I have been using the app for years and it works okay. It could work better in terms of user interface as I have a few issues. Firstly (and the most frustrating issue in my opinion) the app constantly signs-out of my account. The second issue is that my wishlists never save once I enter the app after signing in again. The search results need to be improved, I notice that the website has better and more results while this app gives me about 4 items unrelated to my search.
I've had an account for a few years now and I am an online shopaholic. However, the app doesn't allow me to add reviews to items and my wishlists never save. I end up adding things to my cart instead. The Fashion, Sport and Home sides ship separately that's kinda weird and inconvenient. A lot of items are always out of stock in most sizes and not everything in store is on the app which is frustrating, because I feel everything you have in store should be advertised online.
My products never save in my wishlist or cart. I add it, and then after a few days, when I go into the app again, the items are gone. Last night,the app closed by itself and when I went in again all the items were gone. I now take screenshots or screen recordings of the items and their sizes to remember what I wanted to order. This is very frustrating and it happens all the time. I love Mr Price, whether it is the fashion, home or sport department and love using the app, but this is frustrating.
You cannot order from MrPrice sport or Mr home at the same time. There's no option to pay if you exited without paying. You cannot even use the app to change shipping address. Yet, we still pay for shipping. Message for help on WhatsApp and get ignored
please help. It is so frustrating that I can not pay my account on the app all of a sudden, plus I can not download any statements. Are there some technical issues. Now, I am going to be a late payer, and that reflects badly on my credit score, and it is not my fault.
This app is fantastic for shopping trust me but I can't pay my credit account and that's why I'm rating 1 star. This issue has been on for 3 months now and no programming team or software developers have fixed the issue. Very embarrassing for such a big company
this has got to be the worst app ever for online shopping, I bought ankle strap sandals last month and they were supposed to arrive on Wednesday but nothing came to me, I used to the WhatsApp number and people there have no time for clients.. from me to you, you better shut down the app. you can't even ask for for refund.
When doing purchases online the App keeps refreshing after awhile and clears the shopping cart then you have to start all over again with adding items. Happened 3 times in 1 shopping spree I had to restart. Also would be nice if you filter sizes and it only shows those items IN STOCK.
The only convenience of buying online here is not standing in a queue but other than that it is not that great. The app doesn't save your wishlist items Waiting time of 2 weeks is so unnecessary when international orders come even quicker than this plus I had a missing item - now I have to find it in store - Chatting to a call centre agent was not helpful at all as there was no mention about how this would be resolved Buying in store is definitely less stressful than this
this app has been down for the last week or so, with me been wanting to pay my account. it is finally working but i am not able to log in at all, tried changing my password multiple times but it tells me my account is temporarily disabled??? makes absolutely no sense and is delaying my process of paying my account, which is usually an easy thing to do. fix your app immediately
So surprised by the good reviews especially as it's not a great app. Delivery time just for click and collect is sooooo slow. We pay for this! But 2 weeks later, nothing. It's as if they walk to the destinations man. I just don't get it.
App is not updated with what is going on in stores ,the chat bot system they have doesn't keep track of your messages so you cant do anything else on your phone when busy with it. The general functionality of the app is okay but they need to update the app.
I had no problem with the app until recently when I tried to check out and the error message keeps on popping up invisible items.are showing in my cart , I'm so frustrated I've reached out to customer service via Facebook , email and WhatsApp but the issue is still not resolved , they requested Info like my mr price account number and the password to my app which I felt uncomfortable sharing and left everything Like that , it's such an inconvenience for me because I hate going to the shops
I can eventually place an order, the UX is beautiful but your state management and caching mechanism sucks! items being redundantly added to cart or removed, or no items show in cart then when I open and close all items show again. Also your sign in UX sucks, when I sign in and verification fails I am permanently locked out even though the app says temporarily. I have to create a new account each time but then once I reach sign in I can't even sign in.
There's a huge amount on my bag for 2 item which is a dress worth 89 for kids and shoes but the amount says it's 2356 of which I can't even check out, because of that. This App is becoming useless, sometimes I can't even access my profile it's wants me to sign up or register again of which whenever I try doing exactly that it's doesn't work.
I struggled a lot with the App. it kept saying error when i checkout and when you put items in the basket, it automatically chucks them out within the same day. Atleast allow the items to remain in basket for 7 days before you automatically remove them from basket; unless its a size issue or out of stock.
Please don't order from Mr Price online or on the app! They sent us the wrong sizes of what was ordered, we have proof of the order. We contacted the call Centre and they said that cannot exchange the items, we have to go to the store ourselves to exchange. I explained to them that the stores close to me did not have stock and therefore I ordered online. It is really an inconvenience to us now and even though the fault is from their side.
This app used to work when it was first launched. This was the first app to introduce me to online shopping. Now its more down then up. always under maintenance. adding things to cart is a problem , some pages when clicked return errors. With all this Cloud infrastructure, why are you guys failing to create an operational app?

I've been with Mr Price since 2010.I've never missed even one payment. Even though I don't owe anything I keep on paying incase there's insurance or card protection. To my surprise I didn't pay end of last month ie January 2026 they took me to credit beaurea for the arrears of R17.00.And that caused my credit score to drop. I am so disappointed with Mr Price after so many years.
App is great to use, but its so difficult to pay your account on here. The "pay my account" is always giving some error problem and the funds dont allocate to my Mr price store account. Im just sick of this. Might as well close this account.
