Meme Maker - Mematic

It's a good basic app. I liked it until I paid for pro. When you try to use colors in your text, there's some weird glitche that doesn't allow you to choose your colors. On each new meme, it randomly chooses two color options for you (other than black and white) and that's all you can use. If you don't like those options, start over with the design and hope for two better colors. Don't pay for pro. Just use free.

Does almost everything specifically you would want, straightforward, veeeery easy to use, not ugly. Great app. Paywall for small watermark away is unfortunate but it's small enough that I'm okay with it and I do like the app. It doesn't have custom any-size cropping, but you can crop the picture in your photos before uploading onto meme. a few more meme text preset options that are common would be nice. also line spacing option would be awesome.

This is a great app. But there is so much room for improvement. I suggest that the library contains more meme images. The quantity is very underwhelming. It would be great that you keep a popular tab as well as a separate larger library. If there were a way for me to pay $2.00 to remove ads and the "made with mematic" stamp, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Decent app, but WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for pro version. No way this app is worth a monthly fee. It's a couple dollar, one time charge, app at best. Anyone buying the pro version is crazy or hasn't looked for alternate options hard enough. I might pay the yearly fee as a one time ever charge if you could add multiple captions that change as a video runs.

Limited abilities. The first thing I went to do was make a meme with the whinnie the pooh template. The one that's sorta like the drake template. I select the image, and it has 3 text options, none of which are what I'm looking for. You can either have a caption above the image, a caption below with a black frame, or top text bottom text. Youre not able to move the text at all which makes memes that follow the drake template impossible to create on this app.

I used this often so I went with PRO but something happened perhaps in an update. Now it will not allow me to change font size or colour and the captions have a big dark background. I tried restarting phone also uninstalled app and installed but no fix. If not repaired I will have to cancel.

Whenever I think of a new meme I open memeatic, choose the desired image, and add text. It even automatically transfers all the downloaded memes into one folder. The ads are barely noticable. I used this app for a solid twenty minutes and didn't even notice there was an advertisement at the top. Overall very convinient, highly reccomend.

I love mematic. Now that theve added freestyle to android, I can finally make memes the way I want. However, there is ONE last thing missing from the android. Special layouts. On IPhone, if I wanted to have two separate pictures, I could. On this I can't. Other than that it's amazing, and I can't wait until is up to date.

It's fine, it gets the job done, it's what everyone uses but the biggest problem I have with it is the fact that switching from an iPhone, the iOS version had a much better interface, nicer font (not that it matters), and much more customisability and what you can do with the memes. It's just not fair to Android users.

Great app! I just dislike that it adds a watermark, and it can't be removed without a payment of $5/mo. or $30/yr. I pay for many apps, but those prices seem excessive to me. I would gladly pay a one-time fee of $5 to remove the watermark forever, though.

Unfair. Me and my friend both downloaded this app at the same time so we could compare the difference between the Apple and Android versions. They were COMPLETELY different. The Apple one was great, with so much variety and many, many options for meme making. The Android one... Terrible. It had like 3 formats and customisability was virtually nonexistent. This is not fair on Android users.

originally used cap cut to make memes but every time I exported the image became grainy switched to nematic no more grainy memes, free version is good since I only want to make simple memes. I normally don't leave reviews though I felt I should say this in case anyone has the same experience with cap cut and is looking for an alternative.

I have used thus app for 3 years or more and have loved it. I would have given it more stars, but the company decided that in order for you to use their memes via text message, you have to keep the wording "My Mematic" they add when you are sending it. If you delete this wording you lose the meme and send only the photo to the recipient.

This app apparently only cares if you have apple version so the android version gets completely shafted. Both me and my buddy have the same app on our phone but he gets way more options than I do. For example I don't have the "cutout" icon for better cropping. And yes I do have expert mode on but still missing like two- thirds of the editing options compared to Apple. So if you have android then don't bother downloading.

I really like this app for making memes, it's easy to use and has almost all the tools I'm looking for. The only things I'd wish they would add would be the ability to circle crop for faces and round objects and also the ability to make video memes.

This app is easy to use and I love that I can use images from my own gallery and put whatever text on them wherever I want, including ones downloaded from the internet. Made my friends laugh at my memes on several occasions, which makes me really happy. The only issue I have is that I can't have emojis I use saved with the rest of it, idk why.

It could be a bit better, my expirience with it so far so good, only would be good to have an option to upload 2 pictures together, or edit the writings, and colours. Other than that the app rocks, not many ads, easy to use, simple and does its job, create a meme.

I was very excited to get this but the android version is honestly not worth getting... It has no freestyle mode so you only have three set modes... Not very good. You also cannot search up memes only select from camera role or take an image from "popular" which doesn't have good memes. I don't hate the app becuase it is so good on apple products so I really wish they could provide the same on android... ;-;

So you may have heard this multiple times but yeh, the Android version lacks in comparison to the Apple version... I downloaded the app so that I could make a meme that also had that one Palpatine format , only to learn that I could only use one photo per meme... If you could give this version just enough love and effort as you did for the Apple version then everyone could have a better experience with the app, but for now that was my review I hope you can understand....

I used this app heavily on my iPhone and the iPhone version is still my favorite meme maker app. As soon as I switched to an android it was my first download, and its missing a lot of the current features from the iPhone version that made it so useful. Still useful for basic stuff but nowhere near as much as the other version
