This app is so incredibly bad because of the ads. Even if you sit through the multiple annoying ads, some of them will be cropped where you can't even click the x to close it out!! And then you have to restart the app and what you were doing hoping you get an ad that doesnt crop out the x and make it impossible to use but 9 out of 10 times, it is still impossible. I can barely use it so I can't really tell you if the actual substance of the app is good or not.

The app was great at first, but after the most recent update all of my widgets disappeared! I tried to add them back but it won't let me add any in without buying a membership. Not worth it. I tried everything to fix the issue but I still can't add any. I read some reviews and some other people are having the same problem. If you're having the same problem, I recommend just deleting the app altogether as it's unfortunately not fixable.

Got a new phone and wanted to customize it like I did my old one. Came back just to find the developers have become greedy and added millions of ads into the app. Want to change the background photo of a widget? 30 second ad. Want to add the widget to your homescreen? 30 second ad. Even getting ads just by browsing through the app. The best part is that the widget barely works and it ends up losing all my work. Extremely disappointed.

After a while of using this app, at first it was really good and easy to use, but now it's far too glitchy and not worth it. The widgets dissappear after a while, and they recently added a thing where you have to pay or watch an ad to make a custom widget. Not worth the trouble it makes you go through for a single widget. Also plays ads at random times, even when browsing files.

The app has pretty good widgets except for the fact that every 2-3 days they will dissapeer. I will check in my camera roll to see if I deleted them but there still there it's just the widgets. Another thing is how you have to watch an add each time you want one so it will take a good 10 minutes just to create a widget and then actually place it just for it to dissapeer 2 days later. I would say it was good but it really got me upset on how they kept disappearing.

This app is virtually unusable. Every action needs to be completed with an ad. Otherwise, it won't go through, and ads are repetitive and pop up randomly. Not to mention that whenever I even accidentially click on my uploaded widgets after an unnecessary amount of work, they all completely disappear, and I need to re-upload them all over again. A complete waste of space, if I could put zero stars, I would.

Dogshit. Been using it for half a year and it was working well, but yesterday it started glitching out and got rid of all the widget photos. No matter, I replaced them, but the next day, they were gone. There's a god load of ads too, an ad for each custom photo and another one for each widget you put in. You're better off looking for a different app.

this app is really reliable for those phones that aren't that customizable, but there are some few problems ; (1). often widgets disappear and it takes so long to load, forcing me to delete the widgets and add it again. "reload widgets" option would be a big help. (2). when you delete the picture/gif that you used for the widgets imported from your gallery, the widgets will eventually disappear, this is a problem for low storage devices. overall just #1 bothers me the most but please fix this.

The ads. They are triggered & mandatory for almost everything, including browsing. So once I realized the ads would be even after you watched MORE ads to get it installed on the home page, I got angry. I required a simple checklist. but since the app provides it instead of a trusted pre-existing app, everytime you add or interact with the list, it trigger ads. Update: IT GOT WORSE. The tasks have a 50 character limit & even with that, THE TASK CONTENTS ARE STILL CUT SHORT & UNREADABLE. 1☆

I was satisfied before because I wanted gifs on my home screen and I got them. However, they kept disappearing every few days as if I had never made widgets to begin with. Since they did eventually come back I decided to keep the app. It's been over a week and my widgets have disappeared. The only reason I kept the app is because it still worked but if my widgets are gonna be gone for so long I might as well uninstall it.

Magic Widgets is a really good app if you want cute widgets on your phone. However, there is some issues. There's quite limited options for backgrounds and you have to pay just to get them. Maybe its just my phone, but the images take so long to load and there's tons of ads. Despite these problems, I think it's a good app. Everything else is easy to customize, and the widgets look really good. Highly recommend.

I used to have this app before and it didn't have as many ads as now. The amount ads you have to watch for a singular widget is so unnecessary. And after a month or so the widgets in my homescreen just disappeared. It's easy to use but so many ads. And even tho you're scrolling through your phone to find a photo in the app it gives you an ad for no reason. So this review is here mostly because of the amount of ads you have to watch.

Decent app! Does the job, lots of layouts, runs smoothly, 5/5. But the ads... Jesus Christ the ads. You have to watch an ad to make a widget. You have to watch an ad to select a picture. You have to watch another ad to save the widget. Half of the time the widgets show up clear anyway. It works, there's just too many adverts.

there are some things you need to fix, this app was really good and is still my go to app, but it made a really bad downfall, I understand some ads need to be in there but I shouldn't have to watch one every time I make a widget, the app gets really glitchy and it deletes my pictures for no reason even though I didn't delete the image myself, this is something you should definitely fix l, othe wise I really like this app, and it's still really nice a does what I want it to do.

It was all great until today, I changed my theme of the widgets and for some reason they keep disappearing, i did them again and wasted another hour because of the long ads and it disappeared again. I don't know if it's my phone's fault or the apps fault. They disappeared not even after an hour of me trying to get them back.

This app used to be really good. There wasn't any ads at all even while you were making your own widget. Now they're just desperate for money. You need to watch like 3 ads just to make a widget which you can pay a subscription if you don't want any ads. I went back to the app today and now there's coins?? It doesn't even save the widgets if you restart your phone. Don't get this app it's a waste of time

I really loved this app, I think it was the first thing I downloaded when I first got my phone. I liked and didn't even realize that it didn't play ads for me to do widgets, but now that has changed. Plus, the widgets also just say "Tap to add widget" when I already made one. I'm forced to restart my phone over and over just for them to show. Can that be fixed by any chance?

Remember used this app a few months back. It needs payment just to create more widget. I don't think that's worth the price to pay bcoz I only need to have access to create unlimited widget. The image, style, fonts... that's nothing coz i don't bother to use it at all. But restricting how many widget we can use? That's too much. 🤦‍♂️

At first I was really impressed with this app, besides the ridiculous amount of ads, but after a few months of having it the widgets would go invisible for a while and come back. I've had it for over a year now and the widgets will go invisible and won't go back to normal, and they will change to different pictures you have saved. I'm super dissapointed with this app because it's super rare to find a decent widget app for Androids and I thought I found one. Pleaae fix this!!!

When I first started using this app, is a really nice app because of the different types of widget. And I can make my own ones, as time pass this app got a bunch of unnecessary ads. And after I'm done make my widgets I can't even add to my home screen anymore after watching a bunch of ads, as time pass this app is totally not working anymore I think you just want us to pay money. I'm going to uninstall this app.
