Marathon ARCO Rewards

I tried using this at least a dozen times and could only get it to work once. I would enter my phone number and it seemed to connect properly, then the screen would tell me that my my digital rewards we're invalid . Update: I wanted to come back here and change my feedback rating. I believe a lot of my problems were operator error (me). I figured out what I was doing wrong, or Arco made some changes. I do feel the app could be a bit more user friendly. It's working and I'm saving money!

I really don't care for the clip and save, choose and save, foundation of this rewards program. I would much rather just have a discount applied at the pump automatically. Marathon was always my go to fuel supplier. Because of the rewards program and how it's set up ...I actually just go to B/P now where I get a discount at the pump, usually three to ten cents off...a few times more. I guess it's just not for me... just uninstalled

Great rewards program, easy to use.(I even use it along with my Upside Rewards app and get additional savings!)For people complaining about it not showing the cents-off at the pump, it doesn't show it until you've swiped your card and picked your fuel grade. THEN it changes the price. My ONLY issue with the app is every few times, it forces me to log back in - it won't keep me logged in. Very inconvenient when you're in a hurry and have to log-in and do the OTP process again. PLEASE FIX!

Good luck getting the offered discount!!! More often than not the rewards discount does not work at the pump. You put in your loyaly # and the price is supposed to be adjusted at the pump. Sometimes it worked before. Lately it hasn't been working, and you have to go inside to try to get the right price. This last time, the price didn't adjust at the pump (as usual), inside I was told to enter my loyalty # in store number after pumping, it didnt work, and I did not get the offered discount.

Many discounts are offered through this app, but I have never been able to redeem any of them. Why is this app so difficult to use? I called customer service, but couldn't understand him. I thanked him, for nothing, and hung up. The Marathon incentive said, fill up on the 15th of the month and get 15 cents per gallon off of the price of gasoline. Stupidly, I fell for it. I entered my membership number, filled vehicle with gasoline and got no discount whatsoever. The app is horrible!

I don't know if it's the app or the gas stations... But I have yet to receive one, not one single solitary discount, fuel savings, coupon, offer, whatever at all. I cash rewards in the app all the time, and I've been to a variety of different marathon chain gas stations... But not one single iota of anything promised in the app. This rewards program is useless, it gets you nothing. All you're giving them is free data on purchases, and receiving nothing for it.

no directions, no barcode to scan, doesn't provide you with any kind of member number, just tells you about all the great deals you can get, but has no explanation about how to do so. just stand at the pump and pray it magically works? UPDATE: your phone# is your ID#, but even that doesn't work when trying to enter it at the pump. This thing is an absolute waste of time. Literally, every fueling app, but this one, works great. Go anywhere else.

Recently installed the app but could not get the discount to apply. Opened the app, texted (twice), clicked to redeem discount, entered my phone number on pump....bzzt, no discount for you! What an ordeal, and it was all for nothing. This new loyalty program far worse and too time consuming compared to the old one. I'll give it another six months to see if they replace it with something better. Anything would be an improvement. Also, though the sign on the pump read "you do not need to enter 11

This app appears to be intentionally designed to fail. I have used this app multiple times and it does not work. Interestingly, it recognizes my account and lets me accumulate rewards. However, when it comes to USING rewards, the discount mysteriously fails to appear on my receipt. So, you are allowed to accumulate as many rewards as you want, but you cannot use it. Also, the reward system is confusing, probably intentionally so. Ran out of space to describe how (character limit).

Rewards are misleading. For example, if you redeem $5 off but don't pump enough gas, you get the full $5 off your rewards account but not on your bill. Very annoying, you save more with other gas rewards that automatically give you the discount instead putting it in a pool with a misleading amount. App is easy to use, unfortunately every so often does sign you out automatically.

This is the most confusing rewards app. It doesn't explain how to get rewards, it just says rewards are available, but no clue how to get them. I think you have to pump $30 of gas to get $1. It makes you get a one time code just to access the app. I like the Love's app so much better - scan the barcode, get 10 cents off per gallon every time.

Does not work at all. I used the old rewards successfully for years. This app will not result in any discount. No matter how many times I registered, I was only successful in having my account accepted at the pump once. Messaged help and they shrugged it off: probably not rolled out in your area. All of the local pumps have promotions on the pumps for it, so. I deleted the app. Downloaded the competitor's app, as thr station is just down the street.

Not even sure how this app even works, it's not straight forward. I seem to accumulate rewards but can't use them? So complicated for such an easy app. I stop at this Marathon for gas all the time but the rewards system is kind of a joke. Many others out there that aren't so complicated to use. I understand where to redeem the rewards. I can accumulate rewards and when I click to accept the reward it goes away and does not credit to account. Regardless the app doesn't seem to function correct

App seemed to work fine at first. I had to reset my phone to factory settings. Reloaded app and now it has a white screen with the words "Try Again" wriiten within a box. No matter how many times I try again, it does not go beyond that screen. I even uninstalled app. Waited two days, then re-installed app. Still the same message. Please help with this app!

Siggghhhh..... It seems that individual locations are not set up properly to allow for redemptions of the rewards. What good is a program where's you can accumulate points but not be allowed to redeem them? If you run into problems save your receipts and report to the programmers. After getting one location to automatically reduce pump price based on offered promotion, the next week same station did NOT record requested cash redemption. Very disappointed.

Was great when i could redeem the $20 off my gas. That really helped me out when I was in a tight spot and couldn't really afford much but it seems now they've gotten rid of that option and it makes it just like any other rewards app now. I can easily get 10¢/gal with apps like Upside as well. This gives me less incentive to shop at Marathon.

Not only is the new loyalty program confusing and offer practically nothing in terms of rewards, they have done away with offering 5¢ off per gallon at the pump. Way to "reward" loyalty members. The only time I plan to go to a Marathon station in the future is if that is the only station available and my car is running on fumes. I plan on going to the stations that still offer money off per gallon purchased as well as other, better rewards. Sorry, Marathon, the new rewards program is a big fail!

I'm giving up. They offer all these discounts on gas but so far I've only been able to redeem them once at the pump. You put your phone number in and the price per gallon doesn't change. It registers on the app that it's you because it says I've earned more discounts from that fill up but it doesn't give me the discount I already had earned that I clicked to redeem at that fill. I have to unredeem it so it's still there but the pumps won't apply my cents off to the price. You have lost a custome

I go to the app, claim the reward,go to the station, put in my number, and pay full price! I'll just go to BP next time. 10 cents off just for being a member, I don't need to do anything else and I actually get the discount! This app is useless.

Giant waste of time! they are offering $6 in rewards for new customers. I set everything up and added the 15 cents per gallon discount. I put in my phone number at the pump, and I got not a penny discount. I contacted them, sent them a copy of my receipt and I got 42 cents on the app! I know the 15 cents is still on my account since it wasn't used, but their solution was the gas station must not be tracking it right and I should tell the gas station to contact Marathon. is that my job too?
