Was reading one of the stories recommended by an ad for the app. once you get past the free chapters, not only does the writing quality plummet, but the names changed and the grammar was atrocious. That's not even taking into account the way they make it almost impossible to read anything without spending money. which I can understand. Supporting the authors is important and I don't mind paying money for what I read. But I'm spending far more money per chapter than buying an actual book!
Very easy to navigate and has interesting stories. I am giving it a five so that I can get some of the free coins from the new user bonus. otherwise, I would give it a four star rating, simply because it can be very, very pushy, at times about purchasing coins to complete chapters. Sometimes it will pop up in the middle of the screen multiple times and it is difficult to click away.
I love reading terrible romance novels and I don't mind watching ads and reading a little bit every day. But this app doesn't give you the option to read after watching an ad, you have to pay for coins and the bonuses you get daily is only 5 coins, whereas each chapter is 110 coins to unlock. I would literally spend weeks saving up coins per tiny chapter. NOT WORGH IT. I understand the artists need compensation, but these books aren't very well written. Ad revenue should be enough.
I can't honestly give this a 5 star rating like the app insist in order to get points. It takes forever to earn enough coins/tokens/whatever in order to open a chapter. The chapters have extremely high cost to open, and I'm pretty sure the points expire after awhile as I'm missing some. You can't even watch ads to open chapters.
I downloaded this app to try it out. I got to read first few chapters then needed points to read any more chapters. I was only able to get 40 points which is NOT enough for even one chapter. one chapter cost 140 points!! Also the 4.99 top up is only 500 points with a new user 500 more points. that's only getting 6 chapters. seems like a lot of money for so little reading.
No. No. No. No. Avoid like the plague. Here is what you should know. Chapters cost 199 points each. Purchase 500 coins for $4.99 is the cheapest package. I was signed up for a package subscription after I bought a one time first time package and had to delete the subscription. There are between 5-10 ways to earn 5 points but you can't buy anything less that 199. I Uninstalled with 40 points remaining because it can't be used. They do offer 10 points for 5 star reviews, I declined that offer
There are several apps available where you can read fan fiction or short stories. This is among one of the worst apps of this kind I've tried. It is completely unnavigable without paying money or watching ads. Not even reading a story, just looking around the app is difficult without it shoving coin purchases and ads in your face. If you do select to watch an ad, it will inject another ad in the middle of the first, then you have to finish both. Just try any other story app.
The story I read from it was good, but the prices are too high, and they want you to start a subscription or keep paying $5 per about 3 pages, which aren't even full pages. The app keeps popping up with different books to read and it's altogether annoying. Nothing against the authors, it's just too expensive, and not really worth the money.
Another auto-subscription app using "top-up" to get subscriptions. While it finally shows you how many coins to unlock chapters, it doesn't actually matter because you're paying for a subscription. So the "coins" don't even matter & it's just a ploy to get you to spend more for something you literally already have, which is unlimited reading per subscription. Really underhanded & greedy to market it in such a deceitful way...
This app is horrible. All this app is good for is wasting both your time and money. I payed for the membership, and it didn't apply. After the second attempt (I know, I CHOSE to spend more money) it worked but loading of chapters takes way too much time, like I'm talking minutes, regardless of wifi or mobile network connection. Occasionally I need to force close and restart the app. And the ads for their little discount are unskippable and pop up at awful times.
Overly expensive for no reason. Short chapters that cost 200 coins or bonus a piece. I have 3 other reading apps that don't cost as much, the chapters are longer and the books are much smoother. I understand that these authors can't just give away their work, but there is no reason why one book should cost more than $20. That's absurd. I buy actual paperback or hardcover books for that. So beware of the cost for this app. It's a bit much.
Wretched and disappointing. I decided to download this app after reading a story in a Facebook ad. Only the first 3 chapters were free, so I immediately had to spend money to keep reading. I paid $15 thinking that like most other, simular apps, id get a decent amount of story for that much money. I got 9 chapters. That's it. I get that these apps are nothing more than cash grabs, but this is the worst, by far. I'm deleting immediately, which is a shame b/c I really wanted to read that story.
No complaints so far except just like most it isn't some free reading app! Only some chapters are free to a certain point, but then you either have to spend money or rack up free coins or bonus points to keep reading! As I've said before, if I have the money and I don't mind spending the cash on a good story then I will do so, but if not I will just wait. There are times I lose interest altogether, but when that happens I just start reading another book or something!
Spent money for coins and the app immediately stopped working and won't let me read anything. Will be getting a refund and deleting. Stories are predictable and silly, too many errors, expensive to read, but even still I invested to support authors and find something good. But can't access the app at all, it keeps saying to retry but won't open.
Like most of these book apps, it's ridiculously expensive. I could buy an entire book for what it costs for one chapter. Is it possible to give less than one star? Each very short chapter costs 199 coins or more. There is no way to "earn" even close to that amount in a reasonable amount of time. Uninstalling this app!!!👎👎👎👎👎
The story I downloaded this app to read is really good. likewise some of the other stories I read the first couple chapters of were also attention grabbing. However it took 30 seconds to read a whole chapter and each chapter cost 199 coins or more. I have lots of reading apps and even pay for those I feel are worth it but this is absolutely not worth it.
Not worth downloading. The stories are too expensive. You are given a daily check in, which will give you 5 points per day, and you can watch an ad for an extra 10 points. But the chapters cost 100+ points. Paying $50 to read a single novel is excessive. Especially when most of the stories have the same plot.
Chapters and Coins cost waaay too much. the stories are good, but they don't give enough bonus coins either. each Chapter is 199 coins. they don't give more than 125 bonus coins a day which mean I have to wait 2 or 3 days to read a couple chapters for free when I don't have money to buy coins. Overall total waste of money and reading time.
It is expensive. Link to get to it on my phone doesn't work. And when I finally downloaded app from web, darned thing still won't open. Think I'm giving up on this. Lots of others WAY less hassle. Am a little sorry I won't get to read the story I originally wanted to. But... life isn't perfect. And I guess from what I've seen here, I should be glad for the money I'm going to save.
Your chapters are ridiculously expensive, especially for stories that only have a handful of chapters. 191 coins for one chapter? Ridiculous. I am well aware that I could have gotten bonus coins in the app for giving you a five-star review, but I'm not going to lie to the people. And I know they don't cost that much because you "pay the authors and you pay for the copyrights" because most of the authors don't even though that their stories are on these apps.
