The app gets worse with every update: 3 days coupons expiring in 1 day, bugs, some days I was placing an order and by the time I was at the franchise the app would crash and had the restart the whole order again. Latest annoying bug: they removed the cash paying method ( the reason why I will be spending my points and delete the app ). I don't feel safe binding my bank account with apps on the Internet. Also, no app should force their users to use their locations in order to be used.

The app makes it pretty convenient to order before you get there or to even order in the restaurant if you don't want to stand in line or touch the screens that a thousand people touched earlier. The one star is missing because if you look up product information in the app, like calories for example, it stops working. Makes you wonder.

Just froze in the last step of the order, but the UX makes it look like they already took the order. total waste of time, figuring all this out at the counter, then placing an order in person and waiting even more.

i MUST turn on location when already standing in store to accept my order. unacceptable. you do NOT need my location to give me the food i paid for and am standing in front of you to receive. pure data grab, never using the app again

over the years, no issues, recently since the new updates, constant issues with payments, also no cash payment option anymore through the app. it's getting worse....

It freezes in the moment when the order is almost complete.... Reinstalling helps not at all Closing and opening again - and I can't finish my order anyway Just blank white screen and nothing..... How much resources do you need just to create app for food order?? It's not a spaceship or something like that!

It's ridiculous that now you need 1200 points for free nuggets! The prices are already so much higher, you could at least leave this as it was. I was at 997 points, happy that I'll get my nuggets today and then surprise! Makes you want to never come back again Edit: even more expensive! And now you need 1250 points for nuggets! That's it. I'll exchange my last points and start making my own nuggets at this point xD

Great because I am from the UK and I barely understand German. This lets me sit down and take my time without pressure.

Worst mcd app i have ever seen, everything locked and hard to get. Not other country have so bad app.

Why removing the option to pay in cash? Seriously? If i want to pay in cash i need to place my order on the local terminal, which takes a while to input my code to accumulate points, to be issue the very same code it was always there to get to the cash desk and be able to pay. Why have the option to pay in cash in the restaurant has been removed? I cannot simply reorder my previous options from the bloody in house terminal.

it would be 5 stars but I have to substract 2 stats because the McDonald's monopoly isn't fun at all anymore. no-one. wants to enter multiple long codes in a device or even scanning is to much effort. we like to collect the streets and get free big macs

Poor usability... In my opinion McDonald's did a horrendous job with what could be a really good and helpful app. A thorough market and competition analysis should be part of every marketing measure, therefore also with apps. To me, it doesn't seem like McDonald's has done even a little bit of research. Burger King's app is much more comfortable to use, no need to log in for coupon usage, no need for lovation services to be turned on. And, the best thing, constant availability of coupons.

It's an average app - does what you want when it works, but can be unreliable and can hang. For advance orders it won't believe that I'm in the car park at the entrance to the drive thru, until the last second. This is just about acceptable at quiet times, but it would be nice if it would believe me once I get within 100m of the restaurant - I don't want to have to park up just to get it to work. App has precise location permission granted. Only works in Germany - rubbish if near border area!

The most pathetic macdonalds app In Europe by far. Their deals are somehow more expensive than without actual deal. Sometime deals will show up but you can't buy them cause you bought them 2 weeks before. What a waste of time.

The APP likely works as intended, but especially the table-service that you can use with this APP is kinda not thought through: there is little sense in sitting down, ordering from the table ... and then you receive the food without any table napkins. To get those you have to get up and run through half the restaurant to collect them. Also, when ordering ice cream to be delivered to the table as dessert, it never shows up. You have to get up and convince the counter personnel that you ordered.

While the UI is okay so far, I had a really terrible experience with this app. I thought I'd speed things up by placing my order upfront through the app. After providing and confirming my payment method, I got an "order placed" message instructing me to drive to the selected McDonald's and to "use the app when you arrive". No-one there could help me there, I was blamed of not having paid, then asked to place the whole order again directly, but without the deals (i.e., pay more). Never again! FU!

Too many bugs, the coupons function is useless, it ask for permissions and turn on the GPS, when the app already has the permission and the GPS is on. It was working great in the older version. Nevertheless, I had to reset my phone and the last version doesn't work. Every five days there is an update and blocks everything!

The app is good, but not kind of friendly to travelers, because only German is provided, and I can't change the language to English

Absolutely ridiculous! These so called "coupons" are just offendingly bad. The customer is getting nothing of value in comparison to back when we got real coupons in our mail box every few months. This app is offering NOTHING that is even worth the time of registering and using it. And it got even worse over the last 6 years. As if this terribly small food is worth a tenth of the price they ruthlessly raised several times, they don't even offer to get more of junkfood for these greedy prices.
