Unless she app should be removed 8 don't usually rate it. I see it as the developers did their jobs and accomplished their goal by making an app that performs as it should. This is one of the few exceptions. THIS APP IS AWESOME! I love it, even the free version is awesome. Especially the drum beats! I already have a musical background and can read music as well as play multiple instruments. Now I'm teaching myself the electric guitar. Being able to design my own drum beats helps a lot!

Can you please make the metronome sound go over the sound on other apps? For example when I turn on a YouTube or Instagram video with a song, I want to keep hearing the metronome together with the song as I compose music on my piano. I just purchased your pro version and hope you can add this feature. Also, can you add more sounds for the metronome click to choose from? I'm looking for sharper metronome sound that is shorter and has no echo, so the beat is more clear. More like a digital snare.

I recommend this metronome, because it does what it's supposed to do.: make practice easy to a measured beat. This takes the burden off the musician for creating the beat and allows for creative development. At the same time the musician develops a more nuanced sense of timing as well. That's how it works with me anyway. I use this tool in timed practice intervals. By adding a beat a day, I see my speed increases on the guitar exercises. The metronome is great addition to my practice regimen. 👍

This works extremely well for my exercise routine. One beat per measure for my chosen rate per minute. My favorite (apparently unique) feature is the ability to increase the tempo automatically. I can also set the maximum rate. All I have to do then is start the beat and pedal or row until it stops. Super easy to do even while half awake every morning. One very minor wish list item would be to have some sort of finsh sound as a kind of "reward" for finishing your session. Thanks for a great app.

I'm just using the most basic functions of the app, to keep track of one of my PT exercises, that requires me to hold each rep for 5 seconds. I set the bpm to 60, set 8 beats to the bar, and put the emphasis on 3 consecutive beats. Presto! Now I have an auditory cue for a 5-second hold and a 3-second rest. Works perfectly, and it was very easy to set up.

I'm relearning how to play bass guitar properly, and this app is making unlearning bad habits a lot easier. I love how there's a timer that lets you know how long you've been practicing. Best of all, you can make an analog of drum tracks you've heard and practice at lower speed. Great for an old dog like me to learn new tricks. Hell, I might take up jazz and tech metal!

The free version/capabilities are perfect for my needs, which requires only basic time signatures. The auto-increase tempo function...*chef's kiss*. I have not compared this to other similar free metronome apps, so there may be better apps out there, but this is a pretty good start to finding a baseline out of what you may want/need from your app. I haven't had the need to even look into the paid version's functionality, so I can't speak to that. Not buggy at all with my Samsung Galaxy 9.

This is a stock standard metronome app. Which is fantastic! I can subdivide beats by as many values as I want, change the bar structure, tap a tempo, change the sounds.... basically everything you'd want from a metronome. And by far, its best value feature is that you can make a one-time purchase and not have to worry about any subscription rubbish. THANK YOU to the devs for not going that route. The ONLY feature that I feel is missing is a vocal sound set to count rather than just presets.

I needed an app for exercising. I wanted two tone's: the first part/tone with three beats and the second part/tone with two beats. This is the only app I found that could do it. I went ahead and paid for the app. Maybe you could do it with the free version, but I couldn't figure out how. In any event it's been very helpful for my workout five stars.

PERFECT APP! LOVE IT!! I use this app to help me to go to sleep at night. The slow, steady beats lull me right to sleep every night in about 15 min. I like that there's a variety of different sounds to choose from and a timer I can set to have the app shut off. I also like being able to control the speed of the beats. Not a lot of ads getting in the way either.

I started with metronome, liked it and went on to Pro. I thought it was a one year subscription, didn't work out that way. I think it was something in my phone because several other apps have - had issues. Purchased the metronome again today for $4.99 and that too, went away. I am not blaming Stonekick, it was good while it lasted though.

Excellent app. The beat making is great. Tapping the save icon should default to the active beat's saved name, not a new file name. I'd love to have more cymbals and toms and a snare-off snare. (After this, my app quit working in the car. Only plays while Spotify is also playing. Dev has reached out to help with the issues, that's a plus.)

Highly configurable metronome app, better than others I tried. I use it to monitor my running cadence, e.g., 180 steps per minute; w/ a beat on every other step in my Aftershokz Bluetooth phones, I land my right foot with each beat. (Short strides help me avoid recurrence of the heel pain of plantar fasciitis.) I like the clave sound: easy to hear, not annoying. The ads are low key, not a problem for me.

I use the metronome app for guitar fretboard memorization: playing the same note across all six strings, within the first twelve frets, first up then down and repeating with all the notes. Great exercise. The metronome drives home memorization & recall by the urgency of having to find and play the next note on time, starting at 40bpm and working toward 80bpm. I don't really use it to practice songs or scales as I tend to play with backing tracks, instead. Great tool. Well designed interface.

I just got this app and knew nothing about how to use it. I am using it for 4 beats on a specific breathing pattern. I was able to figure it out and love it. It offers so much. Even volume control. Can hardly wait for time to play with it. Might be several months. I give it a 5 because it seems to be so generous with all of its uses. I may even take up a few drumming beats. Thanks!!!

This is undoubtedly the best, no bells and whistles metronome app, with required options, and simple user interface. Most importantly, the app has the option to keep it on in background, along with other audio sources, termed as audio focus. Kudos, team!

I find the metronome beats app useful, as it can blend well with the Perfect Piano phone apps when played together. You can switched between apps to control the loudness played on the metronome beats while the other apps are playing. It is easy to use with the simple screen interface that allows you to change the tempo easily. The drum beats pattern played are shown clearly on each count. What a great apps for musicians learning to sing and play chords with accompaniment drum beats rhythm.

Thank you for a great app - most of all, for everything it had to offer even with the free version. It wasn't loaded with ads that constantly and excessively interupt the use of the app like so many others, and it was honest. Due to this, I purchased it to support you folks. Little things like that go a long way. Best metronome app there is, and also has polyrhythms, a drumkit, beat editing, and so many premade beats to choose from, from many different genres.

Love it so far. I just needed a simple metronome but these developers went above and beyond just a simple metronome app. Having free drum tracks is a great bonus even with the free version. Also one of the first metronome apps that I don't find insufferable to listen to.

This was the first metronome app I downloaded when I bought my bass two years ago. I've used several others since, and keep coming back to this one. my dad, a bassist of forty years, saw me use the drum kit function and immediately downloaded it himself. he still uses it, and loves it. take it from two bassists with a combined 42 years of experience (or just take it from my dad) - this is the best metronome app on the citadel
