Magic Cross Stitch: Pixel Art

Honestly, this is my favorite coloring game other than Color By Numbers. Other than annoying ads, this is by far the best game I've found to keep me occupied. My only suggestion: Please add the option to hide pictures that have already been colored. It gets a little confusing trying to figure out if something has been completed or not, especially the "hard" pictures.

My only complaint is there is not an option to hide completed pictures in the main gallery like other apps. Otherwise, this is my favorite. I love that it actually looks like real stitches. Also, if you can add the feature where you can sign in with either Facebook or Google, that would be awesome! I have this app on both my android phone and iPad, but I'd love to be able to sign into it so I'm not coloring the same pictures on both.

The BEST cross stitch app! I have tried others and did not care for them. I like the easy, medium and hard options. I like to be able to color just the color that is selected. Lots of cute things to color. I like the ad gives you a "prize" if you opt to use it. I do wish that the selected areas to color were a florescent color because sometimes the areas are hard to find. Awesome app over all!

Best cross stitch app I came across so far. Love that it creates patterns for me out of my photos. I would really like to be able to zoom in close on the finished pieces though (like how ur able to zoom close while ur coloring). I also would love to see all the colors I used on my finished pieces as well, it is very helpful for when u went to make the pattern in real life. Please add these two ideas! I think they would be very helpful others as well. Good work and mechanics overall tho

I play several games made by Zimad but this is my favorite. It is just a "coloring" game but with cross-stitches that form the picture. It is fun to see the wee "x's" burst as you run your finger across your phone/tablet. FYI - I paid the $4.99 to keep my game time ad free. Totally worth the price! You can still see ads for bonus items.

Second review and still 5 stars! I already paid to remove ads before the update. You can now get a subscription to remove ads, get bonus canvases not available to others, and other perks. I think I'll be getting it in the future. You now obtain coins for completing pieces and can purchase certain canvases, stickers, and buffs! No more ad watching needed! (Unless you want to of course. I do sometimes for stickers. Lol) Keep up the great work team! Amazing job! Still a part of my nightly routine.

I have enjoyed this game for about a year. You do have to watch advertisements but they are not too bad and go quickly. I did buy the inexpensive package to get rid of most ads but mostly to be able to use the magnify glass. It helps to go to where you need to paint when you enlarge the picture without having to hand move all over the picture. I use my phone pencil to paint because of Arthritis and it works great! I like the variety of great pictures and colors. It is a good app! 👍

I don't know the last time I paid for no ads so fast! I love this game. It's now a part of my bedtime routine lol it's easy to get lost in the game and forget troubles of life. Adding a button to hide completed pieces would be neat, but it's not a deal breaker for me. The music is nice and i like the cute stickers you have to collect. Great job creators!

Best coloring game I've tried! Not interrupted by ads (with play pass) You get to scribble color instead of just clicking boxes like a typical color by number game. I've played this for hours without realizing (no limit on how much you can play with play pass!) It definitely brings back the fun of actually coloring instead of feeling like you're clicking boxes and buying gems.

This is a fairly good app. The only real complaint I have about it is the ads after every 20-30% of a picture you complete. It seems to give the option of watching an ad to increase the number of coins you get, but choosing to skip the ad and get fewer coins will still force you to watch the ad. If you're gonna offer that choice, make it so it's actually a choice between watching an ad or not.

Nice pictures. I hope that I can find the best ones that interests me the most. Definitely romantic, cute, artistic art, friendship and love. I love the ones that are more challenging that have more to it than just a little. Kid kinds aren't suitable for me. Grown up pictures is what I love. I love artistic pictures definitely the most. That's the way I am. Artistic! ❤

Very relaxing for sure. I like how many pictures there are and how you have dailies that keep you coming back to the game. I also love how you can submit your own pictures and set the difficulty for them! Though some criticisms I have about the app... It'd be nice if it played more than just the same music on loop. It's relaxing but the same music over and over gets kinda repetitive. Also the ad bubble gets a lil annoying. Also sometimes I'll try to scrub and it makes me move instead. But nice!

The game is fun to however, you can only do so many pictures in a row before your get your hands sore. There is also different but similar types of apps like this that have similar but different functions that are clearly shown to you when you compare and contrast them to each other. I have literally played everyone of them that I think exist. There is an even an application that I found prior to even knowing what this style of art therapy even was that locked in the screen so it cannot be moved

I like this app so far. I am an avid phone gamer and give many games a chance. I don't mind watching adds or paying when I have money. The only issue here is the screen moving while trying to fill multiple pixel squares, and ads popping up when I idle or in the middle of my work. May just be my phone. Over all the app is nice and relaxing if you like cross stitching but suck at it in real life like I do. It's an enjoyiable time killer.

The pictures are cute but there are waaaaay too many adds. I get in the middle of coloring a picture and there's an add then the screen freezes and the add freezes and I have to restart the app. The thing where you color as much as you can in 12 seconds doesn't work. This app needs lots of work. Even after updating it still has the same issues. If it continues I'll uninstall it, it supposed to be relaxing not frustrating.

I saw this on play pass and thought I'd give it a try, but they don't have it set up correctly in their system. When you click on an item in the store, it says free with play pass but it never activates... it just keeps loading. Ads still come up during and after puzzles. Play pass is a subscription I pay for... if it's going to be included then the app should honor it.

Many of the pictures are truely beautiful. The available tools make the process simple, or I can challenge myself by declining to use the tools. The ads are relatively unobtrusive, or they can be eliminated entirely for a small fee. Best of all, the "M. Cross Stitch" app by Zimad can be used to make a cross stitch pattern from any of my phone's gallery photos, a portrait of my son in Scottish regalia or a picture of my pet Chi-wienie dog. Download and enjoy!

It's nice, for what it is. It does everything it says it does. I really thought I was going to like it - I wanted to. I even paid to get rid of the ads. And I'm still glad I did, because it's a beautiful game and the developers did a great job. But at the end of the day, it's paint by numbers and it doesn't let one use any color other than the one whose number is in that box. I want the option of finding my own.

I would give it a 5, but... In the latest update, they added a feature to pay you coins as you are coloring the picture. It breaks the rhythm. And there is no way to turn it off. A feature that it really needs is a way to freeze the screen. Many times my stylus catches on the screen & it moves the entire screen. Other than those, it's a great coloring page!

Naw. Way too many ads. Was going to go ahead and play, but ads took it from 4 or 5 to a 2 or 3 star real quick. Now the AP just actually forced an ad or pay moment. When I watched the ad, I couldn't even select a level to start and it did another forced watch or pay. 1 star. Stay away unless you intend to pay for the ap. It is enjoyable but for all the above. I pay for content and games I like, but never once the game is just greedy and annoying like this one.
