Magic Money - a better way to

This app doesn't work. I went to a festival and some rides required this app so I put money on it and created an account. The app wouldn't the load the festival to connect the money so I lost the money. I tried to contact them via email and the email bounced back. So it seems pretty fraudulent to me. I don't recommend.

Broken app! Location services didn't work--shows the fair I'm at 6000 miles away. Doesn't accept Google Pay. Disables pasting a credit card number, and after I painfully typed it in, it said something like "merchant not supported". Can't really get much worse. Don't bother.

THIS APP IS A SCAM!!!!! Don't trust it!!!!! If you must download it, only load the BARE amount of money!!! The way this app makes money is by you loading too much money on it, and you're not allowed to take out the rest of your money! Your unused money is TRAPPED in the app, until they eventually take all of it! This happens within a matter of months, so there's no chance of reusing the rest at the next big event!

I can't even get past the access location bit! It won't let me click on ANYTHING and everytime I try to add something, nope access location and explore events :/ There's an event I want to go to today and this is the only way they accept payment. Upsetting.

This app definitely needs to be updated. App would open but wouldn't give me access to my Bands/Cards. I would add card to account and app would say card was already added yet it wouldn't show up under Bands/Cards link. I personally think this app is a waste of time.

Worst system ever. Specifically designed to steal your money. Each card is its own balance and no way to combine. Lose a card and you are hosed. Adding a card to the app does zero other than show you your balance. Lose a card and pause it pauses all your cards. Don't use this

Nothing loads at all, even after refreshing as well as reinstalling. Was unable to use the app due to no events showing up, during the event that was actively happening and my location permission turned on, and could not load a card.

Completely useless app. Opens to blank page and no matter how many times you refresh it won't load any events. You can't use any features of the app until you select an event - of which there are none shown.

The app stopped working while I was at a fair. I couldn't check or use my balance, it kept asking me to upload my profile picture even though I had already done that and used it twice. I don't know how much money I lost. Terrible experience.

A $1 convenience fee is added to all purchases on the app. This junk fee is absolutely unnecessary considering the horrible state of the app. Pay more for less! The sketchy carnival ride way apparently

It won't let me access cards from the past to see how much is on them. The QR code on the card doesn't even do anything. And there is no feature to just check the card without adding it to a fair. Total scam!

App worked fine last year, but now I can't login through Facebook or Google, and I can't make a new account because my email address is associated with one of those logins. Excellent work, folks.

So i first added my card to my account and it said invalid. For all those who it say invalid maybe it is from a different account or different fair. I was pissed at first because it did the same. But i had to change my event to the correct one and all my cards loaded. Even tho it said my event was miles away it pulled it up. Check all events and see if it is already added. If not then someone has it on their account amd you cant add it cause it is already in an account.

This isn't working the state fair isn't even listed or even open and I loaded $200 dollars on here soooo I'm trying to make sure it's valid and it works before we go. I even reset my phone n now I'm on a another network trying to get the damn thing to work so so far?? I'd say this card sucks n now I'm out $200 n we can just try to swipe it n I'ma be pissed if my kids can't ride cuz of this whatever the problem is. So no stars more like negative stars.

Do not use this app or any place that uses this app for payment. The vendors can rip you off and the company and the app will not do anything to help you. You might as well just throw your money in the trash cuz you will get ripped off by this company as well as the vendors that use it.

Dont waste your time! This app is dumb! Wish I could give it zero stars. Automatically selects a Texas fair when I live in Iowa. Won't save when I choose my fair. Tells me my card is already in my account when I scan it, and it's not.

Useless app. It won't do anything. Just opens to a blank page. I cleared the cache and Uninstalled and reinstalled it and it still won't work.

I couldn't use the 'sign in with Google' option so I just manually typed everything out to make an account. Tried to find the fair I was at on the events list but couldn't find it. 🤷‍♀️

Bought $50 tickets and it showed no credits every time we went to use the band at our local fair. No one seemed to be able to help was just told we didn't buy any. My bank account says otherwise. Disputing.

Even with locations turned on, app would not recognize festival. Also when entering card, app states card/band added but no cards have been added.
