I don't think I can live without this app. It's just super expensive. But in the long run its an investment into your health. App works very great for all the features is has. Its like melted butter, super easy. Love it can't see me ever going back to a gym or doing anything else with my health journey I have recommended it to many colleagues, family and friends.
If they could add more diverse equipment like sledgehammers with special workouts for them. Also if they could make for more options when you are creating your own workout. Like have a more diverse catalog of exercises to choose from. they do a good job but just a few tweaks like giving us more power and options to choose the exercises and adding more diverse equipment like a sledgehammer or even a tire. Have more variations of exercises. Give the user access to them.
The app wont work. At all. I had forgotten about the subscription because I never got to use the app in the first place and got charged $96 when it did an automatic renewal I thought I had canceled because the app is useless. Stuck on the very first loading screen. And it's been like that since I first downloaded it. Complete waste of my money. I could have just saved that total of $130ish dollars for something that either actually worked or something more important.
Works for one day then asks for money to access the ability to log workouts. I opened again to check tomorrow's workout and it's asking for an email. Entering an email just gives an error message. Edit. Clearing app data allowed me to access the app again. However, the app has a major bug. If you switch away from the app while the rest timer is running it stops counting the rest time.
Originally got this app because tired of unavailable machines at gym and needed new motivation. Had it for ~1 year, used 3-4 times / month. Got rid of it due to technical issues in past month that wouldn't be corrected: for new-to-me exercises, sound files that announce the exercise and number of repetitions would not annunciate -- worked fine for exercises I'd done since the beginning but not the newer exercises. Support wants screenshot/video even if told "LOOK HERE!" so not worth it
I really wanted to like this app, and I do! But I canceled within days of purchasing because of two serious flaws: 1) there is no bicep selection, which is crazy, and 2) you can put in that you have a full gym and it still gives you more body weight exercises than anything and there is no way to turn it off. It is cool how quickly and easily the app makes a workout for you, but it's not worth anything if it consistently gives you something you aren't interested in.
great app, the only thing I wished they had was the ability to say how sore your muscles are. I've had it where it will say a certain part of my body is at 100%, but it really is only at like 70%. I like that they show you what worked in the workout, but I wish that in the plan creating section, it would allow you to add that information. Besides that, it's an awesome app. It's really good for all lev3ls of working out!
Overall the app is pretty good. I have been fianlly using it for the last 6 months. The only issue I have and I hope the developer reads this and fix it is that when I try to change a specific exercise I don't like, it let's me pick a different one but when going back to the full routine the alternate exercise I picked was not taken but if I try to go and pick it again it is no longer available. This happens like 50% of the times.
I like the app a lot - simple for someone like me new to working out everyday (attempting...) I love how easy it is to use and the cost is pretty low! I use it when I travel or at home so the ease is great. They recently had an update, and no longer supported on my tablet which sucks - and the sound was difficult to find, since I mostly listen for the sounds. A few other glitches have been noticed but I am hoping they come out with a fix soon and support Google products to use as well!
I generally like this app as it gives guidance and variety. It has several "quirks" that irk. It will recommend a weight that does not regularly exist on dumbbells. For instance it recommends 7#. 5, 8,10 are common. It will recommend 17#, when only 15 and 20 are available. Sometimes the app instructions will say to use 45#, but when you do the exercise, it lists 5#. Otherwise pretty good.
I was looking for an app that allowed me to make my out workouts and that had recommendations or tips on performing the exercises! Which the app doesn't let you down at all in that aspect. The app even recommends an entire meal plan which is sweet. I only wish it also had a calorie counter and water intake tracker as well! That would really complete the experience! What say you?
BEWARE WHEN YOU SUBSCRIBE! When you subscribe on the Play Store, the app also keeps your subscription saved in their system. So you have to subscribe on the play store AND their app! BUYER BEWARE! I canceled my subscription a while back because I found an app that's $45/year instead of $22/month, and just woke up to a $67 charge from this place I'm paying ~$200/year LESS for the other app. Do your research on your Home Workouts and what apps there are out there.
I have had problems with the app. It freezes when opening the app. It won't send me an email code to login. It is very frustrating just trying to even get into my account to do a workout. Once in the app there is no tutorial on how to navigate it (I did get into the app 1 time). update 5/24/25: Their customer service is very good. They were able to help me figure out my issue with the login code, but I still opted for the refund which they granted. Changed my review from a 1 star to 3 star.
It will be better when it integrates Samsung galaxy wearable. I don't always carry my phone but my ring & watch I almost always have one or the other. The app overall is amazing. I love the workouts especially the ones that targets problem areas. The integration will only allow for more completed goals. Ex... if my goal is 5,000 steps but I leave my phone on my desk often while moving around, I would like for the data to be captured from an actual wearable device.
There's a lot of positives about this app. It takes the guess work out of your workout routine, and custom exercise option is great. It does tend to neglect certain muscle heads. For example, the upper chest gets missed a lot and so does the brachialis. If they could find a way to even out the exercises and make sure all heads are hit equally that would go a long way with people's goals.
Look, I love this exercise routine. Been on it now for 25 weeks. But, whatever you did on the last update messed something up. I listen to audiobooks while I workout. And when the exercise starts and my audiobook restarts, it freezes the workout. I have to go to the homescreen and open the app back up to get it to start the workout timer again. Every exercise it does this. Please fix.
It started out very good, I really enjoyed it. But after a week or so programs ( I had two) started freezing or skip over a workout. I followed tech supports directions but no go. Deleted and reinstalled the program three times. Didn't work. You did respond but suggested fix was no good. I deleted the program and requested my money back, which didn't happen. You also, yesterday, took more money from my account. I notified the bank to stop payment. Now please remove my info .
Implementing AI is cool idea. However, the interface on Android doesnt allow for 3 digit weight values. Almost useless for any barbell excercises. Also, there is no audible notifications at the end of a timed set or rest. I checked the settings and couldn't find any way to resolve either item. Edit: 3 digit weight values has been fixed. I bumped up 2 stars. I will give a full 5 if you can add the sounds to the strength workouts. It's in the daily morning routine but not in the strength part.
It's now crashed 3 times at the end of my workout, so it's not tracking nor logging the work out. I really liked it, but I can't recommend it if the functionality I've paid for isn't working. Please send an update to correct whatever is failing at the end of the workout. Also I tried emailing and never heard back. Happy to adjust the rating if this can be corrected. It is a really good app.
Great at home workout planner!!! the cost is perfect. (do the year package you save so much) they have everything from beginner to advanced and will customize with any workout equipment you have (or don't have). all they need is to be able to link the steps data with trackers like fitbits or samsung watches, and it would be 5 stars.
