Mindvalley: Self Improvement

The content is great. I'd give the content a 5*. Recently the app is not functioning as it used to. I do a bedtime meditation every night. When my home Wi-Fi shuts down, my phone goes to carrier side, yet the app doesn't log the hour long meditation. Since I started this self improvement process on Sept. 8, the app crashed 3 times on me already. Each time it did, if it is around midnight, the streak re-starts. It's a bit frustrating or annoying.

A MEDITATION APP that allows your phone to go to sleep AND doesn't have a mode that keeps playing with the screen off is crazy. Samsung Ultra 23 Please fix it immediately there's no way I want to go in and change my phone's settings just for a 20 min meditation. and go back in and change it back. If you think your customers have that kind of time, you don't know us at all.

App is very glitchy. Lots of error messages and endless load screens. Loses / forgets programs you saved. Using the solution of uninstall and reinstall would cause any downloads to disappear. AI assistant needs lots of work. Website version better. No easy customer support. They should hire back laid off employees to get this to work like it used to. Should I cancel my membership? I wonder if customer service will respond to this, since it was useless otherwise. Sad long time customer.

It's a really great app. The price feels steep, but when considering all of the benefits, it's actually a really great deal. The only major problem that I have is the search function. Using the yoga Nidra meditation as an example, sometimes I search for it, and nothing shows up. Other times, what shows up is a yoga Nidra by someone other than the person I was looking for. I also wish you could sort meditations in more ways than just by category. An example of that being by length.

I am learning and growing everyday! This has so many opportunities to learn various ways how to succeed, grow and heal yourself. It's amazing what powers and healing abilities you already have if you learn to harness them. I've only been going for about a month but I can see myself turning this into a life long practice. I was crippled with Anxiety and depression. To the point of no hope. This is allowing me to get better and better everyday in everyway. I look forward to learning everyday

This app looks like it has some good content. There were a couple trailers that I found interesting and would have taken the courses, but jeeze loueeze it's expensive!! $99/month or $399/yr. So far out of my price range, and same with so many others, I imagine. I feel like if you're looking for this kind of app, to improve your life, your disposable income isn't anywhere near thmat fee. How about a lite version with abbreviated courses and lower cost? That would be cool.

This app looks really helpful with tons of content to choose from. Unfortunately, I'll never know because i went all the way thru the sign-up process, gave all my personal info. And all for nothing. I looked thru some of the various courses and finally landed on one i wanted to try. It wouldn't open. instead, a subscribe button appeared. This might be something I would happily pay for but $50 a month or $400 year for me, is a bit steep for something I cant even try first.

Updated review after almost a year. I stuck with it and they eventually fixed or improved lots of the app functionality. However, they cancelled my year-long subscription a month early! It even says that my account expires in Sept, but it's August and it was shut down for a week until I just wrote their unsupport. The AI chat bot does NOT want to give you a real person, but I finally did, and after he fixed the access, they didn't adjust the date to make up for the lost time they stole from me.

I love how I can choose my pace. I have done some self-learning so I feel I am not at a "day-one" state. I highly appreciate the audio feature where I can leave my phone screen off and just listen without the bright light. The only thing I would like to see later is a normalized music track with some meditations. I can't hear well right now, the music sometimes drowns out the speech.

I like the App, however there are many things that could improve the user experience. For ex. When you are done with a lesson, you only have the options to Go Back to the list of lessons or to go to the Discussion instead of having the option to go to the next lesson. Another one is that the workbook is completely disconnected to the App. I wish I could jump directly to the specific part of the workbook after you complete the lesson (I would never print the PDF)

They do not offer refunds for their subscription renewal (con). They will continue to charge your account several times until they can steal your $499.00. Even if you have already canceled the subscription, be sure to check that it hasn't magically renewed! I canceled this feature immediately after purchase to avoid this very issue, and it still happened anyway. Self-improvement also means not taking people's money when they don't want your services any longer. Extremely disappointed!

It used to work very well on my phone, now I can't consistently listen to a program without it stopping. At that point I sometimes have to restart the entire app to try to get back to my content. Since it doesn't accurately track the time elapsed since play, I can't always get back to where I was listening. Often, I just have to listen to the entire program over because it won't acknowledge that I've moved the cursor ahead. I've downloaded the content to listen offline but it doesn't help. v5.19

I just listened to the Paul McKenna podcast on Spotify. I was very excited by it because I'm going through a very difficult time and thought it could help me out. I followed instructions to download a copy of it. However, after downloading the Mindvalley app nothing happened. There was no free download copy. First impressions are lasting impressions. Disappointed. :(

Terrible cs. The only way to contact them is through a bot chat.There are always bugs and errors. 1) You can adjust the sound/music on only SOME of the meditations. So if the sound is louder than the person's voice its really hard to use that meditation. 2) EVERY SINGLE time I try to start a new program, it doesn't work. It takes me to the screen where I can pick whether I want to join a group or go at my own pace but no next button after that. 3) Meditations randomly pause

I'll probably have to cancel. I've been using this app while walking and just listening with my phone in ppcket. I just learned each video uses 1 GB of data. Total waste of data and battery power. And if i turn the screen off, the video a stops playing. I burned my 10 GB of data in a week with this stupid app. The advice is great, but the app is majorly flawed in design.

So geeked I got into this. All the tools and pathways to tap into parts of myself and life I was looking for rolled into a beautiful platform. The value of just one of the quests exceeds the cost of this subscription. After years and thousands of dollars and hours spent on my own personal and business development, I can boldly say you will receive immense benefit if you use this. Plus, they keep adding more! I'm so thankful to have this available and excited to see what comes next!!

The content is great, the website is too, but the app is seriously lacking. I have not gotten the search feature to work. Ever. As in I even searched for something I KNOW is on the platform but the app said "no results found" for the title or content creator. The suggestions you get in app are very limited as well, and some links do not work. Use the app only for doing an already selected quest. Use the website for everything else.

App has room for improvment. The content is unspeakably wonderful but I feel like the chapters and videos for each course could be organized in a way that is easier to navigate visually. Also, I really wish there was a favorite button or Add to List button like Amazon so I could collect classes that I want to take later. This would make them easier to find at a later date. Constructive criticism only. Wonderful classes. Thank you very much!

Overall beautiful quailty content. Quests sometimes are the free content of the teacher put into a quest. App:Audio frequently does not play all the way through. Does not allow you to update you have to uninstall and reinstall. Search is just for quests. Puts services that are not included in your package when you click on them for information, it attempts to upgrade you without your consent. And the discussion link rarely works. It does not load and it kicks you off the app. Video issues too

This platform is the best investment I have ever made. Thank you for the variety, depth, and consistency of value in all that you do. On top of that, the app works flawlessly. My only issue is trying to choose between the courses, workshops, meditations, presentations, live events, etc. I highly recommend anything and everything this platform and the people involved have to offer. Priceless.
