Moco: Chat & Meet New People

if you're on an android system DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. "Ad's keep the app free" but they make this app completely UNUSABLE. There's an Ad after every single time you do one little thing. I open ONE profile, there's an Ad immediately, I send ONE message, there's an AD immediately, I try going to the different page, immediately there's an Ad. Can't be on the app for more than 15 seconds without getting Ads. 😭 If I could give this app 0 stars I would.

You guys really shouldnt be charging for anything, considering how bad the app is. There are at least 5 to 6 ads on one screen, that also blocks everything. You cant tap the x because it's so tiny, you end up clicking on the ad. The app lags and freezes, so you have to back out completely for it to work again. I've been on and off here since I was a teen, it's still trash and nothing has changed.

It's one of the worst sites I've ever been on, constant advertisements, navigate off the page all the time in the middle of sending a message can't even see the message effectively because it's inside of a one-line box. Constantly navigate off the page in the middle of you typing a message. not even accurate when someone sending you messages sometimes you don't even know you got one. You have to know you have issues like this with your site but there's nothing being done.

It's so so. It has lots of ads and is very clunky. It's not crisp like other apps. You try to click on an option to quick then you will probably end up somewhere else or on an ad because it didnt load the page quick enough. Of course there are alot of fake accounts. So you have to know what to look for (1 photo, immediately giving you a number from like PA or up north right odd the bat saying "text me") It is just so so.

This app sucks! If you scroll, there is an ad, if you click on a profile, there is an ad, I'm surprised there is not an ad just to write a review! And they are not cute ads, that make them extra lout and intrusive. It made me go from Interested in purchasing the subscription to absolutely hating the app in general, why are there so many damn ads!!?? Stop it! It's ridiculous the way the adds pop up for every task. Seriously two ads/hour is fine and all but one every 16 seconds is intrusive

The app was slow, clunky, not user friendly, and kinda sketchy. Full of bot accounts and didn't make it easy to connect with people at all. Not a great place at all if you're looking to meet new people. It doesn't give you the option to delete photos from the uploads section which makes no sense. When you post a photo it looks very grainy. 2005 myspace offered a better and more efficient experience than this waste of time.

Ads are so aggressive that each click to another area of the app, there is an ad. Chat rooms are filled with drug selling, prostitution and other unlawful activities. It's easy for your account to get restricted ( you ignore someone/ they report you, then boom you're restricted). With no idea what you said or posted, the least moco could do is show the post or comment that caused the restrictions. It's not worth the download, so please don't waste your time.

This has to be the worst dating app I have ever seen, can't even pay for anything without getting bombarded with endless ads that you have to close the app just to stop the ads, then you get back and within seconds another ad, you guys obviously don't want my money. Can't even give them any info on how I can pay even if I wanted to, all I was trying to do was to find out how much, either way, there ads are predator Ads, meaning they worm there way into your phone and you can't stop them.

I have NEVER been so inclined to write a review until now.. This website has been around for a long time and I STILL after 10 year run into problems with their website.. it is slow and all the links are messed up. I cant even delete my account.. the fill in the password option to delete account doesnt work.. the help link is at the bottom of the page which when you scroll down just loads more members profile causing you to never be able to click the link.. and when you do it just goes to home.

Ads, ads, bots, and ads. Upload a photo? View an ad. Go to change a setting? View an ad. Click to close an ad covering part of the UI navigation bar? Yep, another ad. All that while being pinged by friend requests from bots that want you to text them for who knows what. There might be people on here but all that burned me out before I coule find them.

Extremely glitchy and buggy, with a constant shifting screen. Full of ads, and ads that won't let you close the app and blocks other icons you would regularly use in the app. It crashes or freezes often.. A "swipe" type of match feature that shows you everyone from around the country, and rarely anyone that's local to you. At least the other users are real, for the most part, which is the reason I give it 2 stars and not one. There is more headaches versus enjoyment when logged into this app.

This app has the potential to be decent but is basically unusable because every 20 - 30 seconds you get hit with an ad that takes 5 - 10 seconds to go away. It's ridiculous. Not only will I never buy or use any of the products being advertised just due to the sheer annoyance of the ads, but I will not be using this app anymore. Shame. This app could have a lot of potential as a good way to chat with your friends for free, but they will never become a big name platform with the way they ad-bomb.

Popup ads makes me want to delete my account and never come back to mocospace. And damn app unstable freeze up and it keep booting u. What buy gold for what so we still experience poor quality of the service you provide?? Hell no! I said I'm not buying or paying for this app keep the popup ads appear while I chat. Besides, they freeze the app while chatting. Now. Just now, the poppup ads frozen moco for over 5 mins. New phone it's not my phone. Come on now. You people want us pay for us to chat. NO! Why pay for social media apps? You guys have other services and still need charges for block ads? Ads now won't let you chat. They're blocking you even get on moco.

Spammy. Lots of fake profiles. It keeps asking me to verify my account, and sends me SMS security codes, but when I enter them, it's unable to verify the account. Lots of times, it just hangs and shows me a black screen, with the message in the bottom right "loading". Super intrusive full screen ads that take over the screen and interrupt the app. I don't understand this app and don't see the point; it exists only to get you to spend money through in-app purchases. Uninstalled.

Been off and on for years now and the app is still a complete joke. They want to take people's money for their poor excuse of a premium services yet their app hasn't been updated in over 10 years. As someone else stated in their review the ads are extremely intrusive and you get multiple ads at one time which then makes the app laggy and then it crashes. The bots are a complete joke. You can't go 5 minutes without getting a message from a scam account.

I highly do NOT recommend this app. Accounts are automuted (meaning muted instantly after being made) and the moderators give ironic excuses about why your account was automuted which contradict each other in their automated email response to your contacting them on the issue. I also highly recommend telling everyone you know to avoid using it. Long story short: the app is a waste of time and not worth it.

Ads, ads, ads. It was hard to upload photos or evaluate my profile because it kept going to an ad. Gif's don't load for me.. I can't type in the search bar for other gifs if any show up. I LOVE THE LIVE FEEDS. How fun. I love how u can meet and talk to people all over including outside of the USA. I also don't really understand friendshop or street wars but I'm interested in learning in the future. I'm also pleased that u can't really search profiles...it's a more random meet n chat.

In the age where social media dominance rises, "Moco" formerly known as (MocoSpace) doesn't know how to get with the times. Lackluster "ish" in the sense that the UI seems like something out of 2.3 gingerbread. Very laggy responses, crashes here and their if not ALL THE TIME. But in overall the app just doesn't seem like it belongs in the coming years of the 2020's and going forward. It rides on the wave of all the dating apps and with so many other options, this app has its days numbered..

I really do enjoy the mocospace website and the app however I give it a 1 star because of the ads popping out nowhere. I can understand ads but when it's ads every 5 to 10 seconds is what annoys me. The other thing that annoys me is the website you have ads that block the screen I cannot even chat with friends because of the ads blocking the website.

TOO MANY ADS. You can BARELY use the APP or the WEBSITE because of continuous ads. Some ads won't close, so you have to close app and hope that the ads don't come but they do. If you like closing an app and reopening continuously to use the app you'll love this app. Seems like every other profile, message or pictures you click on you'll get an ad or two.
