Edit: bumped up to 4 stars for developer's fast response time & being helpful (thank you!!) OG: App is mostly great, but doesn't always work well with Bluetooth. If I'm connected to the Bluetooth in my car while using this app, I can only pause/play music from my phone and not my car. When using Bluetooth earbuds, disconnecting them from my phone does not always pause my music, although I do have that toggled in settings. If Bluetooth becomes more seamless I'll change to 5 stars

It's an ok app for listening to music. Sucks I need an app for that tho. The ads can be annoying, sometimes I just wanna open the app and listen to something, not watch an ad. It also closes randomly which is annoying on its own, but even more so when followed up by making me watch ads and the pop up asking me to rate that can be hard to close at times. Besides that it's a good app.

This is a very good player for your MP3s, especially for something free. Of course, there are ads with the free plan. But they're usually auto-muted, keeps your music playing, and are within 30 secs. All essential features are free, even a little bit of features that are kinda nice to have are free, too. There is a Premium feature with no ads and extra customization for either $2/month or $12/year, however. Surprisingly cheap for an app like this. One of my favorite music apps, but not the best.

additionally I loved this app and I still do, it has so many useful features that most certainly are not present on most mp3 players, but I feel like the ad frequency has been getting a little more out of hand. whenever I am listening to music with the app closed then I open it back up, I'm hit with an ad that pauses the music and about half the time I switch screens there is an ad.

I've been using this app for a few years now, and I can confidently say: This is the best mp3 player on the Google play store. I love the offline availability, I also love how you can make playlists, I love how it lets you pick a cover image you want, etc. Now, with anything great, it has a few downsides. 1: Ads, if you could, maybe just tone down the ads juuuuust a little bit, but I like it how there's none when offline 2: Please update the web browser, and I'll change this to 5 stars 😊

I love everything about this music player, especially the 10 band EQ. my only complaint is that if you're outside of the app with the music still playing, then re-open the player, you're hit with an ad. Not just an ad, but an interrupting ad that suddenly cuts out your music before selecting "return to app". This is unforgivable to a person with 11 pairs of Emotional support headphones. If you could just program the ad to be SILENT at least whenever you've got music CURRENTLY PLAYING.

I've had this app for over a year, and I have never felt it was a 5 ⭐ app. I would've given it 4 stars, even w/ the ads. Unfortunately, now I am being generous by giving it 3. In the past 35 minutes that I've been "trying" to listen to music it has "froze" or whatever it's called 3 times. No matter what I do, it won't come back- it's not my phone, because I can change screens, leave the app, but it's just stuck for 5-8 min. So we're talking about like 15 min of music in 35 min.

It's a good app for music. I liked that it found music automatically from my downloads. The only thing when you try to hit the 3 little buttons on the side of the song to add it to a playlist, it keeps playing the song, OMG I had to hit it like 10 times, very frustrating. And when you add a song to a playlist, it places it at the top of the list and not in the order you add them. I've never seen that before in any other music app. And I shouldn't have to watch ads to hear songs that I paid for.

One of the better media players I've used but I don't like that I can't pause the track without watching an ad. Makes it difficult when needing to pause often like when listening to talk radio recordings. I wish it had a one time purchase instead of monthly or yearly for the no add version. I don't care for recurring charges. Also the ads are designed to trick you into clicking the wrong thing to close the ad.

it is a good app. I only have two problems. One is the sensitivity when scrolling. when I'm trying to school through my songs, it very easily slides over to the other tabs (For You, Playlists, Albums area). The second problem I'm having now, is that it won't let me do an online search to change the covers, it keeps saying that the browser isn't supported and to update it. But even after updating all of the search engines it won't work.

At one point I just opened the app, then just slid the music player down to choose a different song and I got another ad. Very unsurprised with the ad frequency, however there are notable things. You don't have to add the song you downloaded to the app, it just does it automatically, very pleased. The music plays louder so if you're into that like I am, as I'm a bit hard at hearing, that's a plus for you then. Not just that but it's an mp3 player you can practically download any song you want.

1 of 4 adds everytime I open it, no matter if app was minimized. Daily pop-ups from the app, asking for a rating after the add, blocking me from playing a song, then another pop-up, with random suggestions, blocking me from playing a song. This app closes all by it self, at least once a day. Just shuts off, more clicks I guess. They put the adds beneth the buttons I need to use the app. The buttons to continue are so small that I sometimes have to restart app, I can't see a way to continue.

Great app. I've had it for the past week or so, I've been usually using it during school while I work so I can listen to music without all the annoying ads and having to skip them every few minutes. I like being able to change the covers / Change the artist credit so its correct. Only thing I had a slight problem is the loading screen. It takes a while even if I'm at home. Other than that it's great. (sorry if this review ain't all that great its 12 and I stayed up accidently)

Won't even start. Just loads forever. Edit: I HAVE a great connection. It's the very first time I've ever tried to use the app, and I was in the same room as my wifi modem/router. I had the most perfect connection possible! And what do you mean the number of songs can mess with loading speed? As in the speed it takes to OPEN THE APP!? How does that make any sense!? I'd like to email the devs to give them a detailed explanation of what I'm experiencing, since review responders don't get it.

This is a tough review to write, honestly. Of all of the music apps I've used over the years, this one is probably the most like what I want. But unfortunately, nothing is perfect. The ads while understandably necessary, can be incredibly invasive, often stopping the music to play, which is frustrating for a music app. Also, every once in a while, the app will just close for no reason and I have to reopen it. I think if it was just the banner ads and not video ads, it would be close to perfect.

I've only been using the app for a few weeks but really enjoy it so far. My biggest complaint is how difficult it is to close the ads. Sometimes it is very hard to see how to do that, particularly for those with aging eyes. Is there a pay version available that would not have the ads? If not, I think my hunt for a more suitable mp3 player continues... :( Update: I got tired of all the attempts to have me mistakenly click on an ad when opening the app. I'm switching over to AIMP.

My one and only issue. Needs a pro version. With a pro version, I can avoid the ads. Also, other apps allow me to listen to a song while in multiple select mode, which I use when setting up my different playlist. Other than that, I like the graphics when a song is playing. I was pleasantly surprised by the lyrics being available on EVERY song. Overall, well done. But the lack of a pro mode is big to me. That keeps it from being 5 stars.

The ads are very frequent, obnoxious, and unbearable. It's great to listen to a song then try to go back to queue another song, only to have some video ad for tiktok come up, with sound, and you cannot skip it. It pauses your song. It is unbelievably jarring. Also, unlike literally every other music player ever, hitting the back/rewind button does not take you to the beginning of your current song. I have no idea why this decision was made. I'd rather just pay for an ad-free player.

Ads when you first load in, and once you're in, there's also one that's there all the time. It also just randomly stops working when you try to skip a song. If yoy want a good music app, scroll down till you find one called music player and mp3 player, it has an orange circle as it's image. This app is trash and has made every phone I've ever had run like trash. ADVOID THIS GARBAGE AT ALL COSTS!

Some of the changes are good, and this is my go-to app. Edit: quick response time from the developer. Under 'albums', there is a list that goes left and right for the most recently used albums. Underneath that is a vertical list of all albums. Tried the settings menu and can't figure out how to change it. Used to be a 3 wide grid. Apologies if I sounded rude before. I appreciate the hard work and understand that coding isn't easy. Thank you. And again, sorry for any perceived rudeness.
