Moneybox - Save and Invest

Really not a fan of the new layout at all. The graph showing your earnings takes up too much space. I just want a basic list of accounts and features like adding money, moving money and withdrawing money to be easy to access. The new layout is messy and confusing, it takes too many steps to just see my LISA transactions Also used to be able to add my remaining allowance to my LISA in one click - that option doesn't appear anymore? When I try to add an Amount

When you open your savings app, you don't want to be assaulted with adverts & questions. let alone have fake ad accounts in-between your normal accounts which try and push you to open more types of accounts (such as stocks & shares). I just want to see my accounts neatly next to each other. leave me alone. if that wasn't the case this would be a great app.

Not user friendly at all. Way too much useless stuff on there. Too much crammed into a small space - 'find out more', prizes, etc. Just rubbish. You need to go digging to try to find your accounts. It needs a major revamp to make it easier to get rid your own account faster and easier.

Such a complicated and convoluted place to hold your money. Used to be dead simple, slowly got more complex, and now it's barely navigatable. Trying to withdraw money (you have to "sell" first, which is a nightmare; no notification if you've done it properly or not) is unbelievably Jenga. Might have to ditch it now — if I can get my money out!

Absolutely nightmare. Trying to withdraw but as I've changed bank provider it won't allow me to update new bank account details. I cannot find my account details anywhere in the App to transfer money in from new bank account. They need statement from new bank account but security on new bank account is too high and cannot share this information. I would definitely not recommend Moneybox, App is absolutely rubbish. Very very frustrating. I've never experienced this with a banking App. TERRIBLE

Sign-up process is already a bit weird. It's asked me to pick from a set list of "where did you hear about us" and none are correct for me. So I've already been forced to provide false information to a bank by the system. Already a big red flag for me that this isn't thought through. I'll update later with more info.

positive overall however the new update seems to have messed with some of the links within the app. for example selecting one of the ISA's in the accounts bubble on the home screen now pops up asking which app to use to follow the link using either the app or a browser. not a big issue but still annoying.

It used to be really good app, simple straightforward, saving and investment. Unfortunately they went similar way as many banks, so now it is over complicated, deceiving, hiding features and adjusting weekly deposit is nearly impossible to find. Shame. It is clearly design again users

The app is nice. Just a few things that can be worked on: once you start weekly deposits, it is not possible to stop them unless there's a 2 week period where they are not able to charge that. And you can't change dates. Imagine you need to change from Monday to Tuesday, you can't. Then, after a few months of having started on moneybox, they won't let you deposit unless it's £100. Apart from that it's okay and easy to use

Moneybox repeatedly blocks access and demands reconfirmation of unchanged details, including redundant information like income and employment type. This is intrusive, unnecessary, and poorly justified as a "regulatory requirement". Frustrating, time-wasting, and far from the simple experience they claim to offer

Awful app, badly designed and not intuitive at all. the problem is whoever has designed it has hidden the main features behind other less useful options so you have to think and search for them. Also when I reset my password the app told me I wouldn't need to remember it because Google would. Then when I tried to log in using the new password from Google the app said it was wrong! The app is garbage!

Very limited investing choices for S&S ISA. They just removed their only gold ETP during a gold rally which is not optimal. Most sectors can only be accessed through Investment Funds which reduce returns due to their fees. Informed investors should look elsehwere. I will continue to use MoneyBox due to their AMEX round-up feature that goes into a S&S ISA, but am not strongly attached. I would not leave my main investments on this platform due to limited investment choices.

Authentication is quite annoying. Dashboard and notifications are ridiculously impertinent and irrelevant to my goals. But at least I can check it's all there.

Never had a chance to use this app. As soon I registered and logged in, I get nothing but a blank screen. Tried deleting and re-registering my account - same thing.

Worst app ever. Constantly hangs, options don’t work, and pointless surveys pop up nonstop. The skip button is broken, and after that the app is completely unusable. Absolute garbage. Do not download.

Just be aware new customers get better rates of interest than existing customers. Once bonus rate expires on a cash ISA you have to accept the underlying rate and cannot be upgraded to the higher rate new customers receive

Cluttered app that can't be easily customised, despite it saying otherwise. Cannot see simple information like ISA interest rate.

The worst banking app I have ever used. Totally illogical layout. Impossible to find what you actually need to see like your transaction and full of useless features that you really don't need. The app is so annoying it puts me off banking with them in the future.

Good for LISA not great for stocks and shares ISA. Not that many stocks to choose from and they charge a monthly 0.45% platform fee. That's a big chunk of your portfolio gone to fees. I moved to trading 212 after that

Brilliant for what the account does but the app is just worse and worse with every update. Started great but now everything is overcomplicated and confusing. I now have to click through a million buttons to see info I used to be able to see immediately.
