Been using the app for 3 years now. High variability of performance based upon the device you're using. Not all features across all devices. Back-end tech-engineering isn't leak proof, however you can still get job done. I must say that the tragic part is that it's not allowing to place 360s on the map, at least for my Samsung device amongst others. I mean what's the point then if you can't place the 360s on map, that option for you is now 86'd.

Works, but it's pretty buggy. Exits the capture screen if you move the phone a way it doesn't like. If it has trouble connecting to your camera, it puts an error message RIGHT OVER WHERE THE KEYBOARD APPEARS, & blocks the letters so you can't type those characters. Only way to clear the message is by restarting the phone. Certain features, if they don't work the first time, continue to say they didn't work even if you fix the issue. Crashes whenever I try to place a 360 photo on the map.

It takes some doing but once you get the hang of it you can map out a floorplan quite nicely. It's not something you can rush through though. And I'm not 100% certain but I believe this app can also be used to manually take 360 photos on any cell phone. However, it's made for a device that can hold cell phones and make 360 photos and the like MUCH more accurate. I have seen people say that they have gotten better results doing those manually but I haven't had any problems.

I am not a company but an individual trying to get captures of my rooms at home. I connected my insta 360 camera and successfully captured a bird's eye view of one of my rooms. But then what can I do with this I am not sure. Is there a possibility of connecting the rooms in the app ? And how can I get those fancy views in the screenshots ? What is the upload process used for ? I uploaded one capture but then there is no process on it. Edit: I used the online features and it works quite well. Very happy with output from my home captures.

We finally figured out that all the bad experiences were definitely because we were running the app on an iPad. We are now using our Galaxy 24 Ultras and it's so much faster. However, the app does not allow me to place my 2D scans on the map. When I tap the "place on map" it just says "please wait" and never does anything more.

I wanted to scan the interior of a small building with three rooms. Things were going well until room 3, at which point either it's "not aligned" or the app places it on top of the first room. Yes, it can be manually moved, but once you've done that the app randomly moves it to a different location anyway. I did seven scans of room 3 and was never able to get in the correct location. An utter waste of time.

Not for Android. Got a Moto g stylus 5g and this app is clearly not optimized for Android. It's slow, crashes constantly, and struggles to align at times even when I'm within the required steps from the previous scan. Also it sometimes brings me back a page to choose a job while processing a scan or when my phone rotates while it's processing. Anytime this app works right is a blessing and it's very frustrating when you have to start over a scan. I will say that it works rather well on iPhone.

There is a minor bug when rotate the display while working on a job. When the screen rotates, it backs out to the "Your jobs" page and any progress of a scan that was currently being processed does not save. It also does this exact thing even if you are just viewing a specific job. This doesn't clear all of the work, but still is an inconvenience since I have to rescan that point again.

it was good but now crashes when opening a space to view it. I tried clearing the cache. Then I uninstalled it and installed it again. The space I wanted to show showed up after I logged in, but the app still crashes every time I try to do the virtual walkthrough.

Not that great and expensive. The app comes with issues. Very strict security will not work on a Huawei, shame. I switched to Zillow app and better off. Free and comes with free floor plans!

terrible app absolutely bullcrap never works when I need it too I'm a general contractor I can't even get it to give me the right address I'm at. it never wants to take pictures. ect ect I'm about to recommend to all my engineers and contractors to stay away from this app absolutely waste of space

I am testing app to get investment for related business plan, could not export or import spaces that I have for test. once u have 2 spaces in ur test account you cannot go back to free account. They are not supporting startup with limited budgets you have to subscribe to apply changes on your code or to have exta features. I am looking for similar applications which are open to test SDK without charging.

they changed the terms and conditions my 'free' space and archived jobs are now locked behind a pay wall they don't allow any exporting of your images or data unril you pay. this sx. they are greedy grubs!

I bought the axis, it was good in the beginning. however now I scan literally one step away it said cant align with previous scan. it was just a small office. it is totally garbage.

I can not register / signing up for an account. I'm stuck on "what's your industry" page. Please help so I can also update my playstore review and rating for this app. Thanks

Bug when trying to upload files

Absolutely useless software. I've got the axis and using it with the app. The app overheats my phone. The app crashes several times during any shoot, not saving some captures. Then when I go to upload it the app says no connection despite the fact I know I'm connected and using fast optic internet. The Matterport axis is total waste of money, and by the reviews on most of their other products, it sounds like everything is useless too.

Great App, easy to use and great results.... sadly, can't say the same about their Support - they don't have an online chat, when you click on "email support" button, it takes you to a Help Centre page instead, with no access to a contact email. Then I found the UK contact number, tried a few times, it kept me on hold for an available agent forever, until it finally says all their agents are busy with other customers and asks me to try again later, I left a message but no reply - Yes, this is an attempt to try and get them to call me and sort out my issue. Matterport, you really need to fix your support.

Waste of money and time! Hopefully this changes quickly. Fused all the floors together, even though I took time to choose each level quickly. I also hook a portable fan up to my tripod to cool my phone down the this app heating up the processor. Also, make sure you have a tripod with a bubble level. The device will get stuck if uneven something

One of the best 360 solutions in the market, if you only have your phone this app is not for you, you need an spherical camera to make it work, I hope they expand to other cameras like Samsung to lower the extra tag price, but ricoh works great. Unfair reviews from idiots trying to use it with the phone only. App is easy to use and processing site results is great. Which I could do exteriors. Congrats 5 stars any day. So glad you did Android.
