losing my phone without saving data, I thought I would be forever adding numbers. Thank you so much. All my numbers are on my replacement phone! Learning that I could retrieve my photos of our family was Fabulous! Not turning out to be a difficult task, made the whole process more rewarding. I felt like I was in charge! It made the entire process so easy and yes, very rewarding for the effort!

🌻 I think we were just finding out we were having a virus or Trojan problem? I'm just glad to finally have this installed. I like how it's really quick and simple to install and protect our living space, are digitals, our privacy, the list goes on There is nothing like discovering your personal information is no longer private, or seeing a unique password reappear on someone else's device. 🐾

I don't give 5 started ratings unless it's some blow me away experience. 3 is mediocre anything below that means don't waste your time. I give this app 4 stars. no annoying ads. i understand monetization but I'm sure we've all experienced how intrusive all those pop-ups are. it's very minimal, doesn't slow your phone down. and doesn't appear to be spyware. that's a big plus in my book. 4½ stars.

So far, so good. I like that you know the app is running from seeing the icon on your screen. It's also nice that the icon gives information, such as memory in use, and it will show you the remaining uptime, if your battery time is low. And, the icon also serves as a place to access options, such as running a scan. McAfee is renowned for being a solid antivirus solution, so that's a further feather in its cap, as far as being a trustworthy source for antivirus on your phone.

No way to exclude files or folders from scans. The screen has buttons for Keep and Remove in scan results. Keep doesn't work. It says I can't keep the file. Tech support told me to click Fix and I would get an option to ignore the file. That didn't happen. It just deleted the file. She said I could just Google it and download the file again. The file is no longer available online and since you can't set exclusions in the scans, it would just delete it again anyway.

This is the best product I've used from McAfee and the best of its kind in the field (coming from an IT engineer of 26 years.) It is not only super-efficient but actually IMPROVES system resources by mitigating or even closing offending memory hogging apps. It has exactly the features you need with no bloat. Finally... a product worth choosing (even if you have to pay a little for it. T-Mobile users can get it for free.)

I bought my phone and I've had the T-Mobile McaFee security for years. They turned half of it off and want you to pay. T-Mobile said I would have it for Life Just the way it was not taking features away and asking you to pay. None of it was worth anything to start with uninstall it. You'll see a noticeable improvement in phone function. My Wi-Fi is secure as it can get. I never use public wifi Why would I, I have unlimited data. It may be slightly slower, but it's secure.

Feels less and less like an anti-virus and more like an ad for other services. There are so very few options related to scans, even things like making sure your definitions are up to date are gone. Mix in its poor notification management (Need to update 10 apps? It's going to give a separate notification for each, back to back, then you can accidently close the app trying to clear it) If this wasn't part of my phone plan I wouldn't be using it.

Horrible. The only option I get when I go to app is, "Let's try that again... We ran into a problem. Try one more time. " I've tried a hundred more times, including uninstalling and reloading. NOTHING WORKS, especially not an app created by a company whose main business is creating software to protect against malicious attacks. If they can't get simple software correct, I'm not trusting them to protect my info. Criminals will win that battle every time.

Not functional, same issue as others "oops something went wrong" when trying to use from a fresh install. Cleared cache as recommended, no dice. Uninstalled, likely not worth all the extra time trying to deal with support. This obviously is a common issue based on reviews and highly unlikely support will be able to just resolve the issue. There are only so many options and settings you can change, and they won't fix the issue if its a coding problem within the app.

Overall good, however, somehow a couple of my favorite ,personally taken, photos are missing from my Phone Gallery, a Facebook Post and Google Photos. I had them restored a few months ago, but, they have disappeared again. I know that I have not deleted them. I don't know what can be done about this issue. I have proof they are mine, I have printed and even placed one on canvas.

I really like knowing my devices are protected. However, I have noticed in the mobile app in the last 3 days, since I restarted my phone, the app keeps sending a message about a new notification, but when I check, there is nothing there. I tried doing another restart, but that hasn't worked. I get this notification about every half hour. It's a bit annoying. This is new in the last few days. Edit: There was an update available yesterday. I was able to clear the notification! Thank you!

This app has been able to find the viruses that I knew I had on my phone and that every other security/virus scanning app failed to find... My phone had unwanted random adds popping up every few seconds and it was opening web pages one after another. One time I closed out 45 web pages that just kept opening up right in front of my face. I would close the app but it kept opening and popping up keeping me from being able to do anything else and it was pretty terrifying seeing it happen for real..

It's a little frustrating. I had to reload this app. I took several minutes, and 6% of my battery, and I couldn't use other features while I was waiting. With 5G, everything is becoming more invasive! ☹️ I also do not use WiFi if I can avoid it. I never have trusted it. Why else would I want unlimited data, but to avoid the use of WiFi?

Horrid! Horrific! Miserable! This app doesn't work at all! When I tried to call customer support they had no idea what I was taking about. Every time I open the app it tells me that something went wrong and it closes the app. Can't believe that this is a forced app as it DOESN'T work. I wish I could pay a screen shot to show what I'm experiencing.

I'm really frustrated because I'm trying to Deactivate this app as I prefer to use Norton and I don't want them overlapping each other. If I click "deactivate" in the play store, I get this message: "This app is a device administrator and must be deactivated before uninstalling." Well that's exactly what I'm trying to do! Really irritated.

I very much like this app. It's easy to use, just not easy to update. Maybe be aware, there is a notification that appears on my phone that says this app needs to be upgraded. I won't click on the notification, tho it looks legit, but go straight to playstore where it doesn't show any upgrades available. We need an easier way that's in the app to check for upgrades and definitions as it would be more secure.

Might as well not have it. It acts like a virus. Constantly pops up every time an ad shows up on the screen. Freezes everything. Makes game playing hard. I'm even trying to write this review, and it popped up the 24/7 notification 3 times. Never had a virus, and I already play it safe. Husband's phone has a virus, and he has this too. So what's the use? Update to number of pop-ups. 6 times total in the less than 3 minutes this took to write.

Same issues as reported by other users. App lock feature no longer available and when I login, app insists I already have a license in use. Which I don't, because I was never able to login to app on tablet, I uninstalled the app many months ago, long before this new iteration and, a couple months ago, I cancelled the tablet service/number with ISP. The only option available is ADD LICENSE none to REMOVE.

This is truly a multipurpose app. It has the expected anti-virus function, and it assesses use of both RAM and storage. The app can show you what is using up the memory so you can decide what to delete. It doesn't just delete stuff though. It shows what could be deleted and you decide what to keep. There's also a quick function that will free up RAM when you shut down an app but it doesn't release the RAM it was using.
