Love that there's a mobile app, and that I can access cloud shell on my phone. I feel like a major missing feature is a UI within the app to start an automation account runbook and set the parameters. This would allow admins to create runbooks to perform pre-defined corrective actions against resources specified in the parameters for easy break/fix issues (e.g. restart a service that's acting up) when they don't have easy access to a computer and without having to try to script it by hand in the cloud shell on a mobile device.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent app for managing Microsoft Azure on the go! It’s easy to monitor resource health, check alerts, view performance metrics, and even restart services right from my phone. The interface is clean and intuitive, so I can stay connected to my Azure environment anytime, anywhere. Highly recommended for developers and cloud professionals!
I was hoping to have something I could use to play in my Azure sandbox while laying down. Color me disappointed. I can monitor graphs and events, modify some permissions, and work with the cloud shell (which isn’t particularly convenient with a phone keyboard). I can't create resources or really see how there’s are my interconnected.
Extremely useful for managing and monitoring your cloud resources on the go.
Amazing App It's very easy to navigate and I can easily do the labs using CLI and PowerShell
I like azure because of the features they give to all and particularly to the students they give so students build real world project and host there projects and they get real world experience how to manage vps and thnks to azure for give me students benifits
The app is user-friendly, but I personally miss the widgets in it for the OS desktop. Please add widgets to display the total cost in real time (by subscription or total).
Easy to use, fast and flexible.
Great for a quick glance of your cloud infra while on the go.
'Enable custom notifications' toggle disables itself when I close the app. Have to uninstall and reinstall the app. Then it works for a few weeks before doing it again. Friend at a large company has the same problem, but they can't uninstall the app on their company phone. IT is working with them to try that. This is not okay, Microsoft.
helps us to check the current configuration of the resources and have a view on the on going project it wud be better if added more features
App keeps crashing, android 16, pixel 6. Was great while it lasted. Microsoft why do you keep making previously stable products worse?
Provides birds eye view on things that matters. Previews resource status snapshot.
Cloud Shell cannot handle and receive clipboard content.
Useless since for half the stuff you need to use the browser anyway, most features are not present in the app
It's an unwieldy mess of redirects.
The voice cloning is one of the first non-GitHub results when searching, but I can't even use it because I'm not a corporation partnered with Microsoft. Glad that's stated clearly somewhere and not something I had to find out through a long application process. I can't even delete my billing info because the cancelled subscription can't be deleted for several days after it's cancelled. Thanks for wasting my damn time.
Only the most basic functionality is supported, which renders the app almost useless. Every time I open I end up having to load using my browser to get to the information I need. You can pull up AppInsights performance, but not dependencies. I can open AKS, but no visibility into nodes, pods, or containers. No log analytics, ect.
What can I say, it's Microsoft. Welcome to the world of illogical UI layouts that leads to a terrible UI experience, easy access to sales but good luck getting a hold of tech support. And when you finally get a hold of tech support be prepared to deal with strong dialect and language barrier issues. It's a terrible service experience. If I can sum it all up, "🖕 Microsoft. "
Dunno how useful the app is, because haven't used it much. But a really annoying thing was receiving notifications for alerts. Azure is spamming alerts of level 4 atm. Might be good to 1) filter by severity, so I'm not receiving any alert above 3 for example and 2) being able to see what the alert is about, because right now, you need to go to the portal to read the detail of the alert, further bothering me when this is something of little importance
