This has the most parameters for diagnostics than any app i have tried. Its dashboard is great too. The user interface could be simpler to chose between the ecm and tcm but it will not take much getting used to. I had a major issue transferring the license it to my android car stereo because I had 2 accounts on my phone when I purchased it. It paid from one account and stored the purchase on the other. I also love the fact the developer cares because they give feedback from most reviews.
Plug-ins can't be purchased, they ask for that to install Huawei store, and from there additional software... Real shame because it seemed that it is most deep access I have seen on these app's. Explanation that it is because Google somehow don't allow in-app purchase doesn't slide. When another for another apps it is not problem. Seems fishy at best, or security risk...
One of the best apps on obd. Was disappointed on torque given the limited protocols it supports via elm327..... However, motordata live readout speed is toooooooo slow. Maybe you can provide a readout speed adjustment for phones & devices that can accept the speed. The graphs are also tooo tiny with too little readout points (i think because of the readout speed), and sweeps to the beginning after 1 frame... Otherwise great app. I don't even need the dials guu as seen in other apps. Just fix the two items and i will give you a 5 star Edit:Okay there is your five star. Not the answer i was looking for, but it works. The graph should read what i choose and ignore the rest so that i don't have to change the readout parameters every time. I hope the graph interface could be better/much bigger or something in the future. And i still feel like the readout speeds can be improved without limiting the items (given that other apps can do the same at much faster speeds). Thanks.
All its missing is bi-directional controls, which would be perfect plus one more star. This app gives me more module codes than my "go to" scantool. Which suprised me. Granted the graphing meter lags a very slight amount, maybe a direct connection to the DLC would resolve this, but everything else makes up for it. The only issue really with the graphing, is watching an oxygen sensor. Thats a sensor that moves fast, and a slow response could lead a technician to believing theres a sensor issue.
Great app. One of the few apps that actually got me to pay for extra stuff. Even things that come standard in other apps like the dashboard. But when it's good you pay for it. I only wish the guages had a little more refinement. They look basic. I mean thats what you want. To the point. But somtimes i like a little flash.
First use of this raised a connection problem that I easily found instructions within the app to send the bug log to the developer, on a Sunday afternoon the reply was within a couple of hours. The email contained clear reasons for my issue and precise instructions as to how this could be resolved. Whether this works or not I'm incredibly impressed with the level of customer service for a free app, it's highly commendable and above any other service I've had with other apps including corporate.
Has potential.... But took ages to set up a profile for a generic 2004 honda, and app could not connect to generic Bluetooth obd2 reader when other apps connect instantly with no issue. I connected to Bluetooth obd2 reader firs (like I always do) then run the app and choose the reader in settings menu. It just refused to connect. I then tried the next obd2 app in the list and that had no issues connecting at all, only still had to create profile first. Sorry but had to un install.
Good app, lacks user oriented design. Seeing your response, I still strongly believe that it takes way too long and way too many button presses to get to the data I'm actually using the app for. I opened the app to check the voltage across the CU. It took 4+ button presses and 30 seconds to get that data. Using torque, it's 5 seconds and a swipe at most. I don't care to see the individual steps to connect to ECU. I just want it connected ASAP. Why do I need to click READ on the table screen?
First impression is wow. And I'm happy you've some included viewable parameters. But I had some issues (not sure when it started) with one of my Toyotas computer modules . not sure if this app is related, but I doubt it. Update here* Got it sorted. No idea how or why, well I have an idea, but the module in moonroof got replaced, reinitialized, and this time worked fine, didn't need to replace ECU, thank God. Found the app.db file on my phone to more easily be look thru logs. Fileexplorer helps!
Seems to work but to see vehicle specific information a plug-in is needed, which must be purchased outside of Google and another version of that app must also be downloaded from a web page outside of Google store, otherwise the plugins do not work.... not trustworthy and large security risk! They claim Google prohibits plug-in purchases - that's only true for russian companies! Looking up the company's webpage, then it seems to be russian. One more reason to not download anything from there!
First of all I would like to thank you for the great app you made It is the best I can get for using with mobile phone but I have some issues I want to share with you. I'm using your app with my Dacia Logan and I have some concerns about the accuracy of the reading that is on my car dashboard the mileage is about 55k km and from the app it is 66k !. So I want to make sure that all other data are correct not just numbers without any references. Also it would be nice if you provide normal values
Bought the app that my OBD2 sensor was supposed to work with the best but ended up downloading MotorData. It automatically found the device Nd started giving data straight away. The garage told me I needed new coil packs and my vehicle has 6 of them, they quoted me $1500 to do the job. After using this app it found nothing wrong with the coil.packs but was giving me readings of a fault in voltage. Had battery tested and that was the cause of everything. Glad I got it.
Peugeot Boxer 2018 No Start due to add blue tank fault. The app quickly gave me the same data as a very expensive professional mechanic computer on lap top. We had no start no crank situation due to a factory product recall in add blue tank pump. With THIS APP I was able to cross check the factory computer. From app I reset the add blue fault, primed the system and customer was on his way in 45 minutes. I also made a nice profit and so I will donate £10 to app development. other apps r useless.
Well-designed application very useful. The data logging and recording it is extensive plenty of options bar graphs charts highest lowest if you know how to use it or what it means it is a terrific diagnostic tool. Great for hunting down Gremlins that you would otherwise not be able to find.
Using the free app, it detected and could actively read 41 OBD :PID sensors. After I buy the add-on for my vehicle's (extended PID), it only show 19 of them. Some upgrade! This app also wants to charge $14.99 to describe the panel warning icons for your vehicles, something any owners manual typically contains. I don't recommend this unless you like being "nickeled and dimed" for useless add-ons.
This app actually works 💪 I have a mitsubishi L200 with an obdlink lx adapter, I've spent weeks trying out loads of different apps, none of them would show data relating to dpf etc. This one actually does, I'm yet to check out the parameters for other ecus like gearbox, airbags etc but if its anything like the engine ecu parameters then it's looking great. The only thing that could be improved is the visual aspects of live data (would like to be able to customize how it looks etc)
Good app, it showed correct error code and problem was solved where other apps didn't specified the correct error code. I would give a try few more tries then switch to paid mode to explore it. Love the simple and clear interface. Would give few advices about it for even better experience for customers.
Thank you so much for this useful and fully functional app. It saved me a lot of money understanding the performance of my car by not replacing expensive parts of the engine. Very handy to use providing accurate readings. I strongly recommend it. My car is a BMW E46 318ci 2002 model .
Using ELM 327 Bluetooth adapter, I purchased the plugins for Toyota. When I use the Protocols "Version 1 for TOYOTA" and "Version 2 for TOYOTA" to establish connection, I received the following prompt: "The data has not been read due to a connection problem. The ELM-adaptor failed to run the following commands: ATIB96 Your ELM-adapter does not support the set of commands required for advanced diagnostics. You can use this adaptor for engine diagnostics if your car supports OBD2/EOBD." Help PLZ
Wel i can say this app is one of my Favourites, it connects up via wifi to my OBD sender unit, then once u select your car an few other options u can start making up Screens with depending how big u want 1 out bout 6 diff gauge types u then go through the sh🔞t load of options there really is so many to choose from , like Boost , oil temp, engine load , fuel pressures, i hav it linked to my cars 7inch screen , so i have round 8 gauges showing on that page , your got 5 pages to play with, 👍
