Casual shouldn't mean easy to the point of boredom inducing. There's no strategy to it. The user interface is terrible as well. Over a dozen currencies and no effective way to track them. The game starts bombarding you with ads after you finish the first 10 rounds. I can't even imagine why you'd spend money on this game. After playing for an hour it's only gotten easier. Don't waste your time. Get an actual tower defense game.
They deleted my guild with no explanation and no fanfare. Ok, so it only had me in it. I was building it up to 'go public'.... hell, even if I wasn't, there are certain things you can do and get that requires a guild. So what if I am the only one in it? I invested time and in-game money in it. What else are they going to delete? XP? coin? gems? Something else? old review: fun game, definitely different than i expected, in a good way.
It was a fair bit of fun. Tell you get to the later levels. Has nothing to do with difficulty. I couldn't level a tower anymore without getting constant adds for 2 to 4 dollar purchases. It got annoying really fast. And after a bit I Uninstalled the game. Was already annoyed how PTW heavy the game is. It's fun but pushes to hard on marketing and trying to force you to PTW if you don't pay to win they punish you by increasing the number of adda you get over time.
Surprisingly fun, if not a bit repetitive. It's probably the seemingly infinite unlocks that leads to other unlocks which somehow bring back to the original unlocks. There's a lot of dopamine tricks. But like I said, it's fun. Ads are never forced and that alone is a reason to play the game. I didn't feel like it was in my face either. Worth a try at least!
Overall pretty good. Unless your a solo player who doesnt like to socialize, dont play for two weeks and then they delete your guild you created with premium currency. Poof. Coin and resources spent. Gone. Probably just to force you to grind or purchase more gems to buy another guild. No. Feels like a cash grab. I like to play solo games and they absolutely require you to be in a guild to have access to the most lucrative items. Stuff you cant even buy with real money. Now I delete the game.
Awesome game. Unlike most games like this that make you feel like you're grinding to get by, you'll find yourself upgrading and opening crates so often, you might not fight anything for a few minutes. This game is rewarding for just knowing the game and progression. If you put money in the game, its just to progress a little faster and thats all.
Overall a decent idle game. It has a lot to cycle through as you progress, and the monetization doesn't seem too greedy. But the options you have for compelling choices or any kind of expression seem to be very limited up until very lategame, and even then don't alter that much of your gameplan. I don't feel that it stands quite as tall as idle game heavyweights like Almost A Hero.
I'm really liking the game so far, it's a great balance of fun gameplay without needing to necessarily buy paid items. Also playing the game gives you the crystals to buy things, so you have a balance of getting ahead by playing. A few quality of life items have stuck out: for mining should be option "mine all" instead of needing to constantly click, rewards should be able to collect in a set location on a page, friend/friending capabilities should be built out to build up game community.
If you like tower defense, you'll like this game. Downsides is the game can be very expensive if you want to progress quickly. But if you're in it for the long-haul, it should be fine. Performance (in battles) could be better; even with all the graphic options turned off it chugs on my Pixel 3a. Hopefully they can improve performance with future updates.
Probably one of the best tower defense type games I've played in awhile. Definitely has pay to win on it, but it actually limits how much you can "pay" to win. Which is cool that way people still have to PLAY the game to do advancements. The graphics are nice and the sound effects are awesome. I've been playing for a month now and I'm totally addicted. Although, when you get into the higher waves, there's alot more going on and it can cause frame issues. So be mindful
This game is pretty great. The gameplay is fun and at a perfect difficulty, there aren't any required ads (big bonus points there,) and I don't feel like I need to spend money to progress. The small merging bit is fun, and I love the fact that most things have different currencies so I don't have to make any tough choices. In summary, this game is almost perfect! The only problem is chains of getting loot, and spending that loot completes like 3 other quests with more loot. That isn't bad though
I like this game and have spent money on it, but I have several gripes. The commander descriptions are confusing and not worded well, the community is unclear how they actually work. I unlocked "BOSS quick-fight" but cannot figure out how to activate it. And I wish there was a way to switch factions, even if it was behind a heavy wall of some sort.
Update: 1 negative, the game runs my phone hot, and uses a lot of battery on my S21 Ultra. I'd like a low power/graphics mode :D Not gonna lie, this game is so fun! You have a main tower that you control and build a bunch of automated towers to fill other slots. I sort of wish you could manually control all the towers at once at certain times when you want to kill 1 thing really fast. You are constantly unlocking rewards and upgrade materials between rounds, almost to a fault :P But it's fun
Fun, well made, good looking. My favorite thing about it is that I have not encountered a single forced ad. The only ads are by choice, and you don't have to watch them to progress, because the game is very generous with resources. Games like this make me much more likely to spend money in-game (as compared to the growing onslaught of greedware games that contain far more forced ads than game content.)
A TD with good progression (at the beginning), merge mechanics, loads of unlocks & frantic action. I thought ads were only when you wanted to multiply rewards or bend time, but they started popping up randomly. There's a "retro arcade" section that doesn't seem to fit the theme. I also think the rewards are too scattered in different menus, which can be a little annoying. There's a lot going on in this universe with little to no explanation. Quantity doesn't mean quality.
So far, progressing and leveling up your turrets and main cannons are very easy. The colonization challenges get me biting my nails a bit, and I like that. So far what a great game. I have three major notes about the game. The first is an absolute praise, because this game doesn't make me feel like I have to spend real money to keep up. Secondly, the gold as a level completion reward is too small. Better to pay with gems to get more. Lastly, the chest options is nonexistent. Need more from that
Fun game but....enemy power is all over the place fight to fight and it is getting to the point of having to spend money to progress further in the game. Also the hero summons are 👎. Only way to get the gold summons is to pay money. You get one like every few months and I play almost every day. Fix this and it is definitely a 5star game! Update... some how when you merge towers together on the field to make stronger towers you lose a lot of power???? No other game I have ever played does this!
Good idea, but there are some big issues. No explanation of how to play, whatsoever. Nearly lost the opening level because I thought the tower would shoot automatically. And once I figured out I had to tap the enemies one by one, targeting was less than precise. But my biggest issue is that watching ads for resources and currency is worthless. The ads lock you in and do not allow you to return to the game. So essentially, you have to exit the whole program and get nothing. Wasted of time.
Ad removal cost is on the higher end. The amount of time you put in for paltry progress is the worst part. The game makes you feel like you're making huge leaps in progress by shoveling hundreds of items at you each day, but they amount to a sliver of progress. It doesn't even give you a free game play acceleration, so battles are a slog. The first game play acceleration you can buy is a joke. Just a huge time sink with no pay off.
The idea of this game is actually fun. And for a little bit it is fun. But then you see how money hungry this game is. It is literally pay 2 win. It has two different "battle passes," 5 shops that use real money and not game currency, and consistent notifications for "sales." Oh and of course ads. which while not required would be silly not to do since its the only way to get boosts without paying. And the ad opportunity is very often. Editors response to this proves my point.
