Magnifying Glass + Flashlight

It's the best one I've experienced so far!! It warns you of its ads too! I hate it when it pops up, but hey, you were warned. It's not difficult to use. It's for free and it works. I've used other free magnifying apps as well that also have ads for its app, but this has so, so few as compared with other apps that i really dont understand why the negative critiques. If they can build a better mouse trap.......they'd better try. Lovely Melissa is also treasure, and she's also very helpful, too!

Great app! I've used it on a lot of situations, but the best use was one I hadn't anticipated: Sometimes I need to look now whether a container of food is expired. Those stamps are often so faint and tiny that they're impossible to read UNLESS I use this app, which displays them clear as day. It's small and efficient and, while it does have ads, for the most part not very intrusive. It's on my list of apps to load on every new phone.

On the plus side, this app makes it really easy to magnify and enhance things, like menus in dark restaurants. It's nice being able to turn the flashlight on and off as needed right from the magnifier screen. On the minus side, it's not at all clear what some of the controls and modes do; a good example is "crystal clear mode", which produces no change that I can see whether it's on or off. The display aspect ratio is off, making it rather disconcerting to look at faces.

Better then i expected, ended up buying So after using this about once a week for a couple of weeks, I have found myself impressed with how intuitive it is to make quick adjustments to the zoom and screen brightness. All the settings you would need are very easily accessible. You are also not encumbered with ads. when trying to use this app. There are ads, but you can remove them for 30 days just by watching an advertisement. overall it's been so good. I just ended up buying it out right.

This is great! I have no idea how they do it, but this app adds a macro lens to my phone. I can use it to see fine details better, but can also do macro photography of ANYTHING! I was concerned about jitter and holding it still enough, but that rarely is a problem - especially with flash. It opens a whole new world of photography. Only downside are the ads.

This app has turned into my right hand. I have difficult seeing small print and this is my go to every time! Love it! I have used it for a very long time and install it on every phone! Just wish they could scale back the ads a little. I know it's not free to keep it up and running but, it would be so great if you could dial back the ads just a little.

It's an awesome app , especially if you collect coins or stamps. You got your phone in your pocket anyway. How often do you carry around a magnifying glass. Plus, it takes pictures and saves it. Even the free version is cool because they don't blow you up with a lot of adds like some apps do. If I could only choose 5 apps for my phone, this one definitely no doubt would make the list.

Best I have found I have tried a number and for my use this is best. The magnification adjustment is a slider up and down right hand side of the screen. Since I have a book style cover I can adjust with the same hand holding the phone. The light can be set to turn on automatically when the app is opened and the camera is reversible so you don't need a flashlight app and a mirror app saving hard drive space.

Still the greatest as of Jan. 2022! Greatest app ever! Tried other magnifying apps and they were horrible. I used to try to take pictures of recipes and articles in magazines and books and struggled to get a decent picture. Now it is super easy to use this app and I get great results. BTW I paid the $1.99 to get rid of ads I loved the app so much. A must have for older people. I have told all my friends about it!!

I always end up deleting this app, but constantly reinstall it because it works so well. I've yet to find anything better. The ads are annoying, but not incredibly intrusive. i tolerate them since i get so much use out of this free app. The magnifier is very handy. The 5x zoom makes my crappy note 9 camera useful when i need to take a closer look at my bird's feathers and skin, remove a splinter from someone, find an eyeeglasses screw dropped in the carpet, clip my dog's nails, and much more.

Nice basic magnification for free. I'm not sure about the paid options if there is any. And my phones flashlight doesn't shine where I need it to help with my camera, so that's no help to me, but I sure wish it was. That's my phone problem though. Also the ads aren't bad but I might consider paying to remove. As I use app often to look at coins and the dates on coins as hobby. I may look into the features soon. I've only used the basic magnification, but I'm glad to have the app.Best I've used!

It's very handy but the ad placement is so annoying . When I'm trying to take photos of jewelry and other little things, it's so easy to hit the ad button right under the take photo button, and have to take my hands and eyes off the piece that I so painstakingly got into focus just to close down Temu or Walmart or some equally irrelevant app that was opened. I'm sure that's by design and better than having random ads run while I'm working but still inconvenient and makes me say bad words.

I'm older now and I find that it's harder to read small print, even wearing my reading glasses! This app has helped me considerably. The light and especially the magnification it gives me has helped so much. Now I can read the smallest of print at home or at the grocery store, reading the ingredients list that they print in the smallest print they can find! Very well done app! The magnifying features are fantastic and clear, and being able to simultaneously utilize the light to illuminate the objective is just awesome!! I've taking a number of very striking photos that I wouldn't have been able to get without this app. This is a big two-thumbs up and five stars for sure! Thank you so very much for making such a good product!

In a word, CLUNKY. It does what it says it will do but not without problems. If I touch the screen wrong it goes dark, and the only fix is to shut down the program and restart. I can't choose where to put saved pictures. It takes too long to close the program normaly, so I just close it from my phones' task switcher. The ads are ridiculous, it makes my phone look like a kids toy. The only reason I have this ap at all is because my phones camera ap won't let use the flashlight concurrently.

I don't mind ads and realize that developers need to get paid too. I just uninstalled a similar app in favor of this one because the other app has overwhelming full-screen ads that were difficult to close. this app doesn't. thank you for this very useful tool. 👍

Garbage, you expect customers to spend money on the useless apps that do not even work properly. Google has become a generic throw away. Google doesn't believe in making or selling a quality product. only useless products that do not work. your rating is minus five stars.

I find it very useful when needing a close up of the unknown creepy crawly. I also find it great for when I'm looking for prickles. Really clear on the phone screen.

Very useful app, I use it often on everything from jewelry hallmarks to vinatge tool brandings which are sometimes hard to see when the tool is covered in decades of patina. Update 12/13/25: Ads on this app cause the app and phone to lock up, it seems the Lowes ad in particular...no X showing to close the ad and no way to back out as it disables the back arrow, I have to turn the screen off and then back on and then hit close all to free up my phone so I can use it again. Probably going remove

I LOVE this app & use it frequently. It is very easy to use. Whether you're at home or out, this magnifying app is there to help. You can easily zoom in & out to help you read things better. You can even take a picture in the app as well. It also has a flashlight to brighten whatever you are trying to see.
