The deal offered would not scan. It also has a button that you can easily tap by accident, and it deletes a saved deal permanently. So they entice you in with a deal, then won't honor the deal. It isn't related to the gas pump at all. This deal was for a product inside the store and it would not give me the deal. It scanned my loyalty number just fine , but would not honor the deal
This app has come a very long way, with all of the great features. But it still needs to be tweaked just a little bit more. If I have $25.00 worth of rewards points on my card and no shower credits available. Why do I have to go inside the store to scan my card to pay for my shower instead of allowing the app to pull from my points. Instead the app is asking me if I want to pay from Google Pay. At the time I had plenty of points to pay. I don't need to use Google Pay.
it was great until this latest release. when you brought up the map and selected a Loves along your route, it would include the distance to that store. Now that information is not presented. Now you have to select directions, open your map, and click on directions there. Very impractical if you are already using navigation and just looking for something you have time to get to. I hope they rush this feature back since I used it all the time.
I installed this app in the hopes that it would reduce my time at the pump. It does not. It demands to know the pump number first, but should be last. I should be able to enter all the other info before I actually pull up to a pump. Also, it follows the same sequence of entering information that the pump does, meaning that it's going to ask me every time for my tractor number (which rarely changes), as well as my user ID and control number (both of which NEVER change, unless I change who I drive for). And on top of all that, as soon as I finish entering all that information, it replies "Transaction failed". Oh, and getting the app set up in the first place was a royal pain, and not intuitive at all, even with a call to customer service, and waiting in the queue for about 30 minutes. Until you fix these things, I'll never bother wasting any more time on it.
I love the new homescreen, it displays all the info I need in 1 spot. The only issue I have is with the app fuel pay. It takes so long to get through each and every prompt, it's about 3 minutes by the time I get the pump to activate. Better off just using the card instead of the app, as it doesn't offer any kind of convenience when fueling at all.
I've had this app for a few years now. And overall it's a good app. But recently I've noticed that it doesn't show profile info, like total points accumulated and it won't add forgotten points. I've spent a few thousand in fuel and in-store purchases, only to have the app tell me that an error occurred, that it's unable to add them and to try again later. But it's the same result over and over.
First-time tried to use the app, it acted like I didn't have internet and would not open the app, even though I had service because all of my other apps worked, could not get it to scan at the pump, and it asked for a barcode number in the app. Doesn't work for me. Will just use my other station discounts. No customer support on the weekends to call and store didn't know anything about the app.
Decent app, access to things we need. can redeem a shower, like most but also can redeem a free drink refill from the app which is highly convenient! The only problem is you're FORCED to enter a password EVERY. SINGLE. TIME you want to access something. In fact, recently I got a shower from the app and was in line waiting. After a little while I wanted to check the status and it forced me to log in AGAIN! With a password. App could be SO much better without that ridiculous feature!
Your app doesn't work. Doesn't show a barcode. When I enter my member phone number, it's not recognized. I'm literally looking at it from my profile. Way to hike prices and false advertise. Wish I didn't have to even give a star. And yes I reached out for customer service, but it does no good when there's no service when I need the help while at the business!!!!
all the deals are great, the app is smooth running and one of the best ones I use for rewards. actually probably the only one I use. it never crashes keeps track of everything I need it to. The Monday deals are my favvv they are always different and I'm always so excited to see the new one. I have a slight issue but it's nothing big, I feel like the deals should be changed sooner than they are. Some of them are on there for up to 2 months when something else useful could've already came through.
The app is a way for marketing to get personal information without ever actually having to pay the discount. Barcode scanning at the pump failed every single time. The store employee told me they have problems with that and told me to try more pumps. Considered walking around all the unused pumps, did try 5 of them, then decided that was stupid. Went to another gas station a 1/2 mile away and paid the same as my discount would have been. Deleting but will not get my data out of their system
As a truck driver, when I am planning my route and looking for a Love's store that may be many hours away from my location, due to the app not indicating the interstates, highways, roads, etc. makes it very frustrating, aggravating, and time-consuming to figure out what road the Love's store is on. The software needs to, at the very least, indicate the major highways
App is back to his old tricks again not giving you credit for the fuel you just purchased, but it shows in the receipts the free coffee and shower you just got in the store but doesn't give you the credit for the fuel you just got or show you the receipt. I even tried to uninstall and reinstall the app thinking it was a glitch that didn't work. I called customer service and they said they have to wait 48 hours before they can see it.
I had my fuel card hacked. After I got a new card, I got hacked again, only two weeks later. Now my company is saying that 90% of our fuel card fraud is through the app. Love's needs to get on their security. In the meantime, I'd strongly recommend that no one use the fuel pay section of the app. The rest of the app works fine, and probably won't be a problem.
I do like the app and it seems to work well. I don't like the new dark map, it was easier to see the previous version map when searching for stores on my route. I wish that I could add my credit card to my Love's Wallet and use it to purchase showers within the app, instead of needing Google Pay, which I don't use. This feature is available in other truck stop apps.
I had a card and it has been misplaced. I went to a sales clerk at the counter and asked about getting a new card. I was told by the associate to go online and install the app, which I already had done. The clerk told me that I could get purchases added to my account via the app. So, I paid prepaid gas and incidentals at the counter and had a barcode on the app scanned. Apparently, it hasn't been adding the points to my account. The sales clerks have zero knowledge. I would like my points.
It works ok, but sometimes it doesn't scan for the discount. I got it because it offers 10% off fuel. A couple changes, and it would be great. Don't block the bar code for the discount with a warning. I have to stand there patiently while the warning ( I have read many times) covers the barcode. Then the pump beeps like it read the barcode, but it doesn't give me the discount. Then I have time (while I read the warning once more) to pick up my wallet I dropped to get my phone out again.
Loved the mobile fueling feature, especially considering how much of my training time was conducted in the Midwest during the heart of Winter. I can't use it any more, though, because I was issued a Comdata Mastercard, for which your app's support is perpetually "Coming Soon." That's really my only gripe, but it's a big enough deal to warrant knocking 2 stars rather than just 1
constant issues!!! wont accept my loves card when i put it in, picture prompt works but still refuses card, errors, NO HELP, website is worse!! **update** finally got ahold of someone to assist. They put the card in and it went right in. For whatever reason, the app is not working when trying to set up or transfer a card. The website directs you to the app. The app just gives you errors, making it frustrating. Outside of that issue, it's been smooth sailing now.

Does not take my company fuel card. Doesn't always work on the deals, have had points taken off instead of the free offers. Just updated app and can't get the deals to pop up. ECT. Called customer service and all they could say is that the new update has a glitch and to give you time to work it out. In the mean time I don't get any of the deals that are on the app.
