Chat with us feature is worse than useless. The chat box doesn't auto refresh so you're forced to constantly try to refresh, and if you miss a message because it's not loading, they boot you back to the end of the line and you have to start over. When I finally got in contact with a person they told me to please wait a moment while they investigated, then booted me for not responding (they told me not to). It's been an hour. Horrible.

Great service and coverage. Paying several months up front to save more is logistically sound. But they get you in fees, so always be prepared to pay $15 OVER the shown amount. You pay those extra fees so mint can save on business expenses. If you ask me, it's a slimy business practice. Regular customers shouldnt have to pay more, especially bc this is a cost effective option for low income people. The app works fine.

I love the deals, the apps good function, and even the prices. Which is super rare today. Only thing is, its practically impossible to get in contact with an agent for customer service now. I don't like that at all. It was super easy to get on the phone with someone for help back in 2022 & 2023. Now? Forget about it. This companies customer service was phenomenal last time I used it. Also the fact that I can tuck money away for later use of data is genius. 4.5 stars for that!

The dumb AI chatbot in support literally never even loaded, then froze the app, then spammed me with text messages after I restarted my phone. Called the number to talk to a person, as it says in the support page, and it was an AI assistant. Refused to connect me to a human no matter how much I asked, just kept assuring me it wasn't like other bots. I love the phone service, but this is ridiculous. Also, using the wallet is stupidly convoluted, fix it already. I'm about to jump ship.

so far mint has been fantastic. The economics are very considerate of a normal person's budgetary capabilities. The application is easy to use and through which one can navigate with aplomb. The international passes are great and don't seem insanely expensive. so far there is no downside unless the prices change. radically. thank you!

Without a doubt the worst data company I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. The singular redeeming quality that you could find with this company is a free twelve month unlimited plan. Let's say you want to port-out after that, they have a problem. Some absolute *genius* thought it was a good idea to make your account number, one of the few things I need to keep my current number, only able to be found through customer service. Terrible company, terrible leaving policy.

I have called customer service multiple times regarding being automatically enrolled for renewal and NOT wanting to renew. I have been told each time that I would get an email with offers related to getting more data or a better deal and have so far not gotten said email despite three calls and one call specifically to their retention specialist. I would strongly recommend AGAINST Mint if you're considering. We were much happier with TMobile despite the slightly higher cost.

For the $$, I have no complaints...I'm not too much of .phone person and the modest amount of data is usually sufficient for (good discipline too to not time sicknon phone needlessly) but when I do run out there's the option to add more which can come in handy. the negatives are minor; no "brick and mortar" store or rep, but again, it works well for me going on two years!🙂

Terrible Customer Service ➕️ service issues. had an issue for months and multiple calls. In the last call, they said, they have no records of any of the troubleshooting done so far. Even though they see the call records. So they're starting from zero again. and the vicious cycle repeats and I waste so much time on this. Refused to escalate and forced started fresh troubleshooting. All so the call would drop and I would be forced to deal with a different Indian agent!

This app is useless. You can choose different plans for yourself and those in your family, but what you are charged is not necessarily what you chose. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, login out and logging in, nothing fixes the bug. I was charged $80 more than the plan I chose. Things that appear to be too good to be true really are. Disappointed for sure.

The app seems too simple and doesn't give me the basic things I want like an invoice. I can find transaction history with an invoice number but never can I find an actual receipt. today when I went to my transaction history it said it was empty but there was many entries a mere hour ago. On the app I wanted to change plans but I could not find a button to do this. The app also locks me out even after a couple days and when I enter, it locks the app until I click allow on a text message

I've been paying for Mint for about a year. I realized today how incredibly unreliable it can be. Had a stressful day at work in the city, but I had 0 data. I had plenty of room left on my plan but it didn't work, but I couldn't send texts or make phone calls. I've been fine recommending it to others so far, but I can't believe it just stopped working completely randomly. Not a remote location by any means, normal weather.

The app could be better - it makes me log in every time I open the app and sends me texts (sometimes multiple at a time) telling me that an unknown device logged into my account. Getting to the Minternational pass page is kinda difficult if you don't know where to look and is not the most efficient - there should be a way to look at your passes from the same page where you can buy one. The rest of the app is fine.

This is supposed to be a no contract/no hidden fees plan. Instead, once you pay the initial time period, the price more than triples and if you wait to renew, they charge multiple fees before allowing to renew. Also, they make it impossible to take your number back to use somewhere else if you want to leave. Visible is cheaper and better.

This app went from good to bad. Changed my son's plan but the app never updated and says he still has the old plan, but payment amount is new plan price. Can't use the chat with support option because you never get a keyboard. Made an accidental ahead of time payment because of hitting the pay now button, and there was no "confirm payment" prompt. Then there is no way to cancel payment afterwards. Mint Mobile is great but the app is not.

edit after another year with mint: the app has gotten better, the Fox chat just doesn't work, and there's very minimal information on the app. I just have Google what I need to know. The app really only needs to be opened once a year when you pay, but i'm trying to swap plans, and there's no information listed.

Don't run out of data because your phone essentially becomes worthless without wifi. Did a speed test and got .10 Mbps. That is worthless, can't even send or receive a picture in text messaging. Other carries throttle you when you reach a certain amount of data used, but it's not nearly as slow. Could at least give people a couple Mbps so their phone didn't become unusable. Bout a years worth of service and regretting it, most likely won't be renewing.

Absolute garbage. My plan expired yesterday and it blocked my account on the app AND the website. On top of that, the "$15 a month" only applies if you pay for a year in advance. Plus, I bought a 3 month plan on the 3rd of July and it canceled my service on the 31st of October...That's NOT 3 months!

Mint mobile is definitely the cheapest that I know of especially if you pay for an entire year. However, I have to restart my phone several days every week to keep it connected to the phone data or even to use the internet through the phone data (if i turn off mobile data, the issue disappears). It struggles with making calls and keeping calls connected. I have had a lot of audio issues specifically to phone calls on this network as well. Overall, it's a good money saver but 3/5

Changing passwords every time I try to log in. I use Bitwarden to manage my passwords. so I know it's correct. but for the past month, anytime I try to log in with my information, it tells me it's invalid. I go through the change password and boom I'm in. but I'm getting tired of doing it every single time. It's only done this since the last update. Other than this issue, Mint has been fantastic to deal with.
