For being around as long as it has, the app still needs some work. I'll keep reporting the bugs I find because I'm desperate for something that isn't Facebook. Current bug: Attempted to manage my tags and the app crashes due to fatal error and I have to force stop the app and reopen. I can reproduce the error whenever I want and I got a screenshot of it. That being said, I really want to spend $20 a year for a social platform, but you have to earn it. That's how mobile apps work.

I don't want to give it 1 star because it WOULD be a great platform IF you could type more than 50 characters before input slows to a crawl taking up to half a minute for any of your text to actually register, but if you wrote a full sentence it will take longer, and that's on my phone which is very powerful. This issue is also on the website, and it's been an issue for me for YEARS. I don't understand how nobody has seemed to care about such a huge issue that prevents anyone from saying much.

IMO, not trustworthy. I built up tokens to grow organically in a "wallet" that no longer exists. I went to use those tokens I've built up, and my wallet is nowhere to be found in the app! Instead, it brings up an in-app 1-click purchase with my credit card (which I don't believe I ever gave or authorized). Beware! When I first joined anyone could earn, now you have to pay to earn. Their "tokens" are apparently worthless as they simply make them inaccessible.

Minds is a wonderful social media platform that has massive potential. That being said the Android version of the app is still a bit clunky and has some issues. For example I was unable to edit my avatar, banner, or change notification settings from the app. It also appears that I cannot create an "on chain" wallet or password for the block chain tokens. I'm a patient person and will stick around for the fixes. Hope to upgrade this app to 5 stars soon!

For those having password problems with the app, I suggest a work-around by going to a regular PC to set up you password first. That worked for me and I am able to log in fine. DON'T LET a little technical glitch stop you from leaving Fascistbook! I'm leaving this as 4 stars because the password problem DOES need to be fixed, and I encountered an error loading pics, but just once. VERY COOL FEATURE: It lets me use my phone's gallery app to choose images rather than how FB does it with a buggy in-app selector. Now I can organize them how I want! What a relief!

App was working well, but suddenly I started seeing "can't be shown on apps installed via the store" on a good half of the channels I subscribe to. It's been happening more and more. I'd suggest finding a non app store product, as the entire reason to get Minds is to avoid censorship and arbitrary requirements from Apple and Google. If they're bowing to the app store, the entire reason to have this app just went out the window. If they fix this, it'll go back up to a 5 star.

I dunno. This is the one I just downloaded from Google Play ( hopefully for mobile). I noticed on the last upgrade of the MiNDS app that it had apparently merged with the MiNDS chat app, and this caused a glitch on my phone: the icon no longer show us up whenever I post a picture from the gallery, i. e. it's not even pictured among the panoply of icons at the bottom of my phone, when I upload from my gallery of pic posts. So it's just a little more tedious now.

can't sign up, just get an error message every time even after reinstall.

I love the app but still learning how to use the features and many more, giving it four star it's because am still learning more about the app you guys should download and use the great app features ♥️🥰🥰🥰

Trying to create an account on Minds and it is telling me my password is wrong (yes it has all the green ticks) but I haven't even created the account yet.. so how can my password be wrong? Not off to a good start Minds. EDIT- Problem sorted now, even though it was showing green ticks for the password it still needed a symbol of some sort, as well as the letters and numbers I had used. So far the app is looking interesting now I'm actually on it.. I just need to get more of my friends to join

It seems to do the job but there are some annoying quirks. For example, I do not get notifications pop up when I am not using the app. Would be really cool for this to happen so I know I get a reply on one of the groups I am part of. Also, it has a weird text format where if I need to edit an earlier part, it's extremely hard to do so and it seems to overtype text later on in my edited post

error on login. can't even make an account

I gave this site 4 stars,I just joined. Still trying to figure out how it all works. Once I do that,I change my rating. One thing I like about it,you can make money with it.

In trying to leave Farcebook behind i wanted to try this..but it wont let me create a password. keeps giving me this message saying its got to be more than 8 characters which it is, and included numbers, letters, uppercase, lowercase, and again more than 8. Can someone advise? One star till that gets figured out because ive been fighting with it almost an hour.

I wouldn't be too lazy to use the app if only it doesn't log me out almost everytime there's an update or after a while. Leaving my forgetful mind struggling what's my username along with the password. Stop. Logging. Me. Out. If you want this site to be famous and gets better.. Stop. Logging. People. Out. || Tried logging in, password incorrect. Clicked forgot password, error. Locked out forever maybe.

Lots of issues with photo uploads (especially on photos that have been migrated to the Cloud ON Google Pixel. The mobile interface isn't even as good as the mobile website. The interface is also slightly confusing, as I can't figure out if everyone sees everything or if you can also have friends see things (other than the paywall feature).

I had a slight problem setting up the bank details but Ben at Minds got right onto it very quickly and helped me sort it out. Your best bet is to set up the banking through the browser version rather than the Play Store app or, at least, if you're in Australia. Thanks Ben, very courteous and most helpful. Use Minds, it's great!!

I made a profile & then quickly discovered it isn't what I thought. So I attempted to remove my profile. But first I'm asked to reenter password. Then was told that was the wrong password. Odd. Alright, let me try to at least just deactivate my profile until I figure it out. Nope, deactivating calls for a password too! Keeps saying my password is wrong. Alright, let me press HELP and see who to contact for answers. Nuh-uh, server's down, try again later message appears. App doesn't work, move on

So far it's a mostly decent place, congrats on that. But the reply box is completely malfunctional. Once you type a paragraph you can't get to the text at the bottom or the reply/post button. Seems an awfully fundamental issue not to have solved before you go live. Also some people's replies in my feed are cut off without the button to "see more". So I really can't give a 3 stars or higher atm. I'm on a Oneplus Nord and have tried minimizing text size to no avail.
