I like that it gives me options to save money with Wait & Pay. But, I waited and got a ride, but then the driver canceled on me. I'm waiting for another driver, and nothing. So, I go to cancel to try another option, and they want to charge me for waiting at least 10 minutes!...I also had a driver that was 17 mins later than he was supposed to be, bc he was doing another ride on another app! AND the app won't let me give written review, just selection options.

I don't know if it's the area I live in or what, but I have had multiple terrible experiences with this app. One was during a large concert and I thought, okay, they were just overwhelmed, but just now on a normal Saturday morning, I watched my driver drive right past me without even thinking of stopping and it was taking forever to find a new driver. Even when working well, wait times are very long even at the priciest option. Quicker and easier to bother friends for a ride.

Don't bother trying to get a "wait and save", just wait for the fees to change yourself as it has a good chance of being ignored by drivers that are supposedly 4-6 minutes away. Don't spend the extra for price lock, it just deters drivers. I just spent over 2 hours for a "45 minute wait" that never even got picked up. Then they'll try to charge you a cancellation fee when you decide to finally give up. No support, just revolving FAQ bs. 2 stars only because most of the drivers are great.

I'm having issues leaving a custom tip - especially when I don't do it right away and I have to go back through history and try to add tip later! I hit custom tip, and then key it in and then save and it doesn't work! The only working option is to select one of the pre-defined tips! $2, $3, $5 or $0! In this case the ride was $8 and I don't feel like tipping $2 which is 25% as the minimum tipping amount! The custom feature tip does not work! This has been going on for several months!

this app is horrible. you may as well use a different one. it takes longer than it says every time. if you pick standard your waiting as long as wait and save anyway. I picked wait n save and got a driver right away 1 time but never on standard. it sends them the longest of routes also. it has quite a bit of bugs. why would you send them where the most traffic is. also the app exits sometimes and by the time you open it it costs more than it said 30 seconds ago. not good.

I used to love this app because the pricing was better than Uber(I had horrible experiences with this app) but now they're both the same, overpriced and inconsistent timing of arrival. It's gotten to the point that sometimes I can't even tip the drivers anymore. I got the membership to see if it'll actually help me out but the prices stay the same or cost even more.

I have unfortunately had the issue like many have, of drivers constantly canceling. I have 5 star ratings as a rider and never had this issue before. But the past two weeks they are just constantly canceling (3 drivers sometimes for 1 ride) making me late to my job no matter how early I try to leave. On top of that I have noticed the price jump.

Lyft driver will pickup you up maybe in 5 or 10 minutes after requesting ride in app. Driver brings you door to door to your evact destination. if there's a change or small adjustment it's okay. Instantly change it thru the app it's great. simple quick. I forgot got to add my gate code in my ride request. In the app there's no way to contact the driver. just got to keep it on the tracking map. You have arrived!!😁

This app is just terrible. I request a ride only for the driver to cancel then I have to end up waiting longer than before for a new driver to come. Secondly the prices for my destination are just ridiculous because it shouldn't cost $1Mill just to travel 5 minutes. I also feel like they set this up on purpose and it makes me late for work & I feel like my time is being played with. Definitely trying something new.

Extremely unreliable. If you order a wait and save, it will be there in 3 minutes. but if you order standard, it will take 10+ minutes. Don't have timed options if you're not going to follow them and waste money instead. Terrible hiring standard, as well. A 10-minute drive should NEVER cost $20. That's just disgusting. And on top of everything, they have upped their prices 3 times in the span of the 6 months I've been using this app. And someone should never have to wait over 30m to go 10m away

Why does pricing fluctuate (within 30 seconds of each other). Multiple times, I've gone to schedule the ride and see the price. I then have to figure out other aspects of the trip and switch to another app or do something else on my phone. When I come back to finish the scheduling (within a minute or less) it has magically jumped $5 or more. There's no reason for that, other than pathetic pricing bullcrap by Lyft. This isn't during peak times or anything. Probably won't use Lyft again.

Which jackass decided the app can cancel rides if it take too long, just to make your new ride take the same amount of time? its moronic and results in the rider having to order a ride at a higher price to arrive at the time you would have originally. The system is either incredibly flawed, or designed purposefully to force the rider to spend more money to go to the same destination.

I would give it 5 stars, but the app makes it hard to rate drivers. The tip option is front and center and I can never seem to find where I can rate them. If I leave the app open during the ride, I only have the tip option. If I click on the notification of arrival, it still only sends me to tip, not rate. And the option they give in their help section, to rate the driver after the ride, doesn't work. The option to rate seems to pop up as soon as I hit to send for the tip.

Lyft lies about pickup time & I don't like it! They will give you several options to choose from. Example. Option 1: Pickup time 7 minutes $20 Option 2: Pickup time 20 minutes (longer wait) $15 You choose Option 1 for a faster Pickup & more money. As soon as you selected now it says something like wait time 18 minutes! Thats NOT anything like the 7 minutes I was sold on! I could have simply paid less and waited 2 additional minutes! Its a deceitful money grab.

I try to use Lyft as it's tied to Delta. I tried to use it for multiple trips yesterday and each time, it would says there are lots of drivers in your area, 2 minutes away. when I set up the ride, it wouldn't find a driver in 5 minutes or more. On one ride, the driver was a minute away. and then he cancelled. it's literally all lies and smoke. just be honest.

It's not bad sometimes and the drivers are overall really good, but the app has gotten money hungry. I would check to see if the area im going to has sufficient drivers and the estimation of prices and it would be affordable at first. Then when I check 3-5 minutes to book, the price has gone up by $5-15 more. It's too much of a hassle sometimes, id rather take the risk driving or take the bus when I need to

Receipts for rides are confusing and terrible - my past rides in the app vs the emails I get for receipts on rides don't add up. this makes it unbelievably confusing to reconcile expense reports from business travel. I'll be using the other ride share option from now on. If you can't get your billing right why would I want to use your service? I've been hours trying to figure out the discrepancies and it makes no sense what's included or combined or missing

It's frustrating that when you need the service most for yourself or your loved ones, no driver accepts the ride, even when the fare is extremely high. But what was truly outrageous was that while I was waiting for confirmation, the app played a video advertisement for the Wicked movie three times. The ride isn't free; I'm paying for it, so I don't need to see any kind of ads while I'm waiting for confirmation for a service, especially when it's for a family member.

I used to love this app, but lately, it's been a nightmare. From the price changes to the dreaded driver details taking FOREVER to when you're at the second mark, you get an error to TRY AGAIN, and the price shoots up DOUBLE than it was less than 10 mins ago. Double the price! That's robbery! Then they stick you in a queue, so you're waiting. People have to work. We don't have time to wait yet another 15 mins for ride details. CANCEL! I tried Uber, No price changes, No driver details NO ISSUES!

Keeps lying about wait times, "priority" pickup is just more expensive for no benefit, if you cancel a ride for being double the predicted wait time and rebook the price can double or triple, the price will increase significantly if you just look away for long enough before confirming a booking. Drivers are usually fine but they're underpaid. Has resulted in me being late for work when I should have had plenty of time to wait for pickup and make it. Predatory pricing and policies.
