Memo - Sticky Notes Writer

First were the banner ads, and then came the pop up ones after I finish editing a note, and then when I boot up the app an ad with a HIDDEN x pops up. I was considering just throwing money at the app to make it stop but the instant I boot the app I get an ad. And then there are also the "playable" apps that also hide the x with no timer. Really? Fooling people to click on ads or waste time to write a note down just to get some pennies?? You have become a cancer on my phone.

I really dislike that when you minimize the app it backs out of the memo you're working on and goes back to the main list. I also wish it had font/type settings available, such as bold, italics, underline, size, color, etc. Other than r 2 complaints/desired abilities, it's a pretty good memo pad app, and I've been using it for quite a long time now, over several model phones.

This had been a fine app until last week. It downloaded an update and now several times a day when I open the app, it forces me to watch an ad before it opens any of my memos. Even if I watch the ad, look at my memos, open another program and go back 5 seconds later, it's another required ad! There has to be a better app without ads.

Used to be decent with only banner ads, but last month or so they updated it to have more ads than just about any mobile game, unless you pay $15 PER WEEK for the equivalent of Notepad. Just to view a little text note or focus on the app after doing something else prompts yet another ad, so it's like wading through quicksand to do something as simple as view your reminders or that address you needed to remember. Absolutely absurd, deleted, goodbye.

This app used to be awesome. The ads were at the bottom and everything functioned smoothly. Now almost every time you open it and add pops up and you have to sit and wait for the ad to play then clear it to get to your notepad. Then if you want to switch from one note to another, another ad pops up that you can't clear for at least a couple seconds. Very inconvenient. Will be looking for a new notepad to download.

They have added unskippable, full-page popup ads! After 6+ years I have now moved all of my notes to the native Samsung app which was a pain but I am not interested in paying $15 PER WEEK to simply not see ads any time I want to look at my notes. Bummer. This app is bloated with ads. I used it for years and loved it, but now they've made ads appear when you go to write a memo or look at an old one, when you open the app, and if you background it in any way, such as your phone screen going off. Because I used to like it, I was happy to pay for it. However, it costs £14.99 a week for the premium version. There's no option for a one time payment. No option to pay the premium without AI features. They also aren't taking feedback from other reviewers

I installed this app when I first bought this phone, and it was 5 stars. but accidentally i updated it and now the ads always pop up every time I open a memo, and it's incredibly annoying because I'm afraid I'll forget what I wanted to write while waiting for the ads. The monthly fee for the pro update seems unreasonable. I wish I could cancel the update back then.

It was a great app before the most recent update. Now, it's just full of excessive fullscreen ads that are locked behind timers. I don't mind the odd one as the devs have gotta make their money, but an ad opens every single time you open a saved note, which is far too frequent when you have a lot of notes. Get an alternative notes app, there's plenty of other free ones without this issue.

I always loved this app for years because it was simple and to the point, no bloat. Then a few days ago, they added mandatory video ads every time I open the memo or click any button at all. For how frequently I refer to my notes for daily life and even my job, this is completely unacceptable. I'm not shelling out "premium" subscription costs to WRITE TEXT. What a dystopia. I'll either just carry around a paper notepad, which is FREE, or I'm just gonna code up my own BASIC TEXT STORING app.

Updated review: This used to be a 5 star app until this year, the "free version" is now so full of ads that it is unusable. (full page ads that you cannot close) The paid version is ridiculous price. Unfortunately, will be moving over to a different app. gutted, as I had been using the app for almost a decade

Uncool to add ads to an app that has been pop up free for the past 5+ years. There's already banner adds at the bottom of the screen which didn't bother me in the slightest, but having to deal with a pop up when trying to access notes that i use many many times every day? I will be uninstalling and finding an app that doesn't do this

This app used to be my go to for note-taking and saving of useful information. It has recently changed and is now completely bloated with ads and redirects to the playstore. Sometimes requires a force close of the app to get out of the intrusive ads. Absolutely garbage now. Adding insult to injury, they offer a low price to get rid of the ads at only $14.99 per WEEK.

Recent ad update destroyed user experience. Very overpriced premium cost for ad-free use. Use any other app. I've been using this app for years and my only complaint was it moving back to note menu when I switch windows- not great for taking notes from another window. After the recent update, I'll be swapping and never going back. Ads are super invasive and delay note-taking significantly- taking down quick notes was the entire point of using the app. $15 per week for ad-free is ridiculous.

Originally a five star app. works great for notes. been using it for years. They just recently added popup ads. They had banner ads forever and they were fine. But now the pop up ads are really annoying and there's a Pop up Ad every time I open any note. Tone it down a little please and I'll give it a five star.

I've forgotten what I wanted to write by then! £14.99 per week if you want to stop the ads. That is daylight robbery. Will be uninstalling once I move all my notes to a different app!

It was perfect until the app asked to be updated. You cheat me. After the UPDATE (Feb 2025) suddenly is full of ads anytime i open it. I could have pay one off, but you now you are looking for subscription. Don't worry, I will migrate notes into another app, Samsung one, free and no ads. Guys don't waste your time, don't install it. Worst app ever for notes. Deletes all notes when you change settings. Supposed to lock notes but they unlock automatically when you open the window they are in. I have lost so many important things to this piece of junk. I want to throw my phone across the room every time I use it. I'm done. I'm deleting it for good.

Unfortunately I must now change my 5 star review to a 1 star review. I've used this app for years and it's been great, however now the ads frequency, duration, and navigability for these ads have gotten way out of hand. The frequency of the ads, with no clear way to close them once they have played, has now rendered this app useless to me and I'm going to Google Keep now. I hate google products, but I can't use this app any more.

DO NOT UPDATE! Update brings only a ton of very iritating ads! 1 star from me. Too bad there's no option for 0 stars or even minus. @DictionayAndTranslator - You do realize that when you suddenly put a bunch of VERY irritating ads, it makes people delete the app, not pay for it? There's a ton of apps of this type, I just switched to google keep, which is way better btw. Don't be greedy, it's no good for you.
