This popup player is by far the best one ive tried and i plan on keeping it. Its a popup that gives you as much control over it as your regular video player. The features are very intuitive and easy to learn. The ui is beautiful. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and to you.

Won't play from an external drive...struggles with some formats...a constant error message when clicking on a video 'this media is not available to play' so it takes at least 2 attempts to play anything. Even so it has the potential to be a really good player but I think it was launched too soon. If these faults are fixed I'll definately try it again.

They got it to play Youtube again. It's good overall, but the pop-up window has so many toggles, if you touch it by accident in the wrong area, it'll mess everything up. For instance, if you come to move the pop-up viewer to a different area of the screen, you'll accidently hit the seek bar and the video will jump forward 20 min, or you'll accidently turn the volume up, etc.

For a pop-up player, it's second-to-none. The interface though leaves some things to be desired. Most notably the ability to sort: In the Video Gallery, the folder sorting is by either "Date Created" or "Date Modified" and this cannot be changed at all. So if you have a lot of folders to keep things organised, you're hunting through the entire list to find a specific folder. Files can be sorted by name in those folders but not the folders themselves for some reason beyond my understanding.

I personally love this app and enjoy using it. If I can make a suggestion. If you keep everything the same the layout the design but just add an option to have more than one popup player. Like the g player they have an option as to where you can play 6 to 8 videos at the same time. That would be dope with the way the layout is and how easy it is to resize the player your app would hands down be the best multi video popup player and would knock out all competition. Feel free to contact me

please make it possible to link to a specific video starting time frame point within the video time frame so we can set up Funny triggers like when i un-lock my phone a video will pop up and start playing at time frame 3:25 because that's where something funny happens! but also make it possible to set up a ending time frame point so the video knows where to stop and exit out. don't worry about the triggers. i will be using tasker or automate for that. i just need these functions 📌

One of the best apps, please make a reminder popup window remember resizing. I have to corner-drag the window to make it bigger on my phone screen all the time. This is so tiring men, if it's included in the pro version please make it available in the free version as well. Thank you.

My phone came with Android 13 Go installed. It doesn't include the standard PiP feature, so apps that utilize it (like the official YT app) can't display videos on top of other apps, just like many video players. Thankfully this app has its own PiP implementation and can play videos in the background too. Though UI upgrade can be nice.

It's great but i think it may add an option about default play mode, which can switch to set it like a normal player instead of flow above other apps mode. And I found it may crashed while change the playing speed ... And I'm not sure why it happened...hope a fix XD

I hate that stupid ass ad trick where it goes up and down from the bottom so you hit it by accident when trying to select something. On top of that, when you go back to the app it takes you to where you started. Yeah I quit right there just to write this bad review and try the alternative Pop up player.

Doesn't work at all. Wants to make phone calls instead of playing videos. Plays the sound (after enabling storage permissions manually in the phone settings), but still no video (even after giving it floating window permissions). Worst garbage I've seen.

Sucks. Edit: no, I was trying to run a movie hvec 10bit Blu-ray format which this player didn't work.. like many players out there, your app is simply a copy cat. I went with the App "CnX Player" which ran perfectly fine on hardware mode. BTW, I was a new user.

this isn't a hyperbole, I think I've tried 20 different players (most regarded as the best/most popular) and lua is the only one that gives you full control while in PIP mode. no other player in the market can adjust brightness, volume and window size like Lua for some god forsaken reason. with that said, I think Lua Player is the best. it's not as "s3xy" as others, and I think it actually needs a UI update because the controls are gigantic but functionality wise literally nothing like it!

... and after testing about a 100 video players during the last 100 days, i finally got you Lua Player! the best since the good ol' VLC! 😉A KJ's buddy! 6 galleries of simultaneous videos at click to play are handed down flawlessly! 😍 It's now a "must not forget to be installed member" of all my Android gadgets collection. 101 🌟s and salute goes to the genius developer. Meticulously done and highly recommended, Cheers! 🍻👍😁👍

Previous review said SMB does not work, I must correct that. It does indeed work, it's just different from others in that you must manually add a server rather than the app autodetecting any shares on the network. Once you do that, it works as advertised.

Great app. Solved all my transcript and editing issues. Easy to use and very fluent. No hitches, no ads, no stress. And best of all, it's offline. Hope to God it remains like this and even better. Kudos to the developers.🙏

Unfortunately, the update made no difference. The odd mkv may play but most just seem like they are forever buffering as those little ball thing move around. Avi and other formats seem to play fine. Perhaps I'll just convert my library to Avi.

Some important things missed, I can't use multiple audios at this player. Sometimes I need to change audios or subtitles(at vedios with multiple audio or subtitles). Please, make sure to add this function on the next update. Best of luck 🤞🏻

I am using jellybeans OS, the first redmi 1s model. I have tried installing many popular video players and none of them worked well, some were dragging and utilizing huge memory. Lua player is the only one which i found to work smoothly on my old android phone. Good setup gui interfaces. I would like to request the developers to keep the same current settings to support old phones, add up some features like tv/screen mirroring and a simple equaliser. Thankyou so much.
