Messenger SMS: Messages Home

The problem is that this app appeared out of nowhere with no explanation as far as I could see. It was conflicting with three other message apps, and I still am uncertain which app goes with each icon, and I have been unsure which app should I choose, and should I then uninstall the others? Perhaps this is the preferred replacement app. I only recently became aware of its source. What happens to any messages which may be stored within the other 3 apps? I am seeking advice for best choice.

I will try again. It turns out it wasn't the app but the required permissions may be too much for me. If I can't close the app when I need to do so, I will have to uninstall it again. Maybe your techs can change the app so it doesn't have to manage calls, rearrange my "home screen", and choose where to show texts sent to my phone. I understand that the messages are encrypted but the app that sent it probably didn't have that knowledge. I will edit this review after I use this app longer.

If I could give this app zero stars I would. I'm so frustrated right now I simply cannot find the words to express how much I hate this app. The ads will absolutely drive you crazy and there's no way to get rid of them believe me I've tried. Not only are they on the screen when you open the app but they also appear in the text messages!! This app was installed on my phone when I got it and wouldn't give me the option to use another messaging app. Ugh I've never hated an app as much as this one.

I think that this app is trash I think that some definite tweaking needs done. Also I feel for it to once installed change the entire format of your settings of your apps of anything in your phone that's not cool. And I think that if they're going to continue to do this they need to at least give you the for warning because I went through a lot of grief trying to get this out of my fiance's phone

Pestered by 02 to install this app and did so believing it to be a necessary upgrade only to replace Samsung's default message app, but it wasn't that simple. The headline for this app should be "Total Phone Takeover". Avoid if for no other reason than the misleading advertising and lack of explanations about what will happen to your phone. Rapidly uninstalled.

I don't know how I got this app .I got a new phone a I figured it came with my new phone. it is frustrating...took me weeks to figure out how to get it off my phone and when I did...I accidentally deleted my phone LAUNCHER AND ALL MY FILES ATTACHED TO THAT LAUNCHER... Now I'm trying to figure out how to recover my files ... You need to twerk this app for you to get more people to stay with you...to much stuff on the page with distractions

Wrecked my phone. I only installed this app because I kept getting messages saying my old messaging app was going to stop working soon. After the installation my phone is unrecognisable. All of my apps have been removed from my home screen, the number of screens has been reduced to one and i am unable to add the removed apps back to my home screen. Also everyhing looks different, different colours and fonts. Why do we even need a new messaging app? Its just planed obsolescence.

I made the mistake of downloading this when Samsung said to switch to Google Messages. I typed Google Messages in the Google play search bar, this was the first app that came up, so I just assumed that was the right one. FYI it's not! This one is by another company and absolutely awful, trying to launch a whole new view to your phone and won't open messaging if you don't. It also has ads etc.

No Stars. This App loaded , plus allowed a Boost Cleaner to load with it. Next it was not compatible with phone. THEN , somehow, this App managed to stop my phone options to UNINSTALL it. I even went into my Settings, Apps to try... the UNINSTALL option button was deactivated. If you need your phone possessed...AND, "Your" Option Rights "Ghosted" , try it.

I love what you did for me. I'm just afraid I will make a mistake I don't know how to fix. I have to get use to using. I just want to be able to text,n talk safe with Eric safety for him n me. I wish for myself that all passwords were saved. I understand very well also why they are not.. y,all a great job and I think you again for all the work n time u gave to me,,and still do for every body else.

It is invasive. I keep forcing STOP. It keeps returning and interrupting me. I do not want this as my default. I do not want it ont phone at all. Not whatsoever. I am now going to uninstall it in hopes that it goes completely away! All full of rude ads, not in line with my algorithms.

Awesome! Our network system keeps messing up we were unable to make or recieve calls. Thank God the internet worked otherwise we would never have been able to find as welll as download your app., thanks to a friend whom had referred you to me ( uggh! ). So thank you very much, Excellent!

Dreadful experience, Google should remove this app from Play. It actually appears above the official Google messaging app if you search for "Google SMS". It took over my phone, changed everything, and would not allow uninstall. Eventually, I managed to get into Play Store and uninstalled from there. Mercifully, previous phone setup was restored.

My experience is not bad the biggest problem in the world right now is your app I have tried repeatedly to open the app so I can do something with the app so I can get my messages every time I try to do something with this app it stops I even tried to uninstall this app and reinstall it what kind of function is this you can do nothing at all it's like I got to take the phone until we close the whole phone wipe out all my apps on this phone I want something that works

Will add more info once I figure out the cause. Need more hours in the, for sures! l am closing and continuously cleaning or force stopping various apps... I keep thinking the cause could be too many apps (like FIVE Messaging ones!!😟) To be fair tho, I JUST switched from the Motorola browser to using this Google browser. Just recently bought this phone and the saleswoman couldn't figure out how to completely add my account and all info from my old phone to this new Motorola.

Just looking for a SMS widget app, didn't expect to replace the entire UI of the phone and reconfigure the home screens with a bunch of stuff I don't want and without most of what I do. Uninstaller after less than 60 seconds.

trash. full of ads, and makes it near impossible to uninstall if you give the app to many permissions. you have to "force" the app to "stop" in your phone's app management, and then uninstall, if you wish to do that. this is more in response to the complaints below about uninstalling the app. it will totally change your phone.

I'm finding difficulty seeing all of phone contacts over the passed 60 days. No app is bringing those contacts up , I'm wanting to access them to add some of those contacts to a private contact list . Not a single app is bringing any of those phone contacts up, allowing me select for my list. Any ideas?

I downloaded and before I could even look at it, it changed my entire phone layout. My home screen my app folders everything. I couldn't find it in apps and had to remove it from the play store because I couldn't directly from my phone! I just wanted a new message app not an overhaul on my phone

Don't install the app. It absolutely wrecked my phone like others have stated. I asked him to stop sending me that message and they don't they keep wanting me to set it as default I do not want it!!! It's like it kind of you would call hacked my phone. I want it taken off and it keeps coming up to reinstall almost every time know every time I do it I want it off my phone and I want my phone restored but if I do this then I'll lose all my pictures and all my contacts so I'm not going !
