It's fairly easy to setup and works with the lottery machines for age verification. It's abit slow on both WiFi and 5G. But the big issue for me is the app is a 1 to One - you can have it running on one device only. If the app/technology is so secure then it's facial recognition should be able to identify me whether I'm using a IOS(Apple) or Android. There's many who have multiple mobile devices for work, backup, hotspot, child pacifier or some other reasons.
While not perfect, this app does work. I've seen a lot of complaints that the confirmation text they send you doesn't work, and for me it was also true. Clicking the link opened up my browser on my phone, for me that's Firefox, and it failed to load. However, I tried opening Firefoxs options menu and selected "Open in app" and it loaded the link inside the Mobile ID app automatically, and verified my identity. The app also continuously crashes if it doesn't have full permissions to your camera.
I downloaded the app, got everything set up, then it told me my ID was locked. I wasn't able to use it at all. What is the purpose for locking my ID? I tried repeatedly to unlock it with the face point checker or whatever it is but then it would say tried to many times, try again in 24 or 48 hours. That's dumb. The app is pointless. Uninstalled. Hope y'all fix it but until then I'll have to stick to the old fashioned way.
Had trouble with the text link as others have mentioned and followed the FAQ troubleshooting guides which didn't solve the issue that the link kept opening in browser. Almost gave up until I read a review with a tip that worked: Go to go to your settings -> apps -> your browser app (Chrome for me) -> disable Then go back to the MS ID text link and click it, should open in the app and verify successfully. Then don't forget to re-enable your browser of course.
Face recognition is the most wacked method I've ever seen and using it is like trying to nail jello to a tree. Pin might be OK, but who uses a 6 digit pin? And the app will lock for 15 min if you mess it up... great, just what you want with a state trooper staring through your window. Did yall think about usability AT ALL?!? Who will have my phone and be able to unlock it who wouldn't have a much easier time stealing my license, and what secrets of the universe are on it that need such security

Nobody accepts this as a valid form of identification. Not to mention once your ID expires there is no way to update it in the app. You have to unenroll and start from scratch. Also, if you try to leave feedback it just opens blank message page that literally does nothing. If I have to carry around my physical ID all the time because I'm worried people won't accept this, what's the point of this app?
I've been trying for about two years ever few months or so I download the app and try to activate my mobile ID. It has yet to work. The first few times I tried it would never get passed the link it would send the link to my text but the link wouldn't work. So I copied the link and pasted in the browser and it said the link didn't exist. I gave up for a while. I just tried again about ten times tonight. The link works, it goes through the process of scanning the ID and face then an error message
Does not work with Android 12 or 13 software updates and the troubleshooting recommendations do not work. I had this installed before the software update and it worked fine but then it required me to go through the verification process again after the update and the link doesn't work. The live chat help also gave me troubleshooting guidance that did not work. Uninstalling.
Useless app! Very hard to get the link to load and it wants pictures of the physical ID. I lost my physical ID and was told I can use this app for ID verification until I received my duplicate driver's license but, not true it needs pictures of your current ID to use it. Wasted my time and effort trying to use this app. I deleted the app. It's useless and a waste of storage space in my opinion. Needs lots of improvement! If I could post this with zero ratings I would've!
This is a great app to have, it is a little slow loading sometimes but otherwise I greatly push anyone to have it. With it I don't have to worry about if I left my wallet and its acceptable for voting and it's always with you as long as you have your phone.
App keeps giving me an error code at the end of enrollment, causing me to start all over. I'm not sure what part of the process I am doing wrong, but I'm guessing it's the "string" your photo process. This app could be a lot better. Uninstalled!
Using the camera to verify face took some time. that number 3 dot was up high and I couldn't do it. Restarted the process and number 3 was lower and it went alot easier.
loved it! Before I found out that literally noone accepts it. Couldnt even use it anywhere in Mississipi except one business. used it when I was pulled iver for a traffic srop and the deputy could not enlarge it enough to read it. It would be usefull if the state actually encouraged the use of it with the businesses that require ID. I could not even use it to buy smokes.
I've had the mobile app for almost a year now and have yet to have problems with it, other than with people who are uniformed on accepting it as a form of legal verification. Once you press the certify button and you get the gold rotating star, you're good to go!
It was a bit of a pain in the beginning it seemed like it had trouble loading completely I had to start over a couple times but there are only a few steps to get thru once it started going good I was done in no time at all I really like the simplicity of it and I think most anybody can use it with ease. Thank you this is great I always have my phone even if I don't have my wallet good job Mississippi
I've read the other reviews and many of the complaints I honestly believe are true. I live in Mississippi and normally nothing works here, but I have no complaints it does what it says it will do. If you can't get it to work read some of the reviews and try their suggestions. It looks like a simple change of a few of the permissions and such. Mississippi Mobile ID work just fine for me. But if all else fails just carry your ID it's not that hard.
Only had one issue trying to use web address sent via text. Would not open on Android. Had to go to app and add a link for the web page to open by default. Once I got past that, everything else worked fine.
What a piece of junk. Tried for 3 days toget the app to open after download. Finally opened today, great. Went through the dog and ponie show. Entered phone number. They sent link for set up 3 times, none would open. Deleted this sorry app.
I have a OnePlus 9 Pro running Android 11 an the app doesn't work at all on my phone. I click the icon an the icon wiggles but the app never opens nothing happens. I tried granting the permissions through the app settings but still nothing it doesn't even open.
