deserves it.

The app is actually not the bad on moble! It not only records camera and audio but also it doesn't take up space when you recrd videos longer than 10 minutes. The issue with his app to me is that when I have video that are like 28 minutes long from 6-10 days ago it tells me "Faild to export video, check you wifi" But my wifi is fine and working. Then when recorder, it also shuts itself of randomly without even a warning, or some type of notification. After a while it gets irritating..

I have had a great experience recording meetings with Loom on my devices. I was especially pleased when I discovered I could record on my phone as well 👏👏👌 Pretty cool. Only downside is when there is a glitch while recording it no audio it would be helpful if there was a way to be notified that no audio is being recorded. It is disappointing to finish recording and discover there was no audio recording which defeats the purpose for recording 😕. Apart from that great application!

horrible. i needed to use it for one company who requested me to submit a video through it. the app automatically put me on a 24eur/month payment plan without my consent. when you try to change it to free plan, it does not allow it. good that I did not add payment details. it is very hard to cancel the subscription even with chatgpt. once you try doing that, it says that they will review my request in 3 days, as if canceling would not be up to me but them. do not ever download this scam!

I downloaded the app. Clicked create an account. It sent me to web, i created an account and sent me back to app. App sent back to web and appeared a 404 error. I clicked record a video and sent me play store, my app downloaded at the same time, and i turned to the start again. Bro what is this? Don't you know how to use deep linking? Take professional support because all of companies want loom link but I CAN'T TAKE IT

sometimes it works well and sometimes it works really slow. The app was created for IOs possibly but in Windows and Android the functions don't work in the best way. My recommendation is to put more work in the system operation of Windows and Android

Very bad experience I wanted to record an presentation on laptop Firstly there were some issues and I was getting redirect then after struggling when I switched the tab my camera/video pop ups were gone Thennn I downloaded the app the video was not getting download I even installed the phone app the video got downloaded but only the 1min video was good rest was just a burst worst experience

App is not as described. Deleting account is hard process and Not user friendly. It's screen recording app but you will auto subscribe per month plan. Also Cancelling subscription is hard part and also delete account too. Not good experience.

i have an account and a monthly membership but whenever i try and login on mobile it just says 404 error and doesnt log me in... probably gunna look for alternatives... its just annoying as I actually like the app.

I click record a loom and it cycles back to the app store. I click to open it in the app store and it asks me to sign in. I sign in and it does the same cycle. I needed this for a school assignment!!!

excellent for creating videos you can pause the video while you're recording it and continue to add more pieces and put together a decent recording to send to whatever employer you want

I thought of this being as a great replacement for a screen recorder. My first recording went great. But ever since, all of my recordings are unable to download, and/or just get randomly deleted permanently whenever I re-open the app. If this keeps happening then I will have to switch apps to record any videos.

have been a customer for years and all of a sudden I can't access the app on my phone, crashes immediately. I have the latest android update, restarted my phone and uninstalled and reinstalled the app

I love loom but you guys need to improve performance. Tina from the tech team told me that will be a focus now. it is slow loading your videos on the Android app, slow loading members area on your PC/comp and slow showing your content in general..once they load they play ok usually. please make it as fast as your front end. been asking this from 1 year almost. invaluable tool. especially from non-US locations! not all world revolves around the US data centers. thank you

Unusable. Crashes after login. Reinstalling or restarting doesn't help. I have a business + license and can't use it, please fix this!

Once a day I need to uninstall and reinstall this app. 404 error constantly. This has been going on for 6 months. it's astounding that this hasn't been fixed.

Great premise, just keeps crashing as soon as I try and open it on my Google Pixel 9. Very frustrating as it is a great tool.

omg. so glitchy. Soo many network issues although I am on 5g bruh 100mbps still my loom video took hours to upload. this could cause harm to those using the app for freaking job applications.

I loved this app till it kept crashing. I Uninstalled and reinstalled it and it still didn't work. Hope they get it fixed.
