Mi Video - Video player

Great video player, terrible app... The video player itself is great, i love the gestures and control you have, along with the different options. But no Xiaomi, I don't want a random YouTube like welcome page, I wouldn't mind the ads if they weren't in the middle of the screen in the video player when I pause a video... At least let me change the welcome page...

Turning off online features only "mutes" them for 30-90 days. I do NOT want a social media app, I just want to be able to watch my own videos on my phone in private. And I can't even uninstall this stupid thing because it's a "system app". If this sort of policy continues, I'm never buying another xiaomi product again. User choice matters.

For those rating this 1 star just because of ads, you didn't do your research. The ads are part of Xiaomi's business model for maintaining low device prices. They use advertisements within system applications including Mi Video, File Manager, and Music to offset the costs of their budget-friendly hardware. Yep, thats why we could afford Xiaomi phones better than Samsung.

WASTE OF TIME!!! You are not really watching series of drama but series of uncountable ads. Too much ads,its just like every one minute you have ads. And you have no choice but to watch the ads if you want to continue watching. At first they will give you lots of points at the beginning until you almost reach 200 it seems you will spend all your life watching ads just to reach 300 to able to withdraw. I have a feeling its a Big scam.

Xiaomi phones are incredible. Compared to Korean and American brands, they deliver on performance at a fraction of the price. However, this invasive app is driving me crazy. I will need to shut down the photo gallery every time I watch a video, because this app shows up at the end, and there is no easy way to shut it off. At this point, I am reconsidering switching to another brand of Android phone which is more friendly.

i wish if the icon of moment doesn't work of default , to do not distribute Customers , in addition to the icon or button who should to clicked to download a content its doesn't work sometimes in other sites , it's a negative point 😔,i think that's all what i noticed 🙂↗️ I wish if this problem's will be resolved to get best experience, 😅❤️

No way to remove, turn off or otherwise stop it from sending unnecessary notifications about random videos you never wanted to hear about. Something curious about this: if you never even open the app, it is quiet, after opening it even once, you never hear the end of it (1 notification per day, that's 365 per year). Removal of acceptance of it's "Terms and Conditions" change nothing. It also asks for the acceptance every single startup. Device: Xiaomi Redmi A5 It was pre-installed.

Lovely, easy to use, with modern animations. I really like it. However, I have one concern: the online short videos are not enough because they are not available in English or my native language, and the video coverage is limited. Overall, this is a fantastic app 😍.

Too much annoying ads. It'll keep bringing you to a social media type interface when all you wanna do is watch personal videos. Very inefficient and bothersome.

garbage program which show all unwanted ads, vids from first second after opening, and I want to watch local files. Just go elsewhere and look for something better.

Full of ads, video promotions and notifications that cannot be stopped. Was good for a while, but now super annoying, even after disabling "recommendations" still annoys you with ads all the time.

this app doesn't pay , I have done my task of completing $300 in order to withdraw guess what? it says now watch 178 videos in order to complete your withdrawal,, 😴,please stop fooling us , yhoooo !! I don't whant to mention about ads , that one data loss , this app robbed me of my time and data , I won't recommend it to anyone!!!!!!!! fake false promise

I don't understand how your app works. when I download with it the downloads just freeze or they say they can't download, they also pend too long. when entering a new website it's hard to tell if you actually pressed the url and the app is responding or it's just frozen. I am confused , I just updated it but I don't see a difference. when clicking icons (videos on websites for example) it's hard to identify how the app is responding,it's just not showing any response.

I don't understand why this app keeps opening everytime I try to view my videos in the gallery but it is very annoying. Awful app idea that doesn't bring anything good, fun nor useful. This app alone has convinced me to never buy a xiaomi phone again in the future.

this app came with the phone and it's awesome for watching videos I watch anime and study material so I need to be able to quickly rewind skip ten seconds forward or back or zoom in or out to make the video bigger or smaller and it works great I'm surprised it was pre installed

I need a local offline video player, better integrated with the gallery app (so it autostarts when video file is selected). Don't care about the online features, it's just noise and irrelevant.

It would be better if you have the filtering option using file extensions. No one wanted to manually select media one by one for playlists

I don't like this application, it has to be updated every day. My cellphone often turns off when I want to charge it because of the influence of the update. It forces me to update, that's not good.😂😂

the app doesn't appear even though my phone is Xiaomi Redmi, even in my last phone. it only appeared before when I logged in from the gallery but with the new update it doesn't appear at all.

Despite being the default for Xiaomi devices (and I love everything Xiaomi, you guys have the best systems ever) it has ads! Instead of running a video smoothly, like any normal video player, it's full of ads! I just want to watch a video! I also don't want to see other people's videos! The other day a very obscene one began after a kid that I was babysitting watched an animation that I made! I was mortified! I reported the video, still it shouldn't be there! I only use it offline now.
