I've only had this card for one week and I'm already experiencing issues. I've been trying to register for online services through the app, but it keeps telling me they are having technical issues. How long until you guys fix this? When I called in , they said they could only help me with the web browser version and not the app. So the app gets a 1 star until it can start working again.
dismal. unable to access the app. every time I try to log in I get a 7000001 logged out error and a direction to log back in! I try again and it's straight back to the 7000001 and "you've been logged out" error message. not impressed at the moment. 9200010 is the error code after deleting and reinstalling. I give up, maybe I'll go to another bank......... Edit 13.02.2026 still unable to use the app and no response from Lloyd's group acknowledging there is an issue with the app, for me at least
I never get the authorisation prompt when making an online transaction. So in that regard it is useless. One plus point, they at least don't have those stupid nag screens when you first open the app like they used to do. Update, I've just been trying to do other things in the app and 'an unexpected error occurred' all very amateurish.
the app is fine unless you need to make a claim, everytime I give evidence of claim and proof of work done I get the message 'somethings gone wrong'. I then chat to a virtual assistant(waste of time), then a real person who can't help, the tech team will review in due cause(5-7) days except it's been longer than that with no correspondence. don't use the app for insurance(pointless). was fine for credit card use
If you bank with Lloyd's then avoid MNBA. I have a loan and I cannot make overpayment in the app. Sometimes the option is there but does not work. I called them to make payments but because I bank with Lloyd's i am unable to transfer money and was advised to open an account with another bank or use a friend's account to make extra payments. As such I am following their own advice and moving all my banking away from the Lloyd's banking group.
slow, clunky, confusing, Impossible to make a payment using the app, always crashes back to the log in screen when returning from bank verification.
Annoying that I can no longer seem to pay via bank as app sends me to my bank but then screen goes blank. Have to use pay by debit card which is more faff. Other than that, app is OK.
Great when it works, but please please please stop updating every 5 minutes. Every single time I've gone to log in over the past several years, there's a new update (which makes no difference to user experience) that requires a load of faffing about to access the app again.
Not too bad but the nag screen is annoying. Every login means being forced to set my marketing preferences... Even though they never change
Messages in mail box are laughably small. Some will not download and not enlarge, making it impossible to read them. This is despite have reasonably large mobile phone screen. Are you hiding your terms and conditions updates MBNA?
Can't set up a memorable word, as the second field won't allow typing. had to go online to create an account then return to the app to log in. Not a great start.
Got it to contact someone about website issues but you can't use it without an account and can't open an account without signing up for a credit card. Never use this company for anything.
dreadful app, haven't been able to log onto it ever, lucky its a backup credit card I never use, ill probably cut it up and apply for a card elsewhere. avoid!
not easy to use too much info on the screen. too many times to tap to do a ttransactiin. no feedback if transaction fails or why it fails.
Registration is impossible via the app, you have to do it via desktop, not particularly user friendly for insurance
Extremely poor app, it kept telling me I need to be verified, even though I had verified the last time I tried to log in. the verification required a call which takes you away from the app and so the app closed and you had to redo again. Tried the verification using ID which failed repeatedly. absolutely useless app, especially when I was overseas and wanted to check the account.
I have been trying to understand why I was charged interest and tried to speak to someone. I thought my minimum payments always went out automatically and that I had a 0 percent purchase agreement for a few months. but I could not get an answer. I have now tried to pay the purchase off in the hope that will resolve it.
since update tonight, am unable to open the app, I just have "app launch failed. please close the app and try again".
I always use my finger print as my pass code but for some reason it is asking for my memorable word ,I couldn't remember and took 6 attempts to get into my account
Update: the app is now working again on my pixel device, so updated the score to reflect this. Old review: no longer works, nothing changed on the phone, but now it just says the device is insecure. Will be closing account unless it's sorted soon.
