Super glitchy! The remote only worked the first week. Even after buying a new battery, it still didn’t work. The app works when it wants to, and uninstalling doesn’t help. If I could return it, I would. The only way I could get it to work turning it on/off or changing colors through the app was by unplugging the lights from the outlet and plugging back in every single time. Smh.

Not sure if it's because I'm using Android or what, but this app is bordering on useless. I set a schedule for the lights to come on daily in the morning. They came on one morning but that was it. The lights are pretty and I like the option in the app to easily change colors but my phone won't connect to the light strip unless I turn off Bluetooth & the lights a couple of times. Too much of a hassle

This app sucks. It's too sensitive to the swipe to exit. Whenever you exit, it is a full close and it doesn't return to where you were. It frequently loses connection to the LEDs. The tree buttons are too small. When trying to expand the tree it usually switches the lights on/off. When trying to schedule auto on/off, there is no way to know which LED strip you are setting. I want to be able to set multiple on/off schedules for the same strip. The in app feedback submission doesn't work.

The options for the colors to switch through are very limited and you can't even choose custom colors for it to cycle through. Then the timer doesn't work at all. I've set the time I wanted the lights to turn on and off but it doesn't work and just turns off completely deleting any settings you made as if you didn't turn the timer on or customize it at all. Everything you can do on the app can be done on the remote easier, this app is a waste of storage and time.

From the rest of the reviews, looks to me like you guys need to fix this app the right way! My husband just received this night stand this morning which contains a light strip with your app on it. We CANNOT connect the device to the app AT ALL! You should be able to refresh to scan to find the device as thats how Bluetooth works and it DOESN'T WORK! The app is USELESS if the customer that bought the product can't connect it to the app!!!!

My experience with this app has been horrible. It doesn't work properly. I tried using the schedule feature and it failed to follow the set schedule and it will NOT allow me to change the schedule. Now, the lights turn on and off whenever it wants and I can't change it. Thus, I will NEVER AGAIN buy any products that include lights controlled by this app.

The app is horrible. The LED lights that came with the kit work fine. The controller's manual functions work fine. The remote stopped pairing with the controller about 5 months in. I have replaced the battery and tried to repair it several times without it working. I finally decided to download the app and it is horrible. It will not save timers. It disconnects from the lights. It will unpair itself. It can't find the controller. You cannot save or set multiple schedules. It's just bad.

As for connectivity itself, it seems solid. I can get on, control brightness, color, and presets just fine... That's about it though. The music doesn't have anything good (happy birthday and merry Christmas is all you get). It also heats up your phone like for some reason. Instead of just changing your lights to whatever you set, it actively stays on it in the background and as a result heard up your device

The lights work great, excellent concept. However, from the advertisement, it leads you to believe that you are able to customize the lights as you wish, but in reality, you are only able to select one solid color or from the very limited menu of presets offered. I wouldn't mind this so much if the preset options provided were good. Please make an update on your app and add more holiday color options.

I got the lights as an Easter present and then downloaded the app. I'd love to see more work go into the app, make it more responsive, have a way to have it sync to the music better but the one thing that needs to be fixed is the strobe function. If I set it to microphone, the disco lights turn the mic sensitivity all the way up that's an actual strobe, when I go to the "strobe settings" the fastest I can make the lights flash is about the speed of a turn signal. Please add more features

I didnt have anything bad to say until it completely forgot my lights. Ive re-downloaded it too many times for it to not remember. If there was a way to manually reconnect the lights I would be okay with it forgetting them. This is ridiculous. I dont have an issue with legit ANYTHING else. The schedule setting works great, the colors are nice, the color settings are nice it would be perfect if it would stop forgetting my lights!

The App works fine it connects and I can change the colors and mode also the brightness, the reason I'm only giving three stars is because the music portion of the app only has a small selection. now I personally think that that's a great idea! But there has to be more of a connection to the Internet for the music part. It would be really nice to see some of the music I actually like instead of already picked out songs that I don't even think I'll ever play. PS. If the app gets updated, 3->5 ⭐

Worked for one day. Now it keeps dropping connection and reconnecting over and over on its own. I can't control the lights at all. This was the app in the instructions of my light strip I was told to download. I've tried reinstalling the app, un and re-pairing to BT, unplugging and re plug in the LEDs, you name it. THIS APP IS GARBAGE! If I could give it 0 stars, I would.

Please add RED, WHITE, BLUE to your preset colors. Better yet allow the user to choose up to 3 of their own colors. The app doesn't do anything more than the remote that came with my lights. I wish I could do more of my own color setups. All the color changing options are preloaded so you're stuck with it. There is no Red, White, and Blue. Delete the music options and other stuff and focus on more of a personal setup. Unless there is an app out there I am not familiar with.

even after uninstalling and reinstalling, when I open the app and try to have it locate the light I have on, it doesn't. now the light is just stuck on a static color/brightness, and I can't adjust anything. and i think it *is* actually connected, because when I check the external mic (the one on the light), it seems to be working. but changing any colors doesn't do anything

The lights themselves are fine but the app is garbage. Slow, crashes alot, can't save presets, randomly turns off, the only music option is for downloaded files, and Bluetooth mandatory(good luck to your battery life), and I still haven't figured out how to just turn it off. If I didn't have to reset my settings everytime on start I wouldn't mind so bad, but for now this app is just barely usable. Not good, not even okay, just barely functional. For the money it's acceptable though.

It's ok but.... Maybe I got a set that doesn't work right, maybe it's operator error. I get blue, yellow and white only. The timer sometimes works. Other remotes for different appliances will change the light settings, made me laugh. Wish I could use all the colors it's suppose to have. Remote works for on off and switching between the 3 colors that work. That's about it. Sorta disappointed in this one.

The lights are great and the app was great too until it wasn't. The timer no longer works and doesn't stay set. I also would love to be able to organize the colors the way I want..... 3 colors for holidays I guess I can say but that isn't possible. I will for sure change my star rating if the timer starts to work again. The other part I've can live without.

Neat idea, but the connection is unreliable and difficult to manage - I was only able to get the connection working a handful of times. The color selection interface is great, but if the lights won't connect, what's the point? Also, it's super weird that the app requires permission to use my phone's GPS. Once the devs work out the bugs, this product at this price point would definitely earn 5 stars from me, but until then, I recommend prospective buyers look elsewhere.

Horrible and tragic that I cannot control the music player via bluetooth. No one can drive and switch songs by hand on their phone. I can't switch to the player to another bluetooth friendly music app. The only way is to use the microphone feature and play the better music app or USB. Also there is no way to play a Playlist. If you have a large music collection.. have fun scrolling from A-Z every time you want to switch to a song that starts with S.
