Make Money & Earn Cash Rewards

I'm really disappointed in how downhill this app has gone. I basically could leave it to do it's own thing, and just check my balance. I don't know when it started having points expire, but it didn't used to do that. You could let it build up until it got to whatever gift card amount you wanted, and cash in. I've lost almost 1,000 points because they expired. It also used to have the points where if you had 500 points, there was a $5 gift card for you, but they started adding 'tax' to it 🙄

this app worked fine for me but that was 8 years ago. it's really annoying when I try to verify my email in order to redeem prizes. even with correct email address, I still don't get the verification link but the login link I get just fine. the absence of customer service is not helping either. they've never replied to my emails even almost a week after they've been sent.

I have had this app for several years. and in the past I really liked this app and I would have given it 5 stars. but at some point last year (2025) it was no longer sending the giftcards I redeemed to my email. I even tried switching to another email just to make sure it wasn't an issue with the email I was using. In total I lost out on $20 worth of amazon giftcards. I still have the app, but haven't bothered to redeem anymore giftcards because I don't know if i will acturally recieve them.

for some reason, there is no way to redeem points anymore. after about 2 years, I have almost 3,500 points which would have been about a $30 Amazon gift card and kind of was looking forward to it but now when I go to the redeem page, there's just nothing there anymore. I don't know if their app is glitching or they changed it, but definitely deleting it if it's a new format. they shouldn't be tricking people like that.

I've used this app for years but now it doesn't work anymore. I still have ads set on my lock screen to get daily points but haven't received anything for months now. The Redeem Points screen is also completely empty. So basically I'm giving this app free money by watching constant ads for nothing in return. I've tried to send in multiple reports for help only to get an error message back. So I can't even get in touch with anyone to try to fix the issue. I'm done with this app.

I love the Smores app. I have used this app for years and have always enjoyed its minimal effort rewarding. They have added a lot of features over the years; I admit I preferred when it was more simple, but the new features do not affect the old "set it and forget it" method of earning rewards. My only issue now (10/2/2025) is that the app will occasionally say that I'm not connected to the internet when I definitely am, so earning is paused until it recognizes the wifi again.

I've had this for over 6 years, and I would like to give it 5 stars. However, I was trying to get a couple hundred more points before cashing out but the next time I opened the app 1,000+ points expired. Why do they have my email, phone number, and notifications on if they're not going to warn me the points are going to expire? This alone made me uninstall it.

update: can't delete acct or send in app enquiry to customer support. they've updated, but not for the better. dropped from 4 to 2 stars. Not too overbearing & actually does pay out over time. I've used several Target gift cards, which you can stack at the store. They are e-mailed. I recommend taking a screenshot of the barcode in the e-mail so you can access it quickly while at checkout. You can only use each coupon once, so make sure to delete your e-mail & screenshots once you've used them.

Do not recommend it! this app drains battery life like crazy. Not to mention, they will ban your account without warning if you're "taking advantage of their services." Which in their eyes mean if your making too much money. there's also countless reports of people getting banned for leaving bad reviews. on top of that they will blacklist your number from creating a new account. I originally had $50.10 on the app and when I tried to get a giftcard I ran into an error. then shortly after was ban

Amazon gift cards. September 5th to Today now being Sept 21 and they still aren't available. Obviously from the reviews a lot of us are begging for it back because it's the only gift card we want. Any way to expedite this "inventory issues" because your "soon" and "a few days" you keep telling everyone has turned into 2 weeks now. A lot of us just use the lock screen so we save up for months just to be disappointed because we can't use it on the only thing we want.

The ads were annoying, but worth it for a long time. Then the ads stopped appearing and I couldn't get get the overlay to work. Then all of my accrued points expired. I didn't know that was something I needed to be aware of. I'm uninstalling the app for now after several years of continuous use. I reinstalled it and eventually had the same issue again. Reached out to support but wasn't able to get the ads working on the lock screen, so I uninstalled again.

for a lock screen app, I thought this would be a lot more intrusive, but it skins easily and actually pays out. For an extra swipe, it's an easy extra cash payout. (Yeah, you see ads, but no more so than regular sites. And in some cases, even less.) Edit to add: they added a charging feature where you earn when charging. Nice idea, but I found the charge screen keeps my phone lit at night. Since I use it as my alarm clock too, I can't move it. Had to turn it off.

Really great app! I've earned $13 so far just from the lockscreen and a few videos (I haven't redeemed any points yet, so I can't vouch for that, but I assume it works). The developers are correct when they say you won't notice the ads after a while-I barely see them, and $13 isn't bad. Awesome app, would certainly recommend. Update: I had $30 on the app, but after the update all of it disappeared before I could redeem.

Well. My points are gone, and I had been using this app consistently for over a year with no issue. Not sure what happened. Support was professional. They just couldn't tell me much, which is very upsetting and weird. *Initial 5-star review from 5/2022* I'm in awe of how easy this app is to use. I love the rewards, and it isn't an inconvenience for me. There isn't a whole lot of extra hoops you have to jump through either, which is a nice change for sure!

Honestly this app is worth a download. The concept behind it is smart, getting rewards for using your phone is awesome. I have used my points several times for amazon and domino's gift cards. The only thing that I can say bad about it, is that it stops working after a period of time. I was saving up points to redeem an amazon giftcard but one day the app stop giving me points in October, in November my points were taken from me, and I still can't earn points. Now it just seem a waste space!!!

Had an account for years. Never really checked my account. I just wanted to build up points and exchange them for gift cards when I needed them. One day the ads stop and the app won't launch. I contact support and they ask me to try logging in again. I go to log in and my account has been deleted along with all my points. Years of use, thousands of ads I saw, for free. I'll never get my rewards because of a bug. Needless to say, Uninstalled.

So I'm finally deleting this app. It used to be great. But the recent updates that keep your screen on when you get a text/notification until you MANUALLY TURN IT OFF is the last straw. Imagine being asleep (phone on silent) and you get a late night text and then your screen being on ALL night. Also if you get a phone call you have to unlock the app first instead of just answering the call. Also the amount of times I've accidently clicked an ad while attempting to unlock my phone is insane.

(Star ratings has dropped to 2) Now when I unlocked my screen I don't receive my daily 10 points. It used to be In a month (30 days) for only unlocking my phone i would get $3 to $3.10. And with the help of 2 more accounts i would gain up to $9 - $9.50 which was excellent for me. Now it's just consuming data and battery life. I'll just keep one account active by gaining my points with videos. If it works for me, and if not then it's all over with this app.

And there doesn't seem to be any way to contact customer support. NEW UPDATE 03/13/2020: I tried to redeem my points today, because I was going to make an Amazon purchase in a few days and needed to have a some of the price cut off. Too bad for me that everytime I attempted to redeem something, it just says that an error has occurred and takes me back to the main menu. This is really frustrating that I have kept it on my lock screen for this long just for it to do this to me at the last minute, and there seems to be no way to contact the customer support team directly. This is crazy, I used to love this app!

A great and easy way to make money towards legitimate gift cards. It's pretty straight forward. No need to obtain high goals, and mostly is issue free. The reasons for my 3 stars is due because about 3 days ago, I redeemed $10 (took about 4 months to get there),and I have not received my gift card, and I can't seem to find a 'contact support' anywhere to help.
