Mixlr - Listen to live audio

This app worked great, was easy to use, and always kept me logged in until the update. Since then, I've barely used this app because the update is not as good as before. Im always logged out, you have to type in the exact name to the letter to find it on search, and sometimes I know that something is live but it doesnt show up in the list, Ill have to go click on it first to see it live.

Been a user since 2014 broadcaster since 2018. I've made wonderful friends and get to listen to great content. Customer service is great, app is easy to use and you really can't beat the price. I think the only thing I would ask for is, a way to see who's in the chat on my Android. That would be super cool! Here's to five more years & beyond!!🥂 #MixlrFam

Has been great till a recent issue of the app not being able to open. It is an incredible resource for making live music widely available and I absolutely love it as do all the others who love our bands. I have an Android myself and it could play a part in the issues I am experiencing at the moment. Please fix soon as my favorite band is on tour now. Thank you for your great work!

Why is it so difficult to log in or sign up? I've been stuck on the Sign Up page because it keeps recommending password, the not using it for the sign up. I finally got through that and I was told that a 6-digit code was sent to my email. Waited forever, still haven't seen the code. Maybe I'll just try another app, or the web version.

The interface looks a bit dated and "tacky," which takes away from the professional feel of the service. The biggest issue for me is navigation. The back button often closes the entire app instead of just taking me to the previous screen, which is incredibly frustrating. Also, the search tool is way too limited it only seems to work if you have an exact match. It really needs to show "near matches" and broader results so we can actually discover new events easily. good work nonetheless 👏🏿

My experience with the app has been terrible since i last updated 4months ago. When I click on mixlr link instead of taking me to the app it takes me to a web page and then ask me for email, username, password. After which it won't still work. I use to enjoy the app with my favourite channels but not anymore. can't something be done for someone to be able to use the app without signing in creating account?

Why can't I share to WhatsApp anymore. It only allows Bluetooth sharing and something else. No more to social media.... Plus it just lags off on ending. Absolutely loved it for a bit. I'm back in October 2025 and it's sad to say the issue is back! When I have a live audio program to connect to, the app just keeps loading until I eventually have to switch to YouTube or other apps. And funny, the same internet network will work excellently on another app. Can you look into this, please!

This used to be a great app until some months ago after an update. 1. You get logged out automatically many times and even if you log in, it doesn't work. You remain logged out. 2. You can't find the accounts you're following & you need to search. 3. The app takes forever to connect everytime and if it does eventually, it disconnects multiple times and takes forever to reconnect. You can't listen for 15 minutes without interruptions. Please fix these bugs and let us enjoy MIXLR again.

Very unreliable app. When it works, it's fine, but that's not saying much. Often, streams will cut off after 40 something minutes, without any prompting. Many instances when there is no recoding of what was broadcast (especially when it cuts off). It's really baffling, because this is a paid service. One would expect better performance from an audio-only broadcasting app, in this day and age. Seriously considering not renewing the subscription when it ends and I am looking for alternatives.

Before now, Mixlr used to work great. But for some weeks now the sound just stops for no reason whenever I'm listening to a broadcast. This is VERY annoying. I always have to leave the page and return for the sound to be restored. I first thought it was because I had poor connection, but it happens even with strong connection. Then I thought oh maybe I need to update the app, but I came here and didn't see the update button, then saw that I'm not the only one experiencing this. Fix this, please.

Even when my network is very good and works well for other apps on my phone, it keeps loading and loading for hours on mixlr. what exactly is the problem? I'm unable to search and listen to any of my favorite programs. it's frustrating😤. when I press the back button just once, it takes me entirely out of the app. lots and lots is now wrong. kindly do something pls.

Hi, the app is really good, but there is one thing you have to integrate in this app, and that is the showreel. Because every time I want to listen an audio I have to open the web browser. It would be great if you could integrate the showreel directly in the app to not open the browser every time I want to listen an audio or broadcast. The rest is fine, great work. 👍🏻

If I had known I wouldn't have upgraded. Seriously, the new experiences I am having with mixlr is so annoying. I scheduled an event according to WAT, only for me to start recording and I was told I have used up my time for the day. Why should your time keep counting when you are not broadcasting yet?? The thirty minutes limit, so annoying. The notification that pops up during broadcasting is so annoying as well. Overall, my new experience with you guys is annoying.

Mixlr kindly bring back the simplistic interface of red and white & just 1 or 2 basic buttons. That's all we users need. The winning point of mixlr was its basic simplicity, like using a pen. No nobody needs a pen that is also a mirror, that is also a fan. Give me a basic product with ink that I can write with. Mixlr has become so clunky & no more nimble & swift. Too many buttons & wait time is so long, it just feels bloated & overweight as an app. Just give us the basic features that worked.

I`ve been using the web version for quite a while and it's been like 10 minutes since I actually installed the App as well. Great interface. Loving the look of it so far. However, right away I`ve noticed some issues that I thought are worth this review: - My name is displayed twice in the Chat as Name, Name - Every message I sent appears twice on my end even though on other terminals it appears just once - Removing the headphones does not automatically mute the streaming. Ended up playing some banging drum & bass in my pocket at the office for a while until someone told me to take off my PC headphones, heh. Kind regards!

since morning it's not openings and again And does not record the newest live stream it is only showing the January live stream but it does not show the one that happened on February and the one in March

This comment is about the app, not the Mixlr community or content. I like to listen to Mark Metz. On my android phone, with household wifi, I can stream his channels using Chrome, and the music plays beautifully. If I then open same the channel in the Mixlr app, the music hangs, gets interrupted. Exiting the app, and switching back to Chrome (on same device), all is fine, music streams perfectly again. In the before times we would have described this as a buffering issue.

it stop after 5-10 minutes of playing and is very disappointing. Using the app on Android 10 On Galaxy Note 10. It was not like this before the resent update which open up the old recordings in a browser. Also after the update I can only see few items to play where as under the old method I had access to the full list IOs app work well but why cannot it be done same in Android for Android users. I am sure most of us are willing to pay for the app if it work.

Upgrades are meant to make using the app easier but not with the recent upgrade of this app😢😮‍💨😤 It has become very difficult to use. Even logging in is a very big issue. It takes minutes upon minutes (at least over 30mins to login and I'm not even exergurating) pls help us find a better solution to this problem. Mixlr was very easy and sweet to use but not anymore

This is horrible. I'm trying to listen to a live broadcast. The sound just stops randomly. I have to reopen the app for the sound to start playing again. When I try to look at other apps the music just stops. Actually, while I was typing this review the music on a broadcast stopped twice before I could even finish my review. This is horrible.
