Medical Terminology Dictionary

I'm an auditory learner so, I would love to have an app where a voice pronounced the word and read the definition, but this is the next best thing. I've used lots of different Med Term apps in the Play store trying to do find the best one, this is it! It would be very nice if, one of the premium benefits was the ability add our own cards to our "stared" pile.

I don't actually like to write reviews for apps that I usually use. But you guys really have a wonderful app but what i really want form you guys is to add a text to speech feature to the app, because some of the medical technologies are difficult to pronounce and moreover memorize. Do this and you guys are sure to get a 5 star rating form me and my many friends from Ghana using the app.

BLOODY ADS. But app is very useful. Contains majority of word roots. If you don't see the root on its own, find a word with the root in it (e.g. the term phrynos doesn't exist on its own in the app, so find a word with phryno in it like phrynolysin, and expand it. It has a breakdown of the word and it shows where phrynos comes from and what it means).

The best offline and online medical dictionary I've ever used. Most terms are clearly defined, sometimes also noting their origin. But definitely my go-to medical dictionary anywhere, everywhere 🥰

Quick, accurate and easy to paste into reports allowing me to review my notes with the raw data on the page, then cut it out again. I spent some time playing with the app too and I am comfortable jumping in and out of of it. Thanks

A nice quick reference, but some contents seem to be truncated or missing while the ending word of some sentences are adhered to the beginning of the next sentence. Need better proofreading by the developer.

Was working nice for the last couple months until yesterday, now I get a white screen, can't agree to privacy terms when I tried to delete and redownload. What happened? Only this app, nothing else on my phone.

Fantastic app, great help wherever and whenever you need instant access to medical info. I just wish there is a scroll-down button and i know everyone would very much welcome such a modification and improvement in the future, cheers!

It wasn't working badly until of recent it crashes alot saying not enough space, yet the phone has more space of than 3gb. So for it to open u have to 1st restart phone which is a disappointment. Please fix it thanx

Easy to use & understand medical teams and treatments. Not just for medical students, but for everyone who wants to better understand what Doctors & specialist are talking about.

Don't like not being able to enter my keyword, instead you have to maneuver your way thru a long list of all their selections: you must start at A each time even if you want info on zebra.

The app is light and pretty useful. It's easy to find terms and acronyms. And it's also free, with some ads. Nice job!

This is the Epitome of Medical Apps. I work with this App. everyday doing my studing for class work. I gave it a five star rating, and would recommend it to anyone in the Medical Field!

I have been using this app for years. And I have never thought of getting rid of this. I have this app on all of my gadgets. Such q huge help.

Finally!!! Tried five other "medical dictionaries" and I could not go directly to the definition (used "callus" as the word needing definition). They either didn't have the definition, required a lecture for the definition, or I was forced to watch a gaming app prior to going to the definition. Not here - straight to the definition!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you, from a RN with 36 yrs in the field!

poor app its decieving u. many options are available in premium. Also a lot of words there are unable to give a proper idea.the little amount of words available with there meaning also really unacceptable and poor discrption.I can firmly say u can get better idea google surching instead of this silly app even! sorry but i hv to tell the truth.i'm still wondering how this get near 3.5 rating cuz this is not worthy that much.

This app is so amazing since i download it it's helpful and gives meaning to most terms i dont get Just that i suggest they add some forms of diseases that affects the human organs.

Wow, it save so much of time from paging the books looking for the medical terms. Short, nice n clear and exact definitions. It amazing.

It is very useful, but it would've been the best medical app if it provided the pronunciation as well. Any way, it's very good

Near perfect I've been using this app for 5 years. I would just add a note book option and maybe a diagram. N we should be hood
