MoneyLion: Bank & Earn Rewards

0 STARS..Up until last month, this app was an amazing financial lifesaver; however, a few mnths ago, they attempted to charge me fees, claiming it wasn't paid when I received my instacash. Well after multiple attempts, I was finally refunded my money, but noticed the same charge to my bank acct yesterday w/out my authorization. In addition, they've also reduced my borrowing limit because I choose not to tip every time - which is quite expensive. If I could afford to, I wouldn't be borrowing.

Great app! Easy to manage. It takes some time to load but it might just be my device. The starting borrowing is low but can add up quickly. It is much better than some of the other apps that will takes 50+ dollars for missing a day of payment or unexpectedly charges you. I've been using this app for some time and it gives little to no problems, very glad to have this app when I was in such a hard time. :]

I don't know what happened...the app used to work smoothly, but now it's pretty much unusable. It freezes all the time and I can't access the sections I need to get to because it's always stuck. You had a good thing going, but in the last month or two, the app became useless. Unfortunately, I handle some financial matters thru Moneylion, so I'm stuck having to wait a long time or try over and over until the app responds. Please fix this app!

Rating the app specificly, not the services. The app is trash. Laggy, slow, full of pop ups, resets your choices after entering them. But they insist you use it instead of just using a website or the like. Currently it's not even working, it just keeps showing a loading symbol for over half an hour. It's always been bad, but lately it just keeps getting worse

Going through a hard patch, I've used a few cash advance apps. This is the worst one. The most complicated by far, with more fees (watch for the huge tip that's automatically added--you have to unselect it, but I've never seen anything like it and so missed it). And the customer support is a joke--I had to ask my question several times and they just kept going in circles. Brigit, Klover, Possible, and Tilt were all miles easier, and cheaper.

It's helped me out in a pinch when I was desperate but can't recommend. They only allow withdrawals of 100 at a time and charge an 8.99 for EACH withdrawal. Then they press you on leaving a tip in addition to the fee that they claim is optional. Several times the transfer wouldn't go through until I left a tip. The fees and tips are highly predatory. I paid off my balance and didn't request more money and they sent me an email claiming repayment failed and I had an unpaid balance. SMH.

Awesome app with incorporated checking, savings, and investment accounts. As well as cash back rewards and other ways like playing games to hit milestones to increase cash back to add extra money to your wallet! Monopoly Go is highly recommend as one of the easier games to hit basically all the timed level milestones by simply playing several times a day and seriously, that's maybe 30 minutes if that a day. I despise how most apps that "pay" or reward you for gaming but this one is does it right

I have had a fine experience with the functionality of the app and whatnot, but the "tipping" is out of control. For one thing, even the idea of "tipping" a cash advance app is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard, and then on top of that, it tries to trick you into "tipping" them 3(!!!!!) times before it allows you to finalize the cash advance. It has the tips in large bold print and the option to choose not to tip in fine print below, then tries two more times when you've already said no

Instacash and Shake and Banks are cool. The app is literally the least responsive app I've used. It takes a solid 10 minutes of clicking and waiting just to add money from my debit card. I don't know what you guys are doing in the background but you're doing too much, your app is slow as can be to the point where it's getting frustrating to use anymore.

MoneyLion and its app have been amazing ! Being able to get online loans for a very low rate is utterly spectacular! Their Roar Money bank account only $1/month, the card usable at any MoneyPass ATM. There are many good things about this App and it's company, many aspects, such as investing, Finance Education, and more I have not yet fully explored. If I could afford it right now I would have the premium account.

It's a great cash advance app, but it was better before the fees were raised (Maryland doesn't allow tipping anymore) and the amount I can withdraw at once was lowered. For example: Say I have 100 available to withdraw, I can only take 80 of that, then it'll drop to 15, then 5 and I have to pay a fee EACH TIME if I don't want to wait 3-5 business days for the money. It's highway robbery, but I get that they need to make money somehow.

The BEST when it comes to advance money apps. Genuinely love how they don't charge a subscription before you can even request an advance. Better yet, they don't charge a subscription period! I first started using MoneyLion for the credit builder and oh my goodness. They brought my credit up 65 points!!!! Yes you read that right, 65 points. I can now request over $508 dollars because of my on time payments. MoneyLion will treat you good if you are good to them in return. Meaning, always pay back!

cool for one off things, but has some bugs, for one if you have a high limit and max it out, it will randomly reset lower. if you get a boost then it doesn't add up to anything either. their billing is weird, and the credit builder is an insanely high interest rate doing the math. there's also no way to back out at all once you agree to anything.

I have tried just about ALL of the payday advance apps, and I gotta say, without a doubt, that Moneylion is THE BEST payday advance app. There isn't a subscription required for basic things like cash advances. Plus, if you consistently pay on time, then you can build up your cash advance limit fast. Overall, I've had a great experience with Moneylion, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I like how you can get a cash advance for a quite small fee if you're willing to wait a day or two, and the amount increases over time as you use the app. Plus you have a per transaction limit instead of a daily limit. The fees if you want an instant advance are kind of ridiculous though, so make sure you plan in advance if you think you'll need money.

Useless. Upon setting up my account, apparently there was a security issue with my bank. After verifying that this was not true, MoneyLion said there was nothing they could do even though the issue was on their end. I Immediately deleted my account within 30 minutes of it's creation. What's the point of the service if you can't even verify your own customers?

Customer service on this app is actually so useless it blows my mind. I've been trying to get them to help me with my issue since August. They either straight up ignore me or point me to another service rep that might know more than the one I was talking with. It's a never ending annoyance loop. The games and reward system is a scam. Even after completing the tasks in the correct time frame, I still didn't receive the rewards earned. I wasted so much of my time and got nothing out of it.

Nope. You basically can't cancel the membership fees that withdraw weekly. Every day the app says the payment is processing and I have to try back later to cancel after the payment processes. Every day even three days after it posts the payment - still can't cancel on the app. I called the customer service line and was told I had to call back to cancel in " a couple days" because my payment was pending. I asked for a manager = perpetual hold and no manager. My bank did a stop payment block them.

This app is actually a really great tool for me as I'm trying to organize my finances a bit better. I can play games for some extra change, get a bonus $50 on top of my direct deposit from my job when I sign up, and get my own physical debit card like some of the other online banking apps. It's easy to use and is aesthetically pleasing as well. You can also look at your account balances all in one place, plus get advances on paychecks when needed. Cool app if you use it correctly.

I like this app. it has helped me several times when I'm in a pinch, BUT i HATE when it keeps asking for a tip!!! none of my other cash advance apps do that. when people have these apps, it's usually because we don't have any extra money... specifically to tip. it charges you extra to get it instantly. and it only lets me take out $100 at a time! it charges way too many fees on top of requesting tips!!!
