Company may be a scam/front. App lacks features and significantly slowed down phone and internet, and connecting a device was a hassle, but it'd be 3 stars if not for another issue. My device had a quality issue, and not only was it and several others I was interested in delisted, but multiple nearly identical devices had been listed under different brands and at a similar price to what I'd bought it for "on sale". If the products are sketchy, who knows why this app slowed my phone down so much!

App requires far too much information just to set up a few devices, such as the e-ink clocks. It requires a valid phone number as well. Considering the daily spam calls I get these days, I'd rather not give my phone number out to anyone. I just need to set the time on a clock. I don't need an entire smart home ecosystem for that. Partially my fault for thinking this could be simple. I find the general data mining to be very creepy and unsettling. Deleted the app.

Got the app to sync with the scale. It's laughably bad and inaccurate. For example, it estimates BMI and fat percentage, then uses *different values* to determine if I'm over it under weight. The scale itself is not particularly accurate, but it's the app that misinterprets the result. If this is the data Xiaomi is collecting, I feel pity for the data analysts who must sift through it.

Terrible app! When it asks to confirm that I’m not a robot, it shows way too many images, and even after selecting them correctly, it still doesn’t let me proceed. During login, it asks for a code sent to my email. However, as soon as I minimize the app to check the code and then return, the login process resets and I have to start all over again. It becomes an endless loop. You also can’t use the same account on two phones at the same time — it logs you out from one device immediately.

After the January 2026 update, both of our Xiaomi CCTV cameras have been experiencing issues. When opening the cameras in the app, they show as device offline one minute earlier than the indicated date and time. They also frequently appear offline even though they are actually online and recording. I have already reset both devices twice, but the issue persists. Last year, everything worked perfectly, but now the cameras are nearly unusable.

App works fine mostly but the notifications are not working, on Xiaomi phones no less, and it has never worked since my last phone a few years ago, on MIUI and now new phone on HyperOS no matter what settings I changed, ironic really because it works fine on non Xiaomi phones for some reason. It also seems to have something to do with the region and how they handle push notifications

Used to be good then they broke things. Clearly their QA process is lacking. Otherwise they would know their most recent update doesn't fit when you have the navigation buttons on the bottom of your phone. Why they felt they needed to make it taller is beyond me. Guessing some young/dumb anal retentive developer that they hired on the cheap coming directly out of high school.

Terrible app. I will not buy next xiaomi scooter only because of the app. I can't connect my device to the app which was disconneced because of app update. I didn't do a thing...Just one day - no devices i. the app anyomore. You want to add it? Good luck. Tried changing regions, new accounts and always gets that my scooter which was only ever connected to the same phone I am trying to connect again is connected to other device! and now I cant lock my scooter

This review necessarily covers both the app and connections, you can't have one without the other. The app has a nice interface, with useful features and usually works well, but it has been very difficult for me to link items to the app. It usually takes upwards of a dozen attempts per item. Big problems with the doorbell, which spontaneously loses contact after linking, although it still shows as linked. Very difficult to get any decent support. Too many demands to use expensive paid services.

the app doesnt work at all. I have only onendevice - xiaomi scale for body things like water, muscle mass, fat mass,etc. . before it only opened at least the history of measurements and it was hard to conect the scale with app... but on like third time it worked... now it not even open that stupid history... when i click on scale on menu it shows three dots like "iam loading" and then iam back on menu.

Ten login experience is the most terrible thing I encountered. It asks you to add email and then when you switch to email and back then you have to start again... Not possible to get to your account to add email. It reset the app also when you resize the window.

I used app for last 5 years, today it started to request to input phone number, whyyyy? I don't want to share it, I do want to be unprotected, I cannot skip the step, but even if I input my number it replies "This phone number format isn't supported in your account's region". Common! what's going on?! Ridiculous!!

I use 3 x Xiaomi SmartHome cameras. After the last update, everything was confused on the app. Doesn't shown notifications on the screen , for example I must open the app to see missed notifications and also another problem on the videos from 9 sec , at some point 3,4sec the video freezes lol.

I transferred data including this app from my old T11 phone to my new T15 but when I wanted to start my vacuum cleaner it asked for me to create an account. When I did, it told me that there is already an account with the email address I entered. Whatever password I use it tells me Password don't match. Very frustrating. I've uninstalled the app, re installed it and the same thing happens.

this apps is worse than those unknown brand of CCTV, it takes forever to load the playback and out of sudden it will just gone. You will have a hard time to even check on the footage, not even downloading it cause you can't reach that step!

If the app is set to Russia region - it sees no router. if set to China - sees the router but can't connect Russian router to China region. Asks to change the app settings to Russia. But in mode "Russia" the router disappears again. the app can't see it. all xiaomi devices don't connect to phone easily. spend days trying to connect. just curious where they've found programmers - in kindergarten? even schoolchildren would write better apps.

A very solid app, I only use it for the security cameras and I'm able to preview LIVE camera feeds from all the cameras I have, I've never seen than from any other brand/company, love that. Playback from the SD card could be a little more user friendly but I can live with that.

1. Requirement to be connected to the internet just to use my own local device. 2. Can't disable mesh notification. An awful marketing tactic to force me to buy one. 3. When an application doesn't work, it doesn't show a single message about what went wrong. 4. Graphs aren't smoothed out and you can't see the whole chart as one continuous. Good luck getting actually important *tendencies* instead of raw data. 5. Can't export data either. Whoever made this up clearly doesn't use it or care.

The app has had many problems since the last update; it doesn't allow me to view the cameras, and it doesn't let me connect to the camera immediately like before, and it won't let me connect to the vacuum cleaner's camera either.

I somehow got logged out, and when I try to sign back in via the email verification page it just tells me "couldn't sign in" For a "smart home" application it is not very smart. smart home camera registration was so frustrating, the camera could not detect the QR code.
