Match Dating App: Meet & Date

Now that I've CANCELED my subscription, they keep charging me!!! Old Fashioned Subscription System I have never done Match before, so I wanted to check it out, at the Bronze level. After realizing Bronze basically doesn't provide any benefits, I thought I'd upgrade to the next level, but it won't let me! I logged onto the actual site and everything! Such and OLD & ANTIQUATED way of preventing new members to upgrade! It's frustrating, since I signed up for 3 months, with a pointless package!!!!

I paid for a subscription to test it out. there's still a "super like" paywall. also, there were maybe 80 profiles in a metropolitan of 1 million people. then it said I need to expand my search. but there's still a profile in the featured (which requires a super like) which is in the age and distance range. so they hide or create fake profiles to get you to pay beyond an already too expensive subscription. don't respond to me with a form lie Match staff, I know you're a con artist.

Don't even waste your time. I downloaded this app to give it a try because I wanted to stay away from apps like POF. I downloaded Match, barely even set up my account (had never used Match before in my life), went to sign in to use it and was told that my account was blocked. I contacted customer care and their suggestions included clearing my cache, deleting and reinstalling the app or trying on a different device. Ridiculous.

They don't follow your preferences; not even when marked deal breakers. They send tons of likes from all out of your area making you think that there are lots of people near you; then when you pay, you discover there are very few profiles nearby. I regret putting out the money for their apps and they seem to be buying up more of them! Be aware.

Figured I try this app out. Made an account and started filling out my profile, and was almost immediately banned. I uploaded a couple pictures and then it signed me out. Got a notification my "account has been blocked." Never interacted with anyone and barely used the app. Not sure what their criteria is, but I saw after a quick search online that this is a common occurrence. Kinda wild.

The app has stopped working today conveniently right before my paid month is up. Definitely won't be renewing. Horrible money sucking app with barely any profiles that match what I'm looking for. They keep your most ideal matches away from you unless you pay additional on top of the premium. People can have a profile for free but they can't use the messaging feature so you are taunted with these profiles and contact them but they'll never see your message. Look for another app.

Save your money. They get you to subscribe for their overpriced service by hiding faces and emailing you constant reminders of people who haven't even looked at your profile (while again, hiding faces and other important info). Definitely regret paying for 3 months of this. Edit: they also constantly pitch transferring your profile to their other products (e.g. Hinge, tinder,...). You know it's a bad service when they're constantly trying to get you to sign up for others. Save your money.

I've been a paid member for a while now, and I can safely say there are more unverified profiles than real ones. most of them don't even bother to fill anything out in the profile. Just a couple pictures of women in exotic travel locations. I don't know why they charge a fortune to use this service but allow anybody to sign up. I gave up even checking when I get a like as they just get removed within a day. Not a good value, I don't want to renew when my subscription is up.

Their advertising is fraudulent and misleading. You cannot message anyone unless you are at the highest paid level. they convince you to "upgrade" only to have ZERO additional benefits at that level. you have to "upgrade" 2 more times to see messages and talk with anyone. Additionally they will send you emails that "Tom" sent you a message, but then Tom never comes through your options. so you can't even try to match with that person. complete Fraud!

Overpriced and offers little churn. What you see on your first weekend is pretty much all you're going to see for most of your subscription. The user base simply doesn't replenish. So once you get through the applicants available on day one, you're pretty much finished. And their customer and technical support is non existent. Did I meet a few people here? Sure. Is a subscription worth it? No. Better platforms for cheaper elsewhere.

Useless app, even as a female. After 24 hours of setting up my profile (I like the way it sets up) and waiting for everything to be approved and browsing through/liking some people, everything is blurred out. I have "likes" but I can't access/message them unless I pay. Update: I have received a message/intro which I also can't see unless I upgrade. -🌟 Might as well delete it.

Without a subscription, this app is totally useless--despite the false/lying advertisements I've been seeing from match lately. Without a subscription you can't see who liked you (their face is fuzzed out), you can't see incoming messages, you can't message anyone, you can't see profiles entirely ....it's pretty much a USELESS joke of an app if you don't subscribe. Match is one of the most expensive dating apps around when you subscribe and when you don't ...it doesn't work at all.

this app is really poor. you might as well not even try to sort potential matches. I would like to select 50 miles or less but all it will let me select 100 miles or less. more than one parameter for sorting and it says none available which is ridiculous.. I also keep getting ghosted. I have very good conversations then they disappear. match then send email saying they were fraudulent users. enough already.

THI APP IS COMPLETE GARBAGE!!!!!!false advertisement, they say it's free to chat and see profiles. NOT TRUE you can't see who likes you , profile pictures are blurred so you don't even know who your looking at. you can send a small message when you think you like someone. but that's it, you have to have a membership to do anytime. plus even if you want to pay the cost is ridiculous. Every app now requires you to pay, ones that don't you just never see results. You basically have to pay to date.

I found there is quite a difference between the free version and a paid subscription that unfairly didn't allow me to evaluate it well. It has a number of user unfriendly rules, such as a 72 hour rule, that breaks potentially interesting connections and there is no way to revive them. It keeps sending me potential connections that lead to profiles that are no longer available or get switched to a different user. There is no readily available help to assist you, so you are on your own.

Like most of these dating apps, they are rife with scammers. They do not have a good enough verification system. With Plenty Of Fish (which is owned by the same company), at least they have an Ai program, where you take a picture of your face in real time and it compares it to your posted pics. Match does not have that. I've already smoked out two scammers by using lenso.ai reverse image search. It's not free, but if you are going to use these apps, it's a must.

this app doesn't even work. the search just loads forever. the "Meet" option doesn't even show up anymore. I have to use the website instead of the app to search, and the website does not have the "Meet" option. I paid for a subscription and this is bs. I have Uninstalled and re-installed the app multiple times. still doesn't work right. there are a ton of dating apps out there, try another one.

THIS APP BLOWS!!!!!! I signed up, paid for 1 week and as soon as I sent the payment in I was locked out of my account and cannot log in and access anything! I've tried 8 or more times to contact them and try a password reset but they never email it to me. This app is a major scam!!! My advice pick a different dating app, there's plenty of them out there that won't do to you what this one will!!! 😡

SEARCH SIMPLY WILL NOT OPEN it's a total rip off that you cannot set parameters and click search button, it does not open ever. After a few minutes of clicking the pass button, because profiles don't align with your values and are mostly too far away or inactive, the app gets real slow and profiles won't open the next profile. Also they daily email me profiles that don't exist when I "click to view these profiles now".

Still the same search issue a blank screen. More when you get the email notices of highlights and click on someone of interest the app opens to some random person that you can open swipe left or right. The person in the email is no where to be found making the emails worthless. More a majority of the people in the emails haven't logged in for months or no longer active. Terrible "improvements " to the app.
