These were great at first, but... After a few months of owning these I've had my bulbs go offline for no reason. This usually happens in the middle of the night, so I get waken up by the bulbs turning on to 100%. It's become a huge pain because the bulb then has to be re-added to all the different presets. The bulbs go offline almost every week now :( Update: I was able to get a support message out, but now when I click "support" it breaks the app. The error message is im german also.

I'm not sure what happened, but light bulbs just stopped working. disconnect all time and reset settings. I tried new bulbs and different lamps, the same issue. light keeps flashing every 3 mins. also notice that light bulbs become hot fast. was working fine for the last couple of years. but right now, I can't use it. I'm not sure if there are any updates made. but please fix it. also, when trying to apply local mode, it gives an error: failed to settings, try again.

The lamp that I use this with has a lot of capability and so does the app. The lamp also comes with a remote control. But although the app does far more than what I need, the most basic thing I need is to be able to set the light to the color temperature of the rest of my lamps, be able to turn it on or off, dim it, and use it for everyday lighting. With the remote control, I can easily press a button to select my desired color temperature. With the app, something so basic is where?

The app itself is not terrible, but the lightbulbs suck. If you haven't opened the packaging yet, return them for a refund. Update 9/1/23: Connecting these light bulbs to your wifi is an exercise in misery. Once you get them installed, pray that they never disconnect and don't ever, ever switch out your router or modem. It will take hours, literally, to reconnect the bulbs. I've given up and will just flip switches from now on.

You'll have the error messages memorized. Spent 2 hours trying to get 3 bulbs connected. I got one done. For all the others, nothing but errors. Over and over and over. Looks like I have 10 useless bulbs. Edit: While I still got many errors, I did get all the bulbs working. Upgraded to 4 stars since the connection process can still quite difficult.

I have been using one of these bulbs for a year. I reconnected it and suddenly THE LIGHT TURNS ON BY ITSELF AT RANDOM. The power supply is fine, the internet is fine, like I said, I've been using it for a year and nothing's changed. The light wakes me up by turning on randomly at 5am. They don't stay OFF when I press OFF. Support isn't helping me fix the issue and they say it's a "default security setting that can't be changed". DON'T BUY THESE PRODUCTS! Return them if it's not too late.

App was working great. I had been very pleased with it as well as the bulbs. Then I updated it. Crashes during launch attempt almost every time. While it is attempting to launch, my phone is locked. Usually on a black screen. If it decides to work, and the light I'm wanting to change happens to be one the app chooses to communicate with, then i can make one change. Only one. Not even a second action with the same light. (ex: Power on, but no changing color or brightness) Locks again.

It's OK but the Timer is a bit difficult to work with. The sunrise/sunset Timer didn't work at the right times, no matter what I did. I wound up having to set two times for turning on: one to set a low starting brightness and one to set for full brightness. Then I just reversed that to turn off in the evening. It also doesn't recognize colors. I use this on a light that has red and blue colors with white and it only recognizes brightness. I am not able to set the colors.

UPDATE - after contacting the developers by email, I was able to get the controller to connect to our router by removing the cover with a putty knife. Apparently the antenna is very low power and was not able to pick up the wifi signal. After programming the controller, I replaced the cover and it is working well. I'm not sure if I'll have to repeat this if the power goes out, I guess we'll see. Original review: I was able to get the smart controller connected to my Eero router once after several tries. However, after unplugging it, I haven't been able to reconnect. I've been through the whole troubleshooting list several times (restarting router, resetting device, etc). I had it set up 1 foot away from my dual-band router, but keep getting "connection failed".

Overall, Its ok This app is great but doesn't work well with multiple controllers at the same time and always disconnects. Additionaly, only downloaded music can be played and to play a song, there is a huge list that isnt in any order with no search bar, and i have about 5000 songs. There needs to be a way to take sound output from different apps and base the colors off of that, instead of this terrible music player. More importantly though, please make multiple controllers work at the same time. Also, when it says to select your wifi, mine was listed 4 times, and with no strength meter, i couldn,t tell which one was the closer router and best one to pick.

Overall, not a bad product (when it works), but it's one of those "you get what you pay for" type of situations. Initially, this worked well, but light switches have to be left on at all times. If the switch is ever turned off, you may or may not EVER get it connected properly again for use through a smart speaker. However, you can still open the app and operate them through your phone. If you requiresomething hassle-free, just get proprietary smart devices for your home smart system.

Cool at first. It was relatively easy to connect once I read the directions about the controller and phone being connected to the same 2.4 network. But right now, about a month later, lights wouldn't turn on using the remote as they had before. Trying to control now using the app, controller is offline. Tried resetting... now can't connect at all. Lights are just cycling through the colors.

Bought the LEDs to use with this app. Wanted to use it to wake up with, simulating a sunrise. It is IMPOSSIBLE to set an alarm to turn ANY color light on gradually. False advertising! The lights turn on full power instantly. Additionally, you can't use your custom colors unless you turn them on manually. HORRIBLE application. Stay away from it!

Pretty good but needs work... Overall I really like the app and lightbulbs. My complaints are that getting all the lights synced to the app can be annoying. If someone turns the light switch off then it can be a huge pain to get it synced up again, so once everything is connected to the app, keep the switch on and use the app and timer to turn off/on. I like that I can create custom functions, but there is no option to choose it when setting the timer. Lastly, orange color is impossible to get

The app works, and although there are some UI/UX things that are rough around the edges, it's learnable. A little patience goes a long way rather than raging thinking it doesn't work right (below). The one thing I am concerned with is that it seems the app stores your modem/router's password in plain text, as it populates from memory in plain text after you first sign in with it. That leads me to believe it doesn't use a hash or token system like most other apps do. Might not be the biggest security issue in the world, but I hope that more regard is taken towards security in other areas of the app/light system in general.

It's probably one of the poorest designed apps. My RGB lights only connect to it if I disconnect my phone from my home Wi-Fi and then connect to the RGB lights themselves through the Wi-Fi connection. Even then it was very sketchy trying to set up. honestly, I recommend keeping the remotes for all of your RGB lighting and not using this app.

I can see the Nexlux YPL0064M LED light strip on my wifi network. It connects! The stupid app refuses to detect it and the developers fail to provide any manual connection options such as manually providing the IP on the network. I know the IP the Nexlux LED strip is getting. I can see it from my router, easily. The app just gives dumb troubleshooting steps that don't apply at all to this situation. The developer needs to provide a manual IP entry / Advanced setup for those of us that know how to see the wifi lights on the network so you can stop wasting my time here. I FINALLY got the app to detect the connected LED strip after WAY too many attempts / factory resets of the LED bulbs. Finally on the failure screen I just let it sit there for a while after retrying a few times and let it sit, and let it sit... and it popped up with a controller device name screen. So stupid. Just make the timeout longer if you need it to be longer OR provide a manual IP address input so I don't have to wait at all. I could just enter the IP of the lights and have had it added right away.

I use this app exclusively to turn my lights on and off. Let that tell you how often I use it. It doesn't work very well, but what it does do correctly is pretty cool. I don't know if it's the hardware not working well with the software or just poor sw but: TL;DR: the connections to the bulbs constantly need to be refreshed for it to function and that essentially eliminates the Alexa integration.

I never had a problem till the last few days all of the sudden my lights keep disconnecting then won't reconnect. I've been sitting here for a while trying to reconnect I had to do the same thing last night... obviously you see your reviews FIX the APP and don't send blanket responses when people have complaints...maybe actually fix the problem since with all the reviews it shows that you have a real issue lately...or do you just want to go out of business?

Has been working well and can control the lights with no issues. Being able to manually set the RGB values is nice and custom scenes are finally useable on scenes. I wish you could easily preview the colors while setting up a scene without having to back out all the way back to the main menu. Otherwise, everything works as needed. Server issues seem to relate more to the router as I've had no issues as of late with controlling the lights via anu assistant.
