You say you've fixed some bugs. How about the one that says, "Processing your request. If this page doesn't refresh automatically resubmit your request." (which you can't do). Also, the barcode scanner NEVER works for me. I've almost given up on the app. I'll just use the website.
Completely useless wish list/favorite lists. I haven't been able to purchase anything online for months. I can't take advantage of the online only coupons. So frustrating. update- so the app was updated and they say they "fixed a few bugs"??? But not all of them? What's the point of a wish list or favorites list if you can't add anything to them? Been trying multiple times, still completely useless!
Literally the worst rewards app ive ever used. Took me 45 minutes just to make an account. And then it literally did not let me sign into the rewards program. I also tried to put my birthday in, which is 07/16, but it kept putting it in like 16/07 and then saying it was an invalid date. There should be a zero stars option because if there was, i would use it for this app.
After creating an account, verifying my email address, and logging in, the first thing I do is try to add the item I want to my wishlist so I can bring up the listing quickly when I arrive at the store. App says "don't have permission to operation". Lol what a joke.
Won't let me connect to the app, Already have had issues with the points/rewards system ever since I gave them my phone number. I love shopping in store but this is ridiculous honestly. Makes me despise the whole thing entirely. Fix it please this is keeping customers from shopping with you.
latest update has made the main reason I use the app unusable. when you go to coupons or savings a box popups (blocking the barcode) saying "processing request if this does not automatically close refresh" except it freezes the app, can't close it, go back, refresh, etc. can only close the app.
As a rule, I don't have any problems with ordering online. Today was different. I placed an order, and out of 4 items, I forgot to check the ship box. I called in less than 30 min of placing my order to try and change that item to shipping from pick-up. It is not just a hop, skip, and a job to go pick up my item. I think Michaels should allow a time frame to make a change to your order. They were willing to cancel my order that was being processed but not make a change on that one item. 🤔
The updated app doesn't seem any better than the original glitchy app! Yes, finding items is now a little bit easier, but I am CONSTANTLY being signed out when I close the app. I made an order after the update and was delivered no issues, but I have been trying to make a another order for two days now and the app won't even let me checkout my order anymore! I keep getting an error message claiming that "same day delivery is currently available" at a branch I NEVER EVEN SELECTED. Please fix asap!
This new app sucks. Once you've entered your credit card information it takes you to a store shipping address confirmation, when you hit confirm, nothing happens. You go back to where you've entered your payment information. There are no additional buttons to confirm and finalize payment. This needs to be fixed. Way easier just to go to the store and buy what you need. What a waste of time!
Convenient to have coupons, offers, and rewards card in one place. But it takes FOREVER to get through the steps for online purchase. Every time I click a button to confirm one step, it takes a really long time to move to the next. I'm tempted to go through Amazon next time instead if I can't find what I need in person at my local Michael's store.
The app worked well until a couple of weeks ago when it randomly logged me out, and when I tried log in I received an error code saying "this does not match our records". I tried to reset my password, which worked to log onto the website, but still received the error code with the app. The app is still functional enough to search for products, but not being able to log into the company's rewards program is an unfortunate design flaw.
When using to make a purchase, it doesn't do the number style dialogue box for the coupon code. And why if I'm in the app would I need to add manually, it should be applied automatically or be an option in a drop down box. And then you can't even see the number as you are adding it because it won't let you scroll down with open dialogue box. It's a minor inconvenience, but is so easy to rectify.
Just had to ruin a good thing. The Coupon system totally ruined. Before when you had the barcode for your account and the daily Coupon all on one page it just made sense. The cashier scanned both and all was good. And now you have the Coupon on a banner on the home page and it completely blends in with everything else going on. I feel bad for the older shoppers that will have a hard time figuring it out.
I've made a couple orders and when 1 was late the offered me the choice of money back or my order again I took my order I really need the order to finish a project and instead of my order I received double very nice surprise
I love this app! As someone who shops at both of my local Michael's stores AT LEAST 4 days a week for yarn (Yes, I am a yarn goblin), spending hundreds of dollars a week (I swear I can still buy food!) this app makes it so much easier. I've had issues with ordering through the browser, with my cart emptying itself., but not with the app. Plus, if they ever actually do anything with the Michael's Rewards program, and make it not pointless, there is already a tab for it! 👍
Latest update seems to be making the app run smoother, but I'm very disappointed that my favorites/wish list was deleted in the process of the update. I used it as a way to track what I was running low on, etc, and now I'll have to go through all my supplies to figure out what I need, which is time consuming and frustrating
The 1st time I used the app (last week) it worked ok - made a purchase for in store pickup of DMC thread. Trying to do a similar purchase, only difference is I changed the pick up store (my usual is out of some items I want, no big deal). Every time I go through the check out process, the app takes me back to the beginning of the checkout process after I complete everything. Very frustrated.
The most inaccessible experience I have ever had. Let me see my password when I'm trying to reset it it took me forever to get them to match. Then it emptied my shopping cart. Then I had to enter a special code to do my check out. It just took me 30 minutes to buy a frame. Next time I will go to Amazon I don't care how much it costs anything is better than this.
Not sure what the problem is but I've never been able to use the app, says my email doesn't exist, then when I try and open am account it says "email already in use" NOW you've had the audacity to change the way coupons work, so I can't get to them without signing into the app.... I'm an artist I sell $100's worth of art every month, for over a month now I've been using winners.... your loss Michael's.
Old app was glitchy but at least it knew who I was. Michaels revamped their website and therefore app. As someone who was on it almost daily, I can no longer log in and access my account, purchase history, and favourites. Keeps saying something is wrong/isn't in their system yet it worked fine yesterday.
