The web version of the Music Speed Changer doesn't work anymore. I had clicked on the "Choose Audio File" button on my computer screen multiple times, but nothing had popped up. I've tried shutting down and restarting my laptop, only to get the same result. Please fix this problem. Also, can you add the Rate, Music Type, and Equalizer features from the app to the web version, please?
This is a great app to slow down music for learning while keeping the pitch the same. You can also increase the speed to quickly review speech or a long song. The pitch can also be changed up or down independently of the speed, either as a percentage or in BPM (beats per minute). I love the waveform display, which also lets you select any part of the track to play and repeat. Great for fast passages and riffs!
This app is crazy. Somehow you can even isolate instrument/vocal tracks. This entire app helps so much with rehearsing and learning songs. Being able to see the waveforms, and being able to set loops from specific parts in the song helps so much. I paid for the premium version to remove ads and add some extra features, but I'd say it's 1000% worth it if you're a serious about learning songs.
Honestly love this app, been using it for years on different phones when I got fed up with sp*tify and wanted to play a song for free on repeat, it's also nice for when you just like a small section of a song and want to cut and loop it. Also you can make your own Nightcore/hyperpop without having to save and edit a ton of files!
it does what it says it does to perfection. the preamp on the equalizer is a nice touch because you can make small adjustments to get the volume exactly where you need it to be. and the pitch changer is a Godsend due to medications I am taking which make tones sound lower than they actually are. being able to fine tune it feels good.
Love the app, but it drains a surprising amount of battery. After 20 minutes of usage it drained 10% of battery. That's insane. Also, I thought new songs weren't populating in my song list for some reason, but in reality it seems some songs won't order themselves properly even though they're sorted by alphabetical order
I've used it for a year, and it's useful! I can pick all sorts of recordings and change the speed or pitch. Speaking of pitch, you can make recordings go up or down by semitone. Best thing you ever created! ❤ 2025 update: Still love it. Only issue now is that ads became a bit more prevalent, but aside, I just won't give up this wonderful app.
Although the app is good, there should be something like this << -0.00 >> on each pitch and tempo which would look like << %100 >> , to be able to lower or raise the pitch by the decimals as clicking the line to move the cursor for a different pitch just makes the pitch too strong, for example, getting the pitch to -2.30 is hard because of the inaccuracies, but adding the < and > is an upgrade, and there is space for it
Music Speed Changer is awesome! It is very enjoyable. The app has all the right features and tools. I just wish it had a SRS audio button where I could hear the music with a different sound. You know, hear the audio more clearly. SRS gives music a very rich sound, and it allows you to hear parts of the song that is left out. This app needs SRS audio, like, BAD.
I enjoy using this app, and I'm fine with using the ad ver. However, they are incredibly loud and intrusive whenever I enter the app (I've opted out of personalized ads.) On top of that, if I was already playing music, it doesn't turn back on automatically by the time I close the ad. I understand that there's a paywall to access an ad free version, but regardless I shouldn't have to dread opening the app since something 10× too loud will always pop up.
I use this app for MP3 songs that I cannot use on my normal music app. I love features of it, like the pitch and speed. I paid for the no ad option years ago, so I cannot speak on that end. My only gripe is that you can change what is shown to edit song, but the song editor options are in the order it wants (with the most recent update reversing some of them...) my suggestion would be to allow the user to order it how they want (in settings tab), but besides that I love this app!
This is, without a doubt the best tempo and key changer that I've seen at the non-studio level. While feature rich, it delivers a smartly thought out, no nonsense interface and the results are fast, clean and smooth. The addition of the splitter - for no charge - was nice and it too, is excellent. Totally worth having if you enjoy tweaking your music library. It's also useful if you compose music for quickly and easily hearing a work in progress at different speeds and in different keys.
Best app of its kind. I use this as a general audio player and also for transcribing. I transcribe music daily (jazz musician), and the constant pitch slow down is very good. The looping is also pretty painless. I just discovered that it has a "split track into instruments" feature and tried it out, and it's INSANE. Not perfect, but I've never been able to transcribe bass before, but with this I easily did 32 bars in 15 minutes. Don't even remember when I paid for it, but it's worth it.
I've now been using this program for close to 10 years. It is SUPER! There are programs out there costing hundreds of dollars that don't work as well as Music Speed Changer. I play the fiddle by ear. With this program I select a recording of a song I want to learn. Then, I slow down the recording to learn the piece. I can loop difficult to learn segments of the song. I can change the song to the key I want. Music Speed Changer is very intuitive. I highly recommend it!
Wow, I have never purchased an app so quickly. After using it for 3 minutes and seeing how it has EVERY feature I want in a mobile practice app plus waaayy more than that, I had to give this dev my money. And they even set the app up so you don't really need to pay anything to use all of its features, just have to watch an ad every 30 min. I'll update this if I have problems, bugs, etc. as I use it, but man what an excellently designed, consumer friendly app! Thank you for making this 👍
Ive been using this app for like 3 years, at first it was a random project, and then one day i discovered you could listen to music in the most ideal way possible on this, theres playlists, shuffle buttons, loop buttons, its awesome. I'd recommend it as an mp3 player, but the actual speed up part of the app also works great. You can export the speed you have set. You dont even need wifi, so 11/10
After LG left the phone market. I was in the lookout for a phone or app that could change the pitch and tempo like LG phones come stock with. I mean, Who doesn't want to roll down their Windows, while jamming to some Chipmunk like music, or so low pitched you can't make out the song. After one day using it. I bought it. It has more effects than I can ever dream of, and I can even save the edited song as a copy. Won't the neighbors be surprised. All thanks to this app ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Savvy design works great. These people are really tuned in. They provide that critical "buying decision-time:" you try out the app for 30 minutes for free without ads and with all the paid controls in place. THAT was my instant buy decision! I happily paid for their work. You can set A/B points, also many sub points and name them or remove them individually. Professional tools let you get things done in more than one way. I am a total convert. These people truly know what they're doing. TNX..!!
As a musician who plays several guitars in various drop tunings, it's really nice to see if songs work better in different keys or to get a refresher on a song that might make me realize how catchy the song is or isn't. Also by altering pitch I can hear undertones if certain instruments aren't working together as well as initially perceived to be. ITS ALSO FREE AF.
I've used this for years and it's been great. The ads aren't even annoying like many other apps. The only downside is having the "hide" option next to the "details" button. I mistakenly hide tracks all the time when it isn't my intention. The option is close to "details". Its a hassle trying to unhide tracks. I like the option but is there a way to move the "hide" further away from the "details" button?
