Might be the worst app I've ever seen. The app doesn't even work. It forces some BS ad on you with no way out except to close the app or buy the product. So even if I want to use the app (I've tried, just to test it) I cant cuz once the ad starts there's no end except to kill the app. It never gets to the part where you can look at the article. Complete trash!

My first review was back in 2022, we're now approaching 2026, and the app is even more annoying, and intrusive...it just keeps opening up whenever I open my phone, or my alarm goes off. I mean WT????? So unnecessary, let me decide if, and when I want to open this app. UPDATE: I tried force stopping, disabling, but it just keeps popping up...wish I could give it a ZERO.

I hate that this app keeps popping up and is continuously running in the background. I have Uninstalled this stupid app a few times and it keeps coming up as "open apps" and drains my freaking battery. I never requested it to even be on my phone. I'm irritated. If I could give it a zero star, I would. I don't complain much but this is ridiculous!!!!!!!

As with most apps, you had a good product but you decided to "upgrade" and made it into an irritating feature. Now in order for me to make use of any portion of the app, even with no permissions turned on, this app still draws power from my battery when not in use and still seems to keep adding to data storage when I specifically "disabled" all permissions in the settings.

I've had my phone for a few years with no peep from this app when, out of nowhere, it started giving me notifications. I went into the app to stop them, then it changed tactics. Whenever I opened my phone, the app would open. Sometimes, I'd be in the middle of a game and my progress would be gone because this app decided it wanted to open to show me something better than what I was already doing. I finally disabled it, though that was apparently at risk of making my entire phone act up. 0/10

The ads in the articlss are strategically placed so that you click them by accident. The article you click on is usually titled incorrectly. Clicking through 47 pages of nonsense, and still not getting to the page that the cover photo shows is frustrating. The horoscopes will say the same thing on different signs. And the app opens every time I open my phone. Like, really? Photo articles are cool, though.

every time I pick up my phone I have multiple notifications and news alerts from this app. the majority of the time they're just BS notifications. I've done force stops on this app several times, but it doesn't do any good, they just keep comin. I've even tried to uninstall it, which is typically simple and straightforward, but not for this app, now it has the option to update or open, the option to uninstall is gone...

I don't like this app. No offense. I like Metro's service. What I dont like is the app pops up every time I turn on my phone or push the side button or whenever it just cones on when I look at the phone. Annoying. Then I have to close it out ever single time I get on my phone. There should be an option if you want it to pop up every time you go on your phone. To be able to turn it off and habe just a notification option.

WOULD be nice if there just wasn't so many ads and it didn't just pop up on your phone every 2 seconds. The news on it also isn't all that great or even relevant at all. There's a cool little fortune cookie thing that comes up every once in awhile and it's a quick way to check your horoscope, but honestly Metro could do alot better. And apparently it's almost impossible to uninstall and delete, but I should've kind of suspected that when it came pre-installed on my phone. Overall not good.

keeps popping up as a malicious virus. uninstalled lets see if it works. Metro needs to look into this. I like metro. I have been a customer for a long time but since it merged service isn't the same. Needs alot of work. Customer service needs alot of work. GET VIRUS PROTECTION. This app is worse then before it just keeps crashing after the last update.

I can't give anything less than one star in order for my review to post. ever since I've tried to use metrozone, it has always given me information for the wrong location. I have put in my zip code and for some reason it's an absolute different location so gas prices along with events in my location are not available to me. I have reported it several times but to no avail. It's not useful and I can't delete it. it's just taking up space on my phone. Truth

I don't like trying to read an article & being interupted with constant advertisements. i don't mind some but it seems u can never get to the end, so I just give up. & rarely click on to read more. eventually i'll quit looking at it at all. its just too frustrating & time consuming trying to find something out. I like short & straight to the point then to another article.

Okay, I am lowering my initial grade because of the new ads that pop up for the articles. They make you sit thru an extraordinarily long ad. Then when you think it's over the skip makes you sit thru the"try this game" part of the ad. Then after that when you finally get an X to see the article it goes in a circle for 10 seconds and then the article either is not worth the read, or it does not load. So you have watched all that ad for nothing. Evony the kings return and match factory are the game

A bully of an app. It pops up first thing, unannounced, no way to get ride of it off of the device. Lingers, stalks, anticipates my arrival, and then boom! Takes forever to load. When I look at the content most of it is garbage, when it forces me to look at it again the next day, still same garbage. Just because I purchase a phone and phone service through MetroPCS doesn't give them the rite to invade, secure, and plant their advertising to the device. I paid, so drop metrozone please.

I really enjoy some of their articles. That being said, all of a sudden I get this little pop up box full of ads overlapping some of the article I am reading. Also, I see a lot of the same articles on the page keep coming up, some are very outdated! Well they asked me to update but also to rate! I took 1 star away as it has been awful due to reasons stated above. Metro PCS is the BEST! Just went thru hurricane Ian and I was the only one in my family who never lost service and even had internet!

Whenever it isn't set to never use in background while also setting restrictions keeping it from using data/wifi (which is only way to get rid of it since you can't uninstall) this app is like a super annoying "random timing pop-up ad" (usually in game apps) that is a part of using your phone. Randomly opens a full screen page at any given moment, which a lot of times it will close the app you had up. I.E. If you are on a gaming app or music app will close them out completely.

Seems like every article/news clip is AI generated and just used to harvest data, not to mention every time I open my phone it's the 1st thing to pop up, I could go on... but I'll leave it with this stat, according to the reviews it only has 1 review rated as 1 stat, which I found insane, so I decided to look at the reviews and the first 4 are one star, on a side note to uninstall you have to go to the bottom option under the app. 'you can uninstall through Google play "

Almost every news story they forced on my feed requires me to download another app or sign up for something. I'm paying over 50 per line on a plan that was supposed to be 25 and everything needs to be downloaded or paid for. Ridiculous. I've had this service for over a year. It was originally 121 a month. Now it's 171. For 3 lines on paid off phones.

Uninstall it! It doesn't do anything bad to your device, and the pain will stop. I have found no side effects from uninstalling metro zone. Be brave, and empty your cashe, delete your data, and uninstall the app if you don't like it. I have met folks who like their daily briefing, as they (my friend) refers to it. I don't, so I made it go away. Best of luck cutting those chains.

I'm so annoyed with the pop-up opening page when you unlock. I would absolutely like the option to turn it off or at least be able to customize ads more relevant & interesting to me & my local area. However, like someone else commented, I am forced to look at some news that I would probably never look at, so sometime I can consider it a plus.
